About: I’m an incoming veterinary student and pet owner. I’ve grown up taking care of my cat and dog and love spending my time with animals. I have worked as a veterinary assistant for the past 3 years. Daily dog walks are an important part of my routine and I have a flexible schedule. I love meeting new people and animals on the island! I have experience with dogs of all sizes and am an active person. I also keep my dog leashed and am amenable to dog’s specific needs.

“I needed some last minute help with my senior dog, and Alissa responded back quickly and was able to help me out!! She came to meet our pets and get the layout, and helped us out almost right away! She is very kind and gentle with our Murphy and even gives our two cats some loving even though we booked her for a dog walk! As someone with OCD and anxiety, my brain and body feel comfortable and safe with Alissa taking care of our senior puppy when we aren’t at home. About: I have experience caring for cats and dogs of different personalities and energy levels, and I’m comfortable with walks, feeding schedules, playtime, medication routines, and giving pets lots of attention and affection while you’re away. I know every pet has different needs, so I always try to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their normal routine. I am willing to do walks and drop-ins throughout the day. I am already walking and active so having a pet companion is a happy addition for me. I respect the wishes of each specific owner. About: I’ve owned dogs, cats, horses for years. No job is too big. I used to work in veterinary medicine as a technician. I am comfortable with medications, injections, subcutaneous fluids, etc. I currently work full time at Labcorp. I am able to stop morning and evenings around work and then more on weekends! If you need services overnight I do try to check on my kitties before settling in with your pet for the night. In the client home I am very respectful of spaces and leave it as found. I will follow all rules both for myself and for your pet. Your and your pets trust, safety, and comfortableness is my number priority.

About: I’ve been surrounded by and taken care of animals since I was a toddler. I grew up with all sorts of animals in the home from Guinea pigs and bunnies to dogs and birds! I’ve pet sat on occasion including dogs and cats as well as chickens and horses! I’m currently self employed and am taking on work through Rover to support my business as I’ve experienced a transition with work over the past few months. This makes me very flexible during the week and weekends. I want to provide an experience that makes you feel comfortable and your pet cared for when you aren’t able to be there. Creating an environment that reflects the care that you give your pets is my priority as a pet owner myself.

About: I love animals! Really, all (except mosquitoes). I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment but I’ve had a lot of experience being a dog/cat guardian and trainer! My philosophy for pets is grounded in responsible stewardship and prioritizing that animals feel safe, relaxed, and cared for. I have a masters and education specialist degree in educational psychology and work with kids with disabilities during the school year. I’m looking for some play and snuggle time while I have time off in the summer! My schedule is pretty open and variable over the summer while school is out. I’m a morning person and can do early, mid-day, and/or evening care. At my home I have a fenced-in back yard and live in a walkable neighborhood (Emerson East in Madison). I love going for good walks and hiking trails with pups. Also have a nice big deck. I’m not picky about pets on furniture in my apartment.
