“Melinda is so wonderful with my dogs! She always gives very thorough updates has been flexible to add last-minute walks. Highly recommend (even for not-the-best at walking pups!)”

“Laura is by far the best dog walker I’ve ever had. She took my girl to the park for an hour every day, sent frequent updates, and even made sure she got her dinner. She always left the sweetest little stories about what Margo had been up to, which never failed to brighten my day. Honestly, I don’t think I would have made it through my rotation without her.”

“Becky is so punctual, reliable, accommodating and so so sweet with my high energy 1.5 year old puppy!!! He loves seeing her and is very well taken care of. I’m so happy he has her to take him on adventures while I’m at work. I highly recommend.”

“Matthew is still crushing it as Norbert’s dog walker! He brainstorms challenges and tries new things to make their experience better and also makes some time for play in the backyard. 10/10 would recommend as a pal for your furry friend.”

“Ashley was a great last minute walker and very patient with all my novice Rover questions. She provided lots of pictures during the 30min walk and had no time accessing my quirky building with ease.”

About: I grew up with several dogs, have fostered puppies as young as 8 weeks old. I’m experienced with giving fluids and medications, senior pet care, and making sure pets are clean and comfortable. My apartment is right along the Monona Bike Loop trail, which I often run/walk on with a nearby dog park. I also offer bathing or grooming for an additional fee. Your pet’s wellbeing and happiness always come first with me! I work primarily from home and have a flexible schedule, so I’m able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets I watch. Whether it’s morning walks, midday play sessions, or evening snuggles, I make sure each pet feels like part of the family and gets the consistency they need. My days are organized around routines that prioritize their happiness and wellbeing. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, cozy environment with plenty of toys, comfy spots to nap, and access to a secure yard (if you have one). I follow each pet’s individual feeding, medication, and exercise schedule, and send regular photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing. If I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to stick to their established routines. I make sure to follow your instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care your pet needs. I also keep your home tidy and respect your space as if it were my own.
About: I have experience with every kind of dog! Puppies, senior dogs, I am also used to administering medication to dogs. I have been working as a k9 coach for the past year! I am super patient, kind, and understanding I have a super flexible schedule! I am very open to anything last minute. I can do multiple walks a day as well! I am also more than happy to just stay the whole day if house sitting! I would say my animals are so spoiled! I am very gentle. I am someone who believes that yelling at an animal won’t do anything. So I would say I have a very gentle but effective approach.
“Ernst is super friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. We have 70 lbs adolescent pup who has a lot of energy to give. Ernst is great at keeping our pup in line. I already notice an improvement in our pet’s loose leash walking!”

About: Hello! I was fortunate enough to grow up in a home that always had a myriad of animals. Taking in and caring for strays was something my parents encouraged. As an adult, I adopted my five dogs (including bringing three home with me from Morocco after I finished my Peace Corps service) and three cats. I was also a foster parent with Underdog Pet Rescue for years where I had the privilege of caring for dozens of dogs and cats in my home and setting them up for a happy life with their adopters. In addition to dogs and cats, I have pet-sat for families with chickens, pot-bellied pigs, and various reptiles and amphibians. I am happy to care for any creature (only thing I am unable to do is snakes that require live feedings). I own my house and have a large, fenced-in backyard. I work from home and create my own schedule so I am easily able to accommodate most drop-in times as well as give your loved one plenty of attention and love if they’re boarding with me. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions. Thank you! Lizzie (+ Bogey, Runty, Dolly, Tipsy, Nikki, Pabel, and Pushkin) I work from home as well as make my own schedule. This allows me quite a bit of flexibility when it comes to serving your pet with their known and preferred routines. My home is chaotic, no doubt, with my seven beloved pets. Still, all have years of experience at being foster siblings and temporary hosts for dozens (possibly hundreds at this point) of foster pets and boarding clients over the years. I like to allow my pets as much freedom as possible as long as they both feel and are safe. Messes happen and it’s no big deal! I raise my own animals as well as care for others’ with patience, understanding, and genuine joy.
“Mary is so great! My dog Luna gets very adorably excited when she knows Mary is coming over for a walk. I totally trust her with Luna and I know they have a good time. Looking forward to rebooking! Thanks, Mary. 😊”

“Patrycja was a fantastic and professional caretaker for our dog Theo. Patrycja went above and beyond our expectations to give Theo great care and exercise, and did so consistently until we moved to a neighborhood.”

“Madi is easy to communicate with, shows up to walk our dog, Milo, when she says she is going to, and gives feedback right away. We’re very happy with her and would recommend her to anyone.”

“Once again Kali is above and beyond! I can always tell when I get home and Bean is so calm and relaxed from a great walk/time spent with Kali. Such great love and care for my boy and I trust that he is in such good hands. Thank you again!!”

About: As a dog and cat mom, I use Rover for my babies when I am working. I love being outside and taking my pup for walks daily. We have the best adventures and I thought this would be a great way to give your pet the best day and adventure as well! My pets are my children and I want to ensure they have the best life! I currently work in healthcare so I have a varying schedule which allows me to be available to help with your pets to make sure they have the best life too! My pets are allowed on the furniture and get multiple snuggles and kisses daily 🥰 Your pets rules will be followed as a pet mom, I would always want my lifestyle and rules followed as well.

About: I love dogs and animals - they really are the best! I have owned three for many years, raising two from being puppies, and addressing challenging behavior with an older doggo, in addition to fostering multiple rescue dogs. I recently moved to WI, and my pets stayed home with my partner for now, and miss my furry companions and want to provide love and care for yours while I’m here! I am happy to work with you on what’s best, whether that is house sitting, boarding, or simply letting your animals out on walks or to go potty. Let’s chat! I currently work from home and have a remote job, so can provide your dog with any needs or attention that makes sense based on their schedule. I have some in-person meetings that occur throughout the week, and am generally around on the weekends regularly. If planning on boarding or daycare, my apartment is very dog-friendly, with many residents having pets and there are plenty of amenities available, whether walking around the neighborhood on leash or playing in the apartment’s fenced in dog run, that will give your pet what it needs. I can easily crate, take out for potty breaks, etc. I am also mindful of dog reactivity regardless of my own or neighbor’s dogs.
“I should have done this ages ago, I was struggling last month with pet care but was overwhelmed. Katie made it so easy, helped out with a last minute request, and I was able to relax while out. I definitely will use again!”

“We love having Katie come in to walk our dog! She does such a great job and always checks in with us if anything is new or needs to be done extra. So happy to have her as our dog walker!!”

Sherman Terrace dog parents share their Rover experiences
Our dog has lived with several major changes in the last 2 months. That, combined with the 95 degree heat wave this weekend have made him a little reluctant to leave me and go outside. Maddie was very good with him and got him out for a walk. I was surprised they stayed out as long as they did. I would definitely use her again.
