I’m currently in the process of moving, so I’m not accepting new reoccurring clients at this time! Also, all summer weekends are fully booked up, I am not available for housesitting until September . I have been around animals since I was born. Throughout my life I have been lucky enough to gain invaluable knowledge & experience with many different breeds of dogs (from chihuahuas to working dogs to Great Danes) cats, horses, rodents, bunnies, chickens, goats - you name it! I have a horse of my own, but since I can’t afford another pet of my own due to school, I would really love to help take care of some other people’s pets. I put animal wellbeing above all and can’t wait to make new furry friends while helping out their owners!

Samantha was a godsend for us -- she was a reliable, friendly, and caring dog walker who our gregarious pup, Watson, basically instantly fell in love with. We would still have her walk Watson if she weren't moving! She is fantastic.

I’m currently a student so I have lots of time to help out! Due to travel times in between places I do please ask for a little bit of flexibility on timing (15-30 minutes or so). A quick note for weather - as the muddy season is upon us please provide a towel so I can dry your dogs’ paws🐾 I will walk rain or shine, but my personal policy is that we will have to cancel/reschedule a walk if it is thunderstorming or if there’s a tornado warning. However, I would be more than happy to switch to a drop in visit:)

For walks and drop ins, my motto is to leave the area the same or better than I found it. I will always try my best to not disturb anything in or around your home. I also pride myself on having great communication skills and I am never afraid to reach out and ask questions if something is unclear to me. While my home is unavailable for dog sitting, I was a nanny during my collegiate summers and I am well versed in how to best operate within others spaces. I have previously provided pet care in many others houses before and have had positive reviews. I am available for cat sitting! I do ask that you provide your cats with the toys, food, and litter they love the most to make them the most comfortable:)

My typical day will vary depending on what your pets usual schedule is. I will always ask you beforehand on things like: what time is feeding? Are they pretty active or more of a cuddlebug type? What is their existing routine? Do they have puzzle games/lick mats I can use for mental stimulation? My goal is to match what a typical day for them would be in order to decrease any stress that comes with being away from their family. Dogs especially thrive on routine so I like to stick to that as close as I can.
