Communication has been really good and it’s been such a weight off our shoulders to know that Brittany will be giving our dog a fun break in the middle of the day when we can’t be home. She sends photos and little updates to let us know how their walks went and those are really fun to see. Highly recommend Brittany!”

12. Anaya S.
About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and started taking on responsibilities of owning a dog at the age of 10. I also worked in an animal shelter for awhile taking care of both the cats and dogs by providing thorough cleaning to cages and walking dogs of all personality types. I mainly focused on cats in the shelter and learned a lot about them that I never knew; I understand their shyness, personable traits, and much more, which eventually led me to getting my own cat! Overall, I love hanging out and providing care to all animals. Soon, I will be starting a part-time job. I do not have my schedule yet, but when I do I will update that information. On days I’m off and before or after work I would be willing to provide care in any way. In my home, I would make sure the animal staying would have access to all the necessities: food, water, toys, treats and a comfy spot to lay down if they choose. I would also ensure dogs would be taken for walks or potty breaks every 2 hours. In a client’s home, I would stop by for 30min-an hour and provide the same care.

13. Katie T.
“Katie has a 4 year old German Shepard named Bailey. The way Katie takes care of Bailey is remarkable with looking out for Baileys best interest from nutrition, training and exercise. Bailey is included in most every aspect of Katie's life including vacations. Katie truly puts Bailey's well being first and would do the same for any dog.”

14. Henry M.

“Henry was on time, attentive and took good care of my dog on their 1/2 hour walks. I would definitely recommend Henry for dog walking.”

15. Robert L.

“Bob was quick to respond and made the process easy!”

16. Evie M.

“Evie was amazing!! She gave great updates and took Marina on a new route for all of her walks. Would definitely recommend:)”

17. Geissy D.
About: Hi, my name is Geissy (“jay-cee”) and I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember! Growing up, they were always a part of my life, teaching me about unconditional love and the joy they bring to the human experience. Caring for them feels like second nature to me—it’s a passion. I’m a neuroscientist, psychologist, and meditation teacher originally from Brazil, now living in Madison with my amazing husband who is from Wisconsin. Back home, I come from a family with two wonderful dogs who I miss dearly. Before them I was lucky to take care of other three different dogs, from young to old dogs, and watched my friends pets as they needed. We use to joke that I make dogs and cats meditate because they just sit around me when I am doing my practice 😄 🧘🏽♀️. More recently, I had the joy of walking our senior dog every day until her passing a few months ago. She was a sweet, grumpy 14 year-old lady who loved to smell all the things in the neighborhood. Her absence has left me with so much love to share, and now I’m eager to bring that same care to your furry friend. With my flexible schedule, I can dedicate the time, attention, and care your pet deserves. Whether it’s a brisk walk, a slow stroll, or simply giving them the affection they need, I’ll treat your dog like they’re my own. And yes—I’m ready for those chilly Wisconsin winters! I am also a runner, so I love to stay outside checking new parks to do my exercises. Recently I ran the madison half marathon and it was so much fun! I can’t wait to meet you and your pet and help them stay happy, healthy, and loved! I work remotely, which gives me a flexible schedule to dedicate quality time to your dog. Between my client sessions and prioritizing my own self-care, I’m delighted to spend time with your furry friend—whether it’s taking them on a walk or giving them loving attention at home. I am available for short walks, long walks, I can watch your dog at your place and I am also happy to have your dog at my place :) When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and loving environment according to their needs and make sure that they are happy and stress-free.

18. Mary B.

“Mary is so great! My dog Luna gets very adorably excited when she knows Mary is coming over for a walk. I totally trust her with Luna and I know they have a good time. Looking forward to rebooking! Thanks, Mary. 😊”

19. Angela H.
“Angie is the best! She's a true professional, and our dog loves her. The convenience of having her stay in our home with the dog means we don't have to coordinate picking a dog up from a kennel - especially helpful after traveling with two young kids.”

20. Kendell O.
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was 10 years old. I grew up with dogs, and took on care responsibilities from a young age. I have cared for neighbors dogs both while they are traveling and during the work day. I have lived with cats for the past 6 years and care for them when my roommates are out of town. I am comfortable with any size dog, as well as any age. My family had a very young and senior dog at the same time, so I understand the intricacies of caring for an older pet and managing multiple at once. I’m currently in school, so I do not have a typical full-time work schedule. I have flexibility in my days, especially between Friday-Monday. Tuesday through Thursday I have flexibility in the afternoons and evenings. I am available every morning except for Wednesday until about 10 am on average. I spend time making sure pets are given attention, played with, and have the necessary food and water to be comfortable. I enjoy spending time with pets in whatever form is most enjoyable to them.
