“Robert was our first experience here at Rover and he was great to work with. He offer to come to our house earlier to meet with our guys, even though our booking was kinda last minute. Our dogs suffers from separation anxiety and are very vocal, but Robert was very patient with them and won them over. We would definitely recommend him to anybody looking for somebody reliable to watch over their pets and we would love to work with him again!”

About: I’ve had animals for my entire life and have learned how to take care of them since I was a kid. Throughout the course of my life I’ve had about 8 dogs and over 20 cats. My mom is also a foster parent for a local rescue so she’s had about 100 animals come through her home over the past few years that I’ve been able to interact with and help take care of. All breeds and ages as well :) I’m currently a graduate student and working part time, but my schedule can be flexible as long as there are a few days advanced notice. My weekends can also be flexible, with notice. I will not be taking care of pets in my home, as I don’t have a fenced in yard and also have two cats that aren’t very friendly to visitors. I am committed to keeping your pets safe and following whatever rules or routines you have in place for your pets, as well as provide updates and pictures while I’m caring for your pet.
“Askley dog sitted at our house for the weekend. She was very responsive to initial inquiry as well as continued communication. She was professional yet very friendly and asked appropriate questions about our dogs . Our dogs are quite a handful but she developed a fast relationship with them. She sent pictures and brief update daily. So glad we found an amazing caregiver thru Rover!”

“Mary was wonderful. It was obvious my dog, Cedar, was at ease with her and well cared for. Mary left notes about Cedar’s meal times and bathroom breaks as well as sending pictures and comments in the app. Everything went 110% smoothly and I didn’t have any concerns or worries at all while away which is a great feeling. Thank you! We hope to book again in the future.”

“Nate did an excellent job watching our pup while we were gone for a week. He was patient and affectionate with her and took her with him when he went out and about. He even was cool with starting super early in the morning and finishing late at night! We’ll definitely be calling on him again.”
“Tatyana is a reliable and caring sitter. She stayed at our house with our 11.5-year-old German Shepherd and provided excellent care, and tremendous peace of mind for us. Having worked at a kennel previously, she is comfortable around all types of dogs (and ours is a big boy). She sent periodic updates and followed our instructions well. We highly recommend her for short or extended care.”

“Katy is so wonderful that I have to leave a second review. We’ve been going through a big transition and Katy continues to meet each of my boys where they are at. Her hyper awareness, consideration, and kindness allow me to travel and not stress about any of the boys.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of every size and breed since I was a 14. I grew up in Alaska so there were more safety concerns when taking animals out for their walks. I know to take great care of your furry family member. I’ currently working from home and volunteer coaching volleyball. I would love to take your dog on daily walks to the coffee shop and ensure that they will receive lots of love and attention! There is an open space dedicated at my apartment for dogs to do their business and I have a closed in patio if they need some fresh air. I have no problem crating your dog if needed but I wouldn’t mind letting a pup on the couch!
“It was so nice to know we had a reliable, kind and experienced pet sitter! Amy took care of our two dogs, cat, and gecko and sent great pictures during her stay. We were lucky to have her!”

“Ashley did a great job pet sitting for Tallee! She has been having seizures and Ashely was confident and willing to stay with her at my home. It really helped me enjoy my time away without worrying too much, knowing she was there with Tallee. I'm so happy to have her help!”

“Katie is amazing!! We have 2 very energetic dogs and she made sure to take them on a good walk and play in the backyard multiple times to get their energy out! Our one dog even had some tummy issues and she made him chicken and rice 🥹 we trust Katie with our pups and will definitely utilize her again!”

“Elizabeth was wonderful with Ollie! He took to her right away. She sent lots of pics which I appreciated! She also took great care of my home. Would highly recommend!!”

“Louisa and her daughter Samantha are wonderful. I had to book them last minute, they were flexible, on time, and respectfully did what I asked them to do! They are very patient with my 7 yr old lab and my 9 week old lab puppy (we all know how naughty and energetic they can be). I received several updates during their overnight stay, and both of my girls were very content when I got home from work. Definitely would recommend them!”

