About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of every size and breed since I was a 14. I grew up in Alaska so there were more safety concerns when taking animals out for their walks. I know to take great care of your furry family member. I’ currently working from home and volunteer coaching volleyball. I would love to take your dog on daily walks to the coffee shop and ensure that they will receive lots of love and attention! There is an open space dedicated at my apartment for dogs to do their business and I have a closed in patio if they need some fresh air. I have no problem crating your dog if needed but I wouldn’t mind letting a pup on the couch!

About: I have a family dog that has been around since my elementary school days, so I have experience taking care of him from both his time as a puppy and an elder currently! I walk my friend’s dog often and he’s a doggie with a whole bunch of energy. I have some extra time on my hands in between jobs and would love to help out where I can! I currently am looking for something new, so I can stick to a weekly schedule if need be. I am also open for pop ins on one off occasions if there is something new on your schedule! I currently have an apartment with an no-pet policy, but I am open for pop-by to see your furry friend. I can make sure to refill their water bowl, give them some dinner, spend some time playing to make them feel some love, and hang out a little if they’ve been lonely all day.

About: I have had cats for more than half of my life and dog-sat for around the same amount of time. I used to dog sit two huskies all the time, had a dog of my own for a short time, and have experience dog sitting for labs as well! I have even taken care of a bearded dragon and snake on multiple occasions. Rover does not list animals other than cats and dogs directly but I am happy to arrange care for another animal as well, including exotic animals, for a fee that can be discussed. I am volunteering at the humane society and am very involved in caring for animals as much as I have time for. I am excited and ready to care for any and all pets that need it and will stick to specific details given. I won't hesitate to ask questions about the care of your pets when I have them to make sure your pet gets the utmost care and love while you're away or busy, and id yoy have plants that need watering, say the word and I'll do that too! I am currently full time in senior year of high-school and volunteering for two hours a week on the weekends, but I graduate in a month and will have all the time in the world to pet sit! I follow every instruction for food, water, walk, and treats and ask questions if I am unsure of something. I tend to stay longer than needed for check in visits just to give pets some company if I have the time. Unless pets are not very social, they will get all kinds of attention, and if they have any anxiety or behavioral differences I will be very careful and act however is best for them. I am very sure to be on time for visits and will be very specific to follow instructions for walking or being taken outside.

My large dog is very sweet once you know him but has a protective streak that can make initial meetings difficult. However, Mallory instantly put him at ease and clearly knows when to give dogs space and how to best approach. My dog loves her and I always feel comfortable leaving him in her care. 100% recommend!”
About: I love dogs. My family has had dogs since I was a young kid. I also have experience as a dog sitter/walker for previous bosses. I'm a recent graduate of UW-Madison. Flexible schedule for at least the next three months. I am working another part time job with flexible hours. I would prefer notice for sitting bookings. I have experience with basic dog training, and have an authoritative manor when working with dogs, as well as really enjoying and having fun with dogs. I bike as my main transportation so I am very mobile in the summer/warm weather months. Ideally I'd like to have a regular walking/sitting schedule, but I'm happy to do overnights/dog sitting while owners are on vacation or need occasional help with their dog. I’m currently in between jobs! I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule currently to add both daytime and overnight pet care needs. My schedule will continue to be flexible through summer 2026. I have a number of beautiful dog friendly trail locations that I like to take dogs for longer walks. Otherwise if you’re looking for a short walk I’m happy to take your pup around the block! About: I have always loved animals. I was the kid that would bring stray animals home asking my parents if I could keep them. I have always had dogs in my family homes. I graduated from Iowa State University with an Animal Science degree in May of 2016. I have dog sat for other families in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area. I honestly love dog sitting and I have even taken care of some turtles and tortoises. I don’t really think of pet sitting as a job, but rather an opportunity to provide a safe and loving environment for your family pets while you are on vacation or if you have other obligations. Robert couldn’t have been better! He took great care of my high-needs pup and she made it through our longest getaway just fine. She was given multiple walks per day and plenty of outside time. We were delighted with all of our experiences with Manu and how she cared for our dog, Bella for four days. Manu doesn’t just love dogs! She is knowledgeable about dog health, behavior and training as well as being very perceptive about a dog’s needs. Even before Manu started, she made sure that she had all the information she needed. Then when she had a question she spoke with our contact person. Then while we were away, she sent us s wonderful stream of photos of her playing with, walking and exploring with Bella. Bella was clearly very happy about being with Manu when we picked Bella up. We all feel confident that we left Bella in good hands and hope to work with her again. Marcela was great! She stepped in at the last minute to house-sit for us when our dog was sick and unable to go and hang out with the friends he usually sees when we are away. The pictures and videos she sent showed that 2 of our 3 creatures were not concerned at all that we had left. The third animal is a brat, and Marcela made sure to give her space and make sure her basic needs were met, which is the highest level of care she will tolerate. We returned to happy pets and the house had been well taken care of. Thanks Marcela!
Jeanette was wonderful with our dogs. She came by for a meet-and-greet before our week long trip so they could get comfortable with her ahead of time, which we really appreciated. She was a great communicator throughout the stay, sending regular updates and photos that gave us real peace of mind while we were traveling. There was also a thunderstorm while we were away, and Jeanette was especially patient with our anxious dog, making sure she felt safe and comfortable.
