About: I have taken care of my dog Koda for 15 years. So I have been with him since he was a puppy to and elder. I trained him to go through obstacles, taken him on countless walks and hikes, and showered him with lots of love. I’m currently a college student so my classes vary each day. I am free Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays before 12 and I am free Fridays and weekends. I am flexible to help out late afternoons Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I live in a very calm, spacious, and animal friendly apartment. I am also surrounded by nature and live one minute away from a beautiful and lengthy walking path with lots of greenery. I also am very well organized so I would make sure your home looked exactly as it did before I arrived. I am more than happy to be accommodating to peoples privacy and living space.

This was our first extended time away since adopting Finn where a friend or relative (usually his grandma) was not available to cat-sit so we were pretty nervous how all of this would work. About: I think something, I can proudly say is that I have people meet me once and trust me to watch their pets. I’ve had pets and I have taken care of friends and families pets since I was 12. Truly bonding with my pets was the highlight of my childhood, an experience that I know not every child is fortunate to have. I’ve seen my dog from puppyhood to his frosty senior days. About: From second grade until this past year, I grew up taking care of my maltese shih tzu everyday, named Ruby. She was certainly a very spoiled and loved dog! Since she passed just a couple months ago, it's been strange lacking the comfort and company that Ruby always provided me when I was alone- whether that was on long hiking adventures or just relaxing. In spite of her passing, and my overall affection for animals, I'm eagerly looking forward to finding new furry friends to take care of, play with, and join me on my walks! Growing up, I also frequently took care of my neighbor's dogs which gave me experience with all different breeds, sizes, and behaviors of dogs as well as cats. And aside from all my love for Ruby, she was definitely stubborn and picky so I have experience in dealing with difficult dogs, keeping patience, and figuring out how to accommodate each individual dogs needs and personality. Additionally, my sister has been on rover for years and has watched countless dogs and cats through this platform, and I've helped her out a lot, which has obviously provided me with the most relevant experience possible! I will be a junior at UW-Madison, but for now I am enjoying my summer in Madison without classes going on! Therefore, I have plenty of free time and so I'd love to fill it with caring for pets! Living at a prime location in the UW-Madison campus, and having easy access to my car means I can walk or drive to you and your pet and come to your home even if it's outside of campus. Whether your dog likes to loiter around every mailbox we pass on walks, or if they like to run, then I'm the dog walker for them! I'm happy to do a casual stroll and bathroom break, and just as happy to do long, multiple-mile walks. As I've gotten used to my whole life, I will always pick up after your dog and will make sure they stay safe and close to me by using whatever leash and collar you can provide. And no matter the weather, I'm still happy to spend the time outside with your dog! If you just need me to stop by to feed your pet and take them for a potty break outside, then I will happily pick up after them in the yard and after they are done eating. I grew up in nice home with a Mom who always taught me to keep things clean, organized, have good manners, and when at others homes to always leave things cleaner than how it was when I arrived. I've upheld these morals in college and so if you'd like me to stay with your pet for extended periods of time at your home, I'm the most trustworthy and respectful person to hire!

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was around 5 years old. I grew up in the country in Texas and at one point we had around 20 cats and 9 dogs. We took care of the strays that made their way onto our property, and sometimes adopted from shelters and random people. I was taught love and compassion for animals since I was a young child. I continue to embrace the kindness I have in my heart for animals everyday. I’m usually available most of the time, as I don’t have any full time work to tend to. I also do not celebrate holidays which can benefit pet owners very much because they can count on me being available as long as I have not already booked with someone else. It was quite challenging but it’s fun! When I came here, we adopted Maggie and Lyka when they were still puppies. Maggie is a 7 years old Pug and Lyka is a 3 years old Boston Terrier. I love them so much! They are both lovable and friendly. Our neighbors and friends have relied on me to groom, walk, feed and bathe their dogs while they were away. My house sits in a shady private area and is surrounded by parks and trails so there will be a lot of running around and play time when your dog is cared for by me. I can do oral medication administration, I have had a senior dog experience and can provide daily exercise for your pups. My schedule is flexible so I can usually take on new dogs at a moment’s notice. I will update you regularly with pictures and videos to give you peace of mind during your time apart. I am working from home so most of my time will be caring for your fur baby. Daycare drop-off no earlier than 6:00 am and pick-up hours anytime in the afternoon. We have a large fenced backyard and our two dogs, Maggie (Pug) and Lyka (Boston Terrier) are very good with all dogs. They love to play and will keep your fur baby company during their stay. The dogs are in and out all day using 9 steps. We have security cameras and limited access to our property.

About: I've spent over the last 8 years pet-sitting, dog-walking, working with horses and farm animals, and worked the last 3 years at a small animal veterinary hospital. I love cats and dogs so much and am a very active individual, so I put a lot of time and effort into walking and/or playing with the pets. About: I have taken care of my dog Koda for 15 years. So I have been with him since he was a puppy to and elder. I trained him to go through obstacles, taken him on countless walks and hikes, and showered him with lots of love. I’m currently a college student so my classes vary each day. I am free Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays before 12 and I am free Fridays and weekends. I am flexible to help out late afternoons Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I live in a very calm, spacious, and animal friendly apartment. I am also surrounded by nature and live one minute away from a beautiful and lengthy walking path with lots of greenery. I also am very well organized so I would make sure your home looked exactly as it did before I arrived. I am more than happy to be accommodating to peoples privacy and living space.

“Our 2 dogs stayed at Sarah's for about a week earlier this month. The stay was great! We got daily updates, including photos and videos. They have a fantastic large fenced in yard where they could safety run and play. They had lots of playtime, but also lots of snuggles and love. They were both clearly enjoying their own vacation at Sarah's while we were gone on ours. It was so refreshing to know they were so well cared for while we were away- we have already rebooked them for our next trip!”
