“Samantha was phenomenal! She provided great communication and provided good updates with my dog. She took amazing care of him. I had her housesitting for me and she was extremely respectful of my apartment as well. I would absolutely have Samantha help me out again!”

“Alexander was able to provide comprehensive and complete care of my senior pup on really sudden notice. I was so glad to receive regular food, walk, and medicine updates. And came back to find my dog well taken care of he was in great hands.”

“Absolutely wonderful experience! Our pups were happy and calm when we returned home from a long afternoon/evening away. Tatyana definitely understands how to handle large, rambunctious (and love and adorable) dogs. She sent me pics throughout the evening as well, which was so lovely to receive.”

“Isaac was very good with our critters, including our 20 year old cat. The dogs seemed to have a great time too. He was considerate with the house, cleaning up after himself and brought in a package that was delivered early without me needing to ask. We would rebook with Isaac.”

“Mallory has been amazing! She has watched my dog twice now and each time has gone very smoothly. My large dog is very sweet once you know him but has a protective streak that can make initial meetings difficult. However, Mallory instantly put him at ease and clearly knows when to give dogs space and how to best approach. My dog loves her and I always feel comfortable leaving him in her care. 100% recommend!”

“Kaitlyn was great with the dogs right from the meet and greet. She handled their different personalities and medical needs perfectly. She did all that was asked and more. Thank you for allowing me the peace of mind to enjoy this week with friends!!”

“Elizabeth was amazing with my dog while I was traveling for work. She sent daily updates and many pictures. I would definitely use her services again.”

“Isabel is definitely a 5-star sitter. Sent pictures daily of our dog, followed all directions left for her. She went above and beyond caring for our dog who needed daily medication. Great communication. Sadie was somewhat shy at first but it didn’t take long to warm up to Isabel. Definitely recommend and will rebook her as needed.”

About: I grew up with cats my entire life, and have ample experience caring for my own and catsitting for friends and clients! I absolutely adore every cat I meet and put every effort into making your kitties feel as comfortable and cared for as possible. I understand how incredibly stressful it can be to leave your pet when going out of town, having experienced it myself, and so I aim to be as communicative as possible to make sure you and your pets feel comfortable. My previous clients can vouch that I send a lotttt of pictures and videos of their pets to them when they are away so they can rest assured that their pets are healthy & happy. My mindset is to give the best possible care while you are away, the same as I would with my own pet. Cats communicate a lot with their body language–I am always mindful of this to ensure I am interacting with them exactly how they prefer. If your kitties are cuddly and friendly, I'll give them as many pets as they want–if they're more reserved, I'll respect their boundaries and allow them to warm up to me over time if they wish. In addition, I have experience caring for my own cat with kidney disease. I am comfortable administering subcutaneous fluids (I did so every day with my own kitty) and topical ear medications. I am also well-versed in every possible strategy for encouraging reluctant kitties to eat, for those experiencing health issues that impact appetite, struggle to eat enough, or are generally picky! I'm a graduate student with availability after 6pm on weekdays, and all day on Saturdays & Sundays during the semester. Depending on the distance from where I'm located, I am also available for morning drop-ins (before 9am) on weekdays. From May–August, and over my winter break, my availability is much more flexible and I'm able to make drop-in visits in the middle of the day. I'm happy to spend time with your kitty wherever they prefer to be in your home and wherever you are comfortable with me being–whether this means sitting with them on the floor, running around together playing with a toy, or just sitting and enjoying one another's company.
“Askley dog sitted at our house for the weekend. She was very responsive to initial inquiry as well as continued communication. She was professional yet very friendly and asked appropriate questions about our dogs . Our dogs are quite a handful but she developed a fast relationship with them. She sent pictures and brief update daily. So glad we found an amazing caregiver thru Rover!”

“Leah did an amazing job for us both pet sitting and house sitting! She was an excellent communicator and flexible with us since we had an unanticipated home repair come up while we were away. Our dogs loved her, and she was a conscientious and considerate caretaker. I would not hesitate to hire Leah again.”

“Scott was our first introduction to Rover. We really appreciated that he could come on short notice to sit with our 22-week old puppy. We loved Scott's relaxed and gentle way with our dog who is so excited to meet someone new, but is still in manners training in how to greet people. Scott quickly picked up on what we were trying to teach and went along with that routine. Scott arrived on the dot of our agreed time and we plan to ask him to come again!”

