About: New to Rover, but NOT new to pet care! I have taken care of dogs, cats and other animals since I was 12 years old! I've had pets of all kinds for the past 10 years and I have also been hired to pet-sit for family, friends, and neighbors throughout middle school, high school and college! Additionally, my father owned a small dog walking business in our town while I was growing up, so I have lots of experience with walking all kinds of dogs. I am familiar with how to walk with and take care of dogs of all sizes from chihuahuas to great Danes! And I have experience working with varying ages, from puppies to older doggos who need additional care such as medication administration or walking accommodations. In addition to growing up with dogs, I've also had and taken care of cats, reptiles (lizards and turtles), rodents (hamsters, guinea pigs, rats & rabbits), and fish which gives me a wide range of drop-in visit expertise! I am familiar with how to clean liter boxes or small animal enclosures/cages, cleaning water fountains and food bowls, serving food and treats, administering medications, playing with your pet or using other forms of enrichment, etc. I am looking forward to working with you and your pet(s)! During the school year I work part-time, so I have plenty of time to hangout with your pet(s)! I am available on weekdays in the mornings from 10am-1pm or evenings from 6pm-10pm. My weekend availability fluctuates, but when I am in town I am generally available on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-10pm! Over the summer (June-Aug) I work as a camp counselor, so I am unavailable during the week but have availability over most weekends : ) I currently offer dog walking and drop-in visits for dogs, cats or small animals. To ensure your pet gets the best from me, I make sure that I have detailed instructions about what your pet needs from my visit and/or walk. This includes having conversations about things like how much to feed them and when, litterbox changing specifics, changing your pets water, keeping your pets areas clean, any medication instructions you have for me, where you want me to walk your dog, expectations for waste disposal, or any other specific details I need from you in order to take care of your pet!

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals. I’ve dog sat several times over the span of a decade. I’ve cared for dog breeds of all ages, sizes and personalities. Whether it was daily walks, overnight stays, and followed detailed care routines. I also love to stay active and will provide long walks in the neighborhood or local parks! As a college student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to plan my classes and study time around pet care. Whether it’s starting with a morning walk or stopping by in the afternoon. Typically I am available Monday-Friday. In clients houses, I make it my top priority to care for your space, respect your pets as I would my own home. I stick closely to your pets usual routine for feeding, walks and playtime. And I’ll always keep you updated with photos or messages to see how they’re doing.

About: I grew up with Bassett hounds & befriended the neighborhood cats in college. I regularly take care of my friends’ cats when they’re out of town as well as my brother + parents’ dogs. I’m WFH Wednesday & Friday, and am usually free during the week after 5:15. During the weekend, I often have plans but am usually in town, so it’s easy to work things into my schedule with a little notice. I’m here for most holidays & have off work 12/20-12/28. When I’m getting to know a pet, I always focus on matching their energy & making sure they’re comfortable with me. I’ve found getting on their level, being aware of my tone of voice, & letting them come to me goes a long way. Whether I’m stopping by to clean a litter box/ feed/ walk or doing an overnight visit, I always enjoy spending time petting & playing with them too.

About: Hiya! ~ I’m Natalee. Nice to meet you! Im a proud dog/cat lover and have a deep respect for animals of all sizes, shapes, and breeds! I spent my childhood caring for my neighbors dogs as well as the family pets. I’ve also cared for cats, Guinea pigs, snakes, and bearded dragons. In 2019, I adopted my three-legged rescue dog Link! Learning to care for an animal as an owner has taught me how to be a better human to myself and to others. I love living in pedestrian-friendly Madison. That means dogs everywhere! About: Growing up, I adored the family cat and dog, and was responsible for their care throughout my teen years. Cuddles and Fidget were a bonded pair who lived long, happy lives and passed within months of each other in 2020 while I was in lockdown abroad (I’m so not over it). As an adult renter, circumstances have not yet allowed me to have a dog or cat of my own. I turned to pet sitting as a way to continue connecting with these precious creatures who have so much to teach us about stillness, acceptance and the art of living in the moment. I also love reptile friends such as snakes and geckos! My work as an artist allows me great scheduling flexibility. This gives me the freedom to check in on your pets as often as they need, and keep them company throughout the day and night. Your pets are my top priority when they are in my care. I watch pets in their own home where they feel safest and can continue their routines as uninterrupted as possible during their primary caregivers absence. I talk to them and interact with them like they are my close friends - they get to know all my secrets! Having written instructions to refer back to during the stay, which are discussed beforehand with an opportunity for questions and clarification, is extremely helpful in understanding how to provide the best care possible.
