About: Eric and Rachel share a love for their beloved Aussie-beagle Lilo and fostering rescue dogs together. We know that it is never easy to leave your beloved dog with someone new, and in a new place. As our own Lilo has struggled with separation anxiety before, we know how important it is to have a pet sitter who is present, patient, and able to cater their care towards a dog’s specific needs. Rachel has taken care of 6 different family dogs growing up, including a border collie, golden retriever, Boston terrier, 2 mixed breeds and a silky terrier. Eric has taken care of his family dog (chihuahua minpin) since birth till now (11 years old). Together, we have fostered 22 rescue dogs these past two years, ranging from a high energy Great Pyrenees to 3 Border Collie puppies all at once, to a completely afraid and anxious Beagle mama and Shiba Inu mama that are recovering from very difficult situations. We have also looked after American pit bulls, large Newfoundlands and a Rhodesian Ridgeback, and senior doggies who have hip difficulties and special diets. Our own dog is a 3.5 year old Aussie-beagle, so we particularly love the herding dogs. :) We both have lots of experience working with dogs of all kinds of temperaments and needs, especially high energy dogs who require a lot of attention and care, and administering medication to dogs who have special needs. Rachel also loves cooking her home cooked meals for her dog, and can do that for yours too, if you need! We both work from home and have all weekends free. Our flexible schedules together allows us to bring dogs regularly on walks and to look after them consistently. We follow instructions really well, and can take care of your dog according to your requirements. We allow dogs to roam and sleep freely in our home, but we can also crate your dog easily if you prefer. We know how to work with your dog with lots of gentle care and love.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life, but volunteering is where I really leveled up. Since 2022, I've been a canine companion at the Dane County Humane Society, working hands on with dogs of all kinds of temperaments. I'm actually designated as a "yellow" volunteer there, which means I work with dogs who tend to be more anxious or mouthy, so I've gone through extensive training (4-5+ hours specifically on dog behavior) to learn how to read them and help them feel calm and comfortable. Four years in, I've worked with pretty much every size, breed, and personality type out there. I've recently surpassed 300 hours of service! As for cats, I have two of my own, one is an absolute sweetheart and the other keeps me on my toes, so I know exactly how to work with cats who need a little extra patience and TLC. I'm looking forward to meeting your babies and caring for them like they're my own! Pet care fits easily into my routine. On weekdays, I'm usually done with work by 5pm, so I'm available for evening walks and dinner drop-ins. I'm also open to early mornings if needed, just with a little advance notice since I like to keep my calendar updated and make sure I can actually commit. Weekends I have more flexibility overall for walks, drop-ins, or whatever care is needed. When caring for pets in a client's home, I always start by carefully reading through everything the owner sends me so I can follow their guidelines as closely as possible. I take notes right from the first introduction. I also love doing a drop-by visit before the actual care starts, just to get familiar with the house (how to get in, where everything is) and do a quick meet and greet with the pet while the owner's still there. That way they can get comfortable with me instead of just having a stranger show up. During that visit, I pay attention to the pet's temperament so I know how to adjust when I enter and how to engage with them. I also make sure I know their favorite toys, what and how much they eat, any medications, and anything else important. My goal is always to be knowledgeable, calm, and to match the pet's energy rather than force my own.

I’m currently working part time, so very flexible with the times and days that I am available to help out with your cats or dogs! About: I've had dogs of all shapes and sizes my entire life as well as having two cats. With my most recent dog, I took it upon myself to care for and train starting when I was 14. Open all day on the weekends and can do weekdays after 5:30. Looking to help out busy people with their furry friends. Schedule can be moved around with enough notice I love playing with dogs and have no fear when interacting. Don’t mind playful/energetic dogs and will play with them if desired. About: I’m a pre veterinary student, and I intern at an urgent care vet clinic, which gave me a lot of experience understanding important health signs, but also has taught me to be comfortable with dogs of all energy levels, personality, etc. Additionally, I am a dog walker at a local shelter. I’m comfortable giving meds, helping with senior pets, and making sure every pet feels safe and loved. Whether your pup needs playtime, slow walks, or just some good snuggles, I’ve got it covered! I am currently interning part time and well as volunteering at a local shelter, but I have lots of free time this summer!. I have time during the days for walks and check ins and am so eager to spend the time I have in the area helping where I can! I have a dog that absolutely loves playing! He is very small, but he gets along with dogs of all sizes and can play in my fenced in yard! If I am at your home, I will adjust to match the energy of your pet, and ensure they feel safe and comfortable while providing them with proper care.

About: Animals have been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember—from growing up around my family’s German Shepherd breeding and training work, to years of rescuing and fostering both dogs and cats. I can provide continuous supervision, regular potty and play breaks, and plenty of outdoor exercise tailored to each dog's energy level and temperament. My home currently includes one calm, dog-friendly resident cat, making for a peaceful, low-stress environment where guest dogs receive focused care and affection. I have worked with senior dogs and cats as well as puppies and kittens. I am experienced with administering medications and experienced with disabled dogs. I work remotely and am home full-time with a flexible work schedule. I can provide 24/7 care for your dog or cat. I am also available for walks throughout the day and week. While boarding in my home, I am able to be available for feeding or potty breaks as needed. I am able to watch the dog or cat to see what they need when. If I am providing drop in visits or walks, my schedule is flexible. I am available during the day and evenings.

I am a college student who is busy for some part of the morning and afternoon but can drop in about three times a day. In my own home, I have two cats and grew up with two dogs. Frequent walks for the dogs and enrichment for the cats are a staple.