About: I grew up in a dog-centered household and have hands-on experience with dogs at every life stage. My family ran a caring, ethical puppy business, where I helped provide round-the-clock care for four litters of puppies— assisting with births, feeding, cleaning, socializing, and early training. Because of this experience, I'm especially comfortable with young puppies, routines, and basic training. I'm no stranger to abundant patience and close supervision! I've also had many senior dogs in my family and am experienced in providing gentle, thoughtful care for older pets who need extra support. I've helped pets through health challenges as well, including illness and post-surgery recovery. Now that I've moved out of my childhood home, I truly miss being surrounded by animals and would love the opportunity to care for yours! Whether it's companionship and snuggles or structured routines and medical care, I love making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well-loved. Monday-Wednesday I work during the day and attend evening grad classes, so drop-in times are limited but still possible. Thursday and Friday I typically work 8am-4pm, so I’m available for evening visits and/or overnight care. Weekends and holidays are generally open for drop-ins or overnights as well. As a grad student preparing to be a teacher, my schedule can vary slightly week to week, but I’m always upfront about my availability and happy to coordinate around your needs! I prioritize safety and comfort for every pet in my care. During house sitting or drop-ins, I respect your privacy and belongings while keeping your home secure, treating your space as I would want a pet sitter to treat mine. I’m an avid rule and routine follower, so please don’t hesitate to share details about your pet and home! On walks, I maintain constant supervision and stay attentive to my surroundings to keep pets safe. I’m experienced with anxious animals and know how to monitor stress and respond appropriately. I’m committed to making sure your pet stays safe, comfortable, and happy, and I provide updates so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands!
“Ashley did a great job pet sitting for Tallee! She has been having seizures and Ashely was confident and willing to stay with her at my home. It really helped me enjoy my time away without worrying too much, knowing she was there with Tallee. I'm so happy to have her help!”

About: Growing up I have always been around animals. Ive had dumbo rats, fish, cats, and dogs, so I've had a variety! I have been a regular dog walker & cat sitter for several families since I was a freshman in HS. I am currently a Youth Apprentice at Four Lakes Vet which has taught me so much about how to care for animals and learn more about the world of Veterinary Medicine. I am currently a Senior in High School and plan on attending college in the fall. I am typically available after school around 4pm-11pm. On weekends or holiday break I'm pretty flexible for any time, and would be available for overnight care if needed! During the summer I coach a swim team in the morning and will work at Four Lakes Vet, however the hours are still up in the air for that and It can be pretty flexible. When caring for animals in my home I am very affectinate and attetnivde to what they need and when they need it. For clients pets I make sure I am following the correct instructions and because I'm Fear Free certified from working at Four Lakes Vet, I make sure to not overwhelm the pet. I am usually very good and monitoring their anxiety or stress levels and make sure to respect boundaries! I also make sure to respect the privacy throughout the home of the clients as well!

“Nate house sat for our 2 dogs and 1 cat while we were away for a week. He was really wonderful - sent regular photos and updates, took the dogs to the dog park several times, and left the house in great shape. We absolutely recommend him and will definitely rebook with him in the future!”

“Ashley was wonderful - came all the way to us for a meet and greet and gave good vibes right away. Before our event, she came on time and provided updates and we felt very reassured. Our pup also loved her right away. Would recommend!”

“We feel so lucky to have found Travis - he is so responsible, conscientious, and fantastic with our dog. We have had him sit for us a few times now and will continue to request his services as often as possible! Our house gives him two thumbs, and two paws up!”

Glendale pet parents share their Rover experiences
Scott really helped us out with a week of drop-in visits for our two dogs, one of which is rather unpleasant with strangers. He also agreed to oversee our coop of chickens which was very helpful. Scott was accomodating and generally a good communicator, and the pups seemed to like him. I think he did a fine job. We would definitely work with Scott again.

Edwin was a great dog sitter for Cosmo. He communicated with us very promptly and often. He sent pictures a few times a day and Cosmo always looked happy and content. Edwin left our house clean and in order. We would happily have him to take care of Cosmo again!

Anna is thoughtful, proactive, very capable and caring - she was a wonderful caregiver for my fur baby! She handled unexpected needs with grace, including being willing to fill out detailed daily note sheets because my kitty was needing to start a new medication. She also left my apartment cleaner than she found it and took initiative to change the sheets so that I'd come home to fresh ones. Very kind! She sent pics of my sweet kitty and took great care of him. He was super cuddly with her within a couple days, and they got along great. Highly recommend working with Anna to care for your fur baby (& plants & home)!

This is the first vacation we've been on where we didn't worry about our cat at all! Elise took excellent care of our cat and our house. We really enjoyed her updates and photos. We think our cat actually misses Elise, he was wandering around looking for her and whining when we got home. :) We will definitely book again! Thanks Elise!
