About: I've lived alongside pets my whole life, and have volunteered for hundreds of hours at various animal shelters. I have experience with both dogs and cats of all sizes and ages. I also love long walks, beaches not required, and am perfect for those high energy dogs that never seem to tire out. I am a nurse working a swing shift so I am up at hours, on an ever-changing schedule. This means that I can care for your furry little ones on a short notice, and even check in on them at night if you are away. I only have a small apartment at the moment, unsuited for pets of my own or for yours. I will change this information as my circumstances change.

About: I have been helping my family take care of our amazing black lab, Griffon, for the last 6 years. i love to exercise so i take multiple walk per day! I love walking dogs because it’s a chance to bond with my own dog while enjoying the outdoors. It’s a great way to get some exercise, clear my mind, and see the joy in my dog’s face as we explore together. Every walk is a new adventure, and I enjoy making those special moments with my furry friend. i walk my dog everyday and am free a lot of the time on weekends as I am a senior in high school and a server and a restaurant. i love to play with dogs and meet new animals and their owners! i love to help when people ever need a break with life or are just busy

About: I have had pets my entire life, both cats and dogs. I raised my two current cats from kittens and helped train my family dog as a puppy (she’s now 7). The past few years my family has been part of a program where we train a puppy for two weeks before sending them off to their forever home. I am currently working a part time job with a pretty flexible schedule so with notice i can be available weekdays or weekends to have plenty of time with your pet(s)! I have an apartment with three lovely cats (2 are mine, 1 is my roommates). They all grew up around dogs and are very tolerant.

When staying at the FCH staff is on call 24/7 in addition to our rooms being equipped with a 360-degree pet camera so you can always ensure your furry family members are happy and healthy at a moment's notice. We are trained in all methods of medication administration and are Pet CPR certified. Drop-ins may include dogs; however, for the mental well-being of our guests, there are no dogs on the FCH premises. Pet Care is my full-time passion and profession! With full availability for play and enrichment at the FCH premises or during drop-in visits, you can be sure our guests get the love and attention they deserve. This also allows us to arrange a full-service experience as our (fancy) cat shuttle is affordable and time-flexible with pick-up/drop-off. We believe quality cat care should be easy and painless, both for our guests and their owners. The Fancy Cat Hotel is located in an extremely safe and quiet neighborhood away from the main road and surrounded by wildlife for our guests' enjoyment. Rooms are double-secured by a door and a tall gate. We provide a whole host of amenities during their stay, including a wide variety of cat trees, scratchers, toys, beds, hammocks and perches. As well as feliway calming pheromone diffusers, windows for bird watching and sun bathing, water fountains and churus (squeeze treats) as refreshments, and Cat TV for entertainment.

About: Growing up, I adored the family cat and dog, and was responsible for their care throughout my teen years. Cuddles and Fidget were a bonded pair who lived long, happy lives and passed within months of each other in 2020 while I was in lockdown abroad (I’m so not over it). As an adult renter, circumstances have not yet allowed me to have a dog or cat of my own. I turned to pet sitting as a way to continue connecting with these precious creatures who have so much to teach us about stillness, acceptance and the art of living in the moment. I also love reptile friends such as snakes and geckos! My work as an artist allows me great scheduling flexibility. This gives me the freedom to check in on your pets as often as they need, and keep them company throughout the day and night. Your pets are my top priority when they are in my care. I watch pets in their own home where they feel safest and can continue their routines as uninterrupted as possible during their primary caregivers absence. I talk to them and interact with them like they are my close friends - they get to know all my secrets! Having written instructions to refer back to during the stay, which are discussed beforehand with an opportunity for questions and clarification, is extremely helpful in understanding how to provide the best care possible.