About: I have had cats for more than half of my life and dog-sat for around the same amount of time. I used to dog sit two huskies all the time, had a dog of my own for a short time, and have experience dog sitting for labs as well! I have even taken care of a bearded dragon and snake on multiple occasions. Rover does not list animals other than cats and dogs directly but I am happy to arrange care for another animal as well, including exotic animals, for a fee that can be discussed. I am volunteering at the humane society and am very involved in caring for animals as much as I have time for. I am excited and ready to care for any and all pets that need it and will stick to specific details given. I won't hesitate to ask questions about the care of your pets when I have them to make sure your pet gets the utmost care and love while you're away or busy, and id yoy have plants that need watering, say the word and I'll do that too! I am currently full time in senior year of high-school and volunteering for two hours a week on the weekends, but I graduate in a month and will have all the time in the world to pet sit! I follow every instruction for food, water, walk, and treats and ask questions if I am unsure of something. I tend to stay longer than needed for check in visits just to give pets some company if I have the time. Unless pets are not very social, they will get all kinds of attention, and if they have any anxiety or behavioral differences I will be very careful and act however is best for them. I am very sure to be on time for visits and will be very specific to follow instructions for walking or being taken outside.
“Ashley was wonderful - came all the way to us for a meet and greet and gave good vibes right away. Before our event, she came on time and provided updates and we felt very reassured. Our pup also loved her right away. Would recommend!”

About: Growing up I have always been around animals. I've had dumbo rats, fish, cats, and dogs, so I've had a variety! I have been a regular dog walker & cat sitter for several families since I was a freshman in HS. My senior year of High School I was a Youth Apprentice at Four Lakes Vet which taught me so much about how to care for animals and learn more about the world of Veterinary Medicine. I'm currently a sophomore at University of Wisconsin-Madison studying Animal and Veterinary Biosciences! I am currently a sophomore at University of Wisconsin-Madison studying Animal and Veterinary Biosciences. During summer, spring, and winter breaks I am typically very available for any kind of pet sitting. During the summer I coach a swim team in the evenings and the first part of my Saturdays are usually busy until 1-2pm due to coaching swim meets for the team. When caring for animals in my home I am very affectinate and attetnivde to what they need and when they need it. For clients pets I make sure I am following the correct instructions and because I'm Fear Free certified from working at Four Lakes Vet, I make sure to not overwhelm the pet. I am usually very good and monitoring their anxiety or stress levels and make sure to respect boundaries! I also make sure to respect the privacy throughout the home of the clients as well!
“We were very pleased with Karina house sitting for us! She asks about specific commands, dietary needs, and preferences of our dog, which was incredibly sweet and thoughtful. She also provides detailed updates and appears to really adore and read pup personalities well. We would highly recommend Karina and will definitely reach out to her again!”

“Mallory has been amazing! She has watched my dog twice now and each time has gone very smoothly. My large dog is very sweet once you know him but has a protective streak that can make initial meetings difficult. However, Mallory instantly put him at ease and clearly knows when to give dogs space and how to best approach. My dog loves her and I always feel comfortable leaving him in her care. 100% recommend!”

It is such a relief to know that my dog is safe and happy with Seanna while I travel! He is so comfortable with her, and I can tell he loves his time with her. Seanna takes amazing care of him, meeting him where he’s at. She sends tons of updates and photos, which are the highlights of my travel days. I would recommend Seanna to everyone.

Marcela was great! She stepped in at the last minute to house-sit for us when our dog was sick and unable to go and hang out with the friends he usually sees when we are away. The pictures and videos she sent showed that 2 of our 3 creatures were not concerned at all that we had left. The third animal is a brat, and Marcela made sure to give her space and make sure her basic needs were met, which is the highest level of care she will tolerate. We returned to happy pets and the house had been well taken care of. Thanks Marcela!

Jeanette was wonderful with our dogs. She came by for a meet-and-greet before our week long trip so they could get comfortable with her ahead of time, which we really appreciated. She was a great communicator throughout the stay, sending regular updates and photos that gave us real peace of mind while we were traveling. There was also a thunderstorm while we were away, and Jeanette was especially patient with our anxious dog, making sure she felt safe and comfortable. We returned home to a tidy house and very happy dogs. We would book Jeanette again and recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful, reliable sitter.

Scott really helped us out with a week of drop-in visits for our two dogs, one of which is rather unpleasant with strangers. He also agreed to oversee our coop of chickens which was very helpful. Scott was accomodating and generally a good communicator, and the pups seemed to like him. I think he did a fine job. We would definitely work with Scott again.
