“Anna has been an angel over the last 6 months! Come rain or shine, she shows up on time with a great attitude and my dog and cat both adore her. She's committed, communicative, and professional! I couldn't recommend her more”

About: I took care of my family's dog until I moved to college, and I really miss having a dog! Rover is perfect because it will allow me to satisfy my love for dogs while fitting with my schedule and helping you. I am also hoping to get a dog in the near future. I enjoy running and walking so having a dog with energy is not a problem as long as they are leash trained. I’m currently working from home full time. I can be flexible on when walks occur but am fairly busy between 8-5 and need some heads up to plan around meetings. I do not have a fenced in yard but will take your dog on frequent walks or as needed if you’re booking that service. I’m careful to follow instructions on how to get into your house for walks and lock up on the way out.

“So very happy with walks with Carley. She is solid, confident, relaxed and positive. I have a dog who can be challenging (reactive) and she is more than up to the task!”

“Shannon was awesome! Really lovely with Norman, brought water along, did a great job managing his leash pulling, and was really smart about resting him in the shade. I will definitely use her again!”

“Ernst is super friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. We have 70 lbs adolescent pup who has a lot of energy to give. Ernst is great at keeping our pup in line. I already notice an improvement in our pet’s loose leash walking!”

“Alexandria is amazing with my dog and provides great updates each day after their daily walk. She’s reliable, shows up on time, and spends the full time. I feel so lucky to have found her!”

About: I’m 26 years old with no kids except for my fur babies. A huge chunk of my life is dedicated to giving my pets all the love and best possible care. As a school speech therapist, I’m off all summer and would love to devote my time and energy into caring for your pets! I have 3 cats and a dog, therefore, having experience caring for both. I’m a speech language pathologist in the schools and am taking the summer off. Therefore, I will have all the time in the world to care for your pets one on one all summer! I have a fenced backyard to ensure dogs safety and am very knowledgeable about pets (including cat behavior) and the needs of pets of all ages.
“Kali was great! She came ready and prepared. You can tell that she has been around dogs and is a natural. Mario fell in love with her instantly. I would hire Kali again in a heart beat!”

About: I’m an incoming veterinary student and pet owner. I’ve grown up taking care of my cat and dog and love spending my time with animals. I have worked as a veterinary assistant for the past 3 years. Daily dog walks are an important part of my routine and I have a flexible schedule. I love meeting new people and animals on the island! I have experience with dogs of all sizes and am an active person. I also keep my dog leashed and am amenable to dog’s specific needs.

“Patrycja was a fantastic and professional caretaker for our dog Theo. Patrycja went above and beyond our expectations to give Theo great care and exercise, and did so consistently until we moved to a neighborhood.”

“We love Tina and our dog Stevie loves her even more! We use her often for check-ins and walks. She goes above and beyond with communication and photos. Appreciate having her in our life to love on our dog.”

About: Since I work from home, I'm available all day, which means your dog is never left alone for long. I bring real, hands-on experience: time working at a dog kennel, raising a 120-lb Saint Bernard from a puppy, and years of sitting and walking dogs for family. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and know how to keep them on a steady routine. I work a flexible schedule, which allows me to give dogs consistent attention throughout the day. For boarding, I structure my days around feeding routines, potty breaks, walks, and downtime so dogs can settle in comfortably. For drop-ins and house sitting, I’m mindful of maintaining your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible. Dogs staying in my home are hosted in a peaceful, organized environment. I focus on one family at a time to keep the atmosphere low stress. When caring for dogs in their own home, I respect your space and follow all care instructions carefully.

Eastmorland dog parents share their Rover experiences
We've used a few Rover walkers. Jen D is in a different league. She's on time through a Madison winter, sends the best photo updates, and actually notes Gertrude's weird butt tornadoes. What stands out is she genuinely likes dogs, not just the walk. She learned Gertrude's routine in one visit, brings her favorite octopus toy, and texts a quick recap every time: how far they went and whether Gertrude did anything she shouldn't.

Lora was reliable and really gave extra. She came out before hand to learn the dogs and their routes. I am currently disabled and she was so helpful bringing in packages. She took each dog on extra laps if they failed to do their business the first round. We will not hesitate to call Lora the next time we need someone.

Laura came and met us before starting walks with my dog, Ruby. She was great with Ruby and very attentive to her. The first time Laura came to walk Ruby, Ruby was shy and uncertain. Laura was patient and slowly allowed my pup to warm up to her so they could play in the yard. I highly recommend Laura, she clearly loves animals and does a great job recognizing what they need and goes at their pace.
