Pet care experience
Future Vet, Trusted Care
Hi! I’m currently a veterinary student at UW with hands-on experience working with dogs and cats of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs. I’ve also worked in a veterinary clinic and have previous experience dog walking and caring for pets, which has helped me become comfortable handling many different breeds, personalities, and situations. My background in veterinary medicine helps me provide attentive, knowledgeable care while also making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have over four years of experience handling anxious, fearful, high-energy, and senior pets, and I’m comfortable administering medications if needed. I understand animal body language and behavior, which helps me create a calm and positive experience for pets of all personalities. What sets me apart is the combination of genuine love for animals and professional animal care experience. I know how important trust and communication are when someone else is caring for your pet, so I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay or walk!

Safety, trust & environment
I currently provide care in clients’ homes rather than my own, so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. I’m respectful of clients’ homes and always prioritize safety, cleanliness, and reliable care while visiting or walking pets. Because of my veterinary and clinic experience, I’m comfortable handling pets with different personalities and needs, including anxious, senior, or high-energy animals. I pay close attention during walks and visits to make sure pets stay safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. I also believe communication is very important, so I’ll provide regular updates and photos to help owners feel confident and connected while they’re away.

Schedule
Pet care fits very naturally into my routine! I’ll be working full-time during the weekdays, but I’m available for morning visits/walks before work, drop-ins during lunch, depending on location, and evening care after work. I’ll also have greater flexibility on weekends for walks, drop-ins, and extended care. I enjoy staying active and spending time with animals, so pet care is something I genuinely look forward to fitting into my schedule. I always make sure pets receive reliable attention, exercise, and care while their owners are away.

- Before caring for your pet, I’d love to know about their personality, routine, energy level, and any specific needs or behaviors that help me provide the best care possible. This can include things like leash reactivity, anxiety, fear around new people or animals, medical conditions, medications, feeding routines, favorite activities, or anything else important for their comfort and safety. I also appreciate knowing what your pet enjoys most so I can help keep their routine fun, familiar, and stress-free while you’re away!
