About: Eric and Rachel share a love for their beloved Aussie-beagle Lilo and fostering rescue dogs together. We know that it is never easy to leave your beloved dog with someone new, and in a new place. As our own Lilo has struggled with separation anxiety before, we know how important it is to have a pet sitter who is present, patient, and able to cater their care towards a dog’s specific needs. Rachel has taken care of 6 different family dogs growing up, including a border collie, golden retriever, Boston terrier, 2 mixed breeds and a silky terrier. Eric has taken care of his family dog (chihuahua minpin) since birth till now (11 years old). Together, we have fostered 22 rescue dogs these past two years, ranging from a high energy Great Pyrenees to 3 Border Collie puppies all at once, to a completely afraid and anxious Beagle mama and Shiba Inu mama that are recovering from very difficult situations. We have also looked after American pit bulls, large Newfoundlands and a Rhodesian Ridgeback, and senior doggies who have hip difficulties and special diets. Our own dog is a 3.5 year old Aussie-beagle, so we particularly love the herding dogs. :) We both have lots of experience working with dogs of all kinds of temperaments and needs, especially high energy dogs who require a lot of attention and care, and administering medication to dogs who have special needs. Rachel also loves cooking her home cooked meals for her dog, and can do that for yours too, if you need! We both work from home and have all weekends free. Our flexible schedules together allows us to bring dogs regularly on walks and to look after them consistently. We follow instructions really well, and can take care of your dog according to your requirements. We allow dogs to roam and sleep freely in our home, but we can also crate your dog easily if you prefer. We know how to work with your dog with lots of gentle care and love.

About: I have taken care of pets for 10 years now! I have experience with all sizes of dogs and puppies. My family and neighbors have relied on me to make sure their pets are cared for while they’re away. I am a college student so I have a lot of flexibility when it comes to taking care of pups in the evenings and between classes on weekdays. I am not available on most weekends. I will treat your pet and home with respect and ensure they are cared for. I think it is very important for pups to be comfortable in their environment.

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was old enough to know what a pet was, whether it’s my own, a neighbor’s, or a friend/family member’s. I love animals, and am considering going into vet work! I have experience with both puppies/kittens and seniors as well :). I can walk, feed, give meds, and do anything you need! I’m a full-time student during the week, but I will always have time to drop-in, or stay overnight. I’m very flexible with my scheduling, so I will happily do whatever you and your pet need! While I can’t offer boarding at my home because I have four roommates, I will care for pets in every way possible no matter what! I know some nice parks for walks, and I’m also happy to chill if they’re a homebody! Again, entirely up to you and your pets needs :)

About: I have had dogs since my childhood and have worked with breeds of different sizes and backgrounds, including some with special needs. In my home life, I have two cats that I adore and spend much of my free time with. I’m available all day on weekends, as well as from 5:30pm onward on weekdays (typically). About: Hello! I study Vet Science at UW Madison and have extensive experience in both dog and cat humane societies, kennels, and have had dogs my whole life and cats for 3 years now. My dogs Jojo and Jagger are very energetic, and Indy is my tortie and the love of my life :) I am always available to talk and will respond quickly to messages! I am available weekends and weekdays, daily hours depending on my class schedule and your availability. I love to engage with pets and learn their body language, I will always have a ball or stick while walking your dog, but also understand when they need a break. My priority is making them feel as at home as possible, while earning experience in the field I love. I have patience for both cats and dogs, and will watch carefully to not over pet, play, or initiate with shy animals. About: I've had dogs of all shapes and sizes my entire life as well as having two cats. With my most recent dog, I took it upon myself to care for and train starting when I was 14. Open all day on the weekends and can do weekdays after 5:30. Looking to help out busy people with their furry friends. Schedule can be moved around with enough notice I love playing with dogs and have no fear when interacting. Don’t mind playful/energetic dogs and will play with them if desired. About: I have over two years of experience with dog walking and dog sitting, along with professional experience working at a dog grooming facility and dog hotel. I was responsible for caring for dogs staying at the hotel, making sure they were safe, comfortable, and well cared for during their stay. I’m also a dog owner myself! I have three dogs: Liah, a Shih Tzu, and Lilo and Lady, two Australian Labradoodles. About: I have taken care of large Akitas my whole life. They were very difficult to walk and struggle with other dogs so plenty of experience with more difficult walkers. I also currently live with a Jack Russell! Recent UVA Law graduate waiting for my job to start in January so available almost any time of day. Need more of a heads up for last minute walks to make sure I can be there, but other than that I am a trustworthy young adult with a lot of time on her hands! Handle everything I do with extreme care. I will make sure to treat your pet with the upmost care and concern necessary for any walk or check-in.

About: I’ve taken care of a variety of animals including cats and dogs throughout my life. These animals have had varying temperaments and care requirements giving me a range of care experiences. I am a college student who is busy for some part of the morning and afternoon but can drop in about three times a day. In my own home, I have two cats and grew up with two dogs. Frequent walks for the dogs and enrichment for the cats are a staple.
