About: Eric and Rachel share a love for their beloved Aussie-beagle Lilo and fostering rescue dogs together. We know that it is never easy to leave your beloved dog with someone new, and in a new place. As our own Lilo has struggled with separation anxiety before, we know how important it is to have a pet sitter who is present, patient, and able to cater their care towards a dog’s specific needs. Rachel has taken care of 6 different family dogs growing up, including a border collie, golden retriever, Boston terrier, 2 mixed breeds and a silky terrier. Eric has taken care of his family dog (chihuahua minpin) since birth till now (11 years old). Together, we have fostered 22 rescue dogs these past two years, ranging from a high energy Great Pyrenees to 3 Border Collie puppies all at once, to a completely afraid and anxious Beagle mama and Shiba Inu mama that are recovering from very difficult situations. We have also looked after American pit bulls, large Newfoundlands and a Rhodesian Ridgeback, and senior doggies who have hip difficulties and special diets. Our own dog is a 3.5 year old Aussie-beagle, so we particularly love the herding dogs. :) We both have lots of experience working with dogs of all kinds of temperaments and needs, especially high energy dogs who require a lot of attention and care, and administering medication to dogs who have special needs. Rachel also loves cooking her home cooked meals for her dog, and can do that for yours too, if you need! We both work from home and have all weekends free. Our flexible schedules together allows us to bring dogs regularly on walks and to look after them consistently. We follow instructions really well, and can take care of your dog according to your requirements. We allow dogs to roam and sleep freely in our home, but we can also crate your dog easily if you prefer. We know how to work with your dog with lots of gentle care and love.

About: Growing up my parents would not allow me to get a dog. I walked the neighbors dogs and they said that was the same as having my own. Not really. Lol. Since grade school I have watched friends and family's dogs over the course of weekends, and multiple week vacations. I have always wanted a dog but I don't have the time currently due to my career. I have two cats. Baloo the panther looking cat, and Bubba, a pure bred benegal. I have an 8 month old daughter and my fiancée is a teacher, so I need to schedule well in advance. About: Hi! I’m a college student at UW who is super passionate about animals! I love both dogs and cats and have puppies of my own! I will take great care of your animals! About: I’ve grew up with dogs my entire life! I’ve had a couple of rescue fur babies and I have experience with many different unique personalities!:) all animals are loved by me I work remote three times a week and my job is flexible so I’m able to take breaks for walks and play time. About: Hi there! I moved to Fitchburg, WI in 2024 and I’m ready to start pet walking/sitting again. For years in Denver and Boulder, CO and in Lansing, MI, I helped neighbors exercise their dogs by either walking or running them while their owners were at work. For the super active dogs (for example, those who can run 4 min miles), I took them to the park to run while I kept up on roller blades. I've adopted overweight dogs and slowly trained them up to being able to hike two 14ers in a day! I'm also happy to help with simple drop in feedings and potty breaks if need be. If you're in the midst of an especially busy period at work, injured, or going out of town, I'm happy to help out with your pets. I welcome small, big, special needs, overweight, mutts, 'bully' breeds, and everything in between-I love them all. I also have two cats so I’m happy to help check in on your feline friends too. My schedule is currently very flexible, which allows me to accommodate pet care throughout the week. I keep my Rover calendar updated regularly so that my availability is ans accurate as possible. Currently I don’t have the space to sit your dog or cat at my house but I’m happy to go check in on them at your place once or twice (or even 3x) a day as needed. I like to do meet and greets before sitting or walking your pet on my own.

About: I have taken care of large Akitas my whole life. They were very difficult to walk and struggle with other dogs so plenty of experience with more difficult walkers. I also currently live with a Jack Russell! Recent UVA Law graduate waiting for my job to start in January so available almost any time of day. Need more of a heads up for last minute walks to make sure I can be there, but other than that I am a trustworthy young adult with a lot of time on her hands! Handle everything I do with extreme care. I will make sure to treat your pet with the upmost care and concern necessary for any walk or check-in.

About: Former member of UNC-Chapel Hill Puppy Raisers, a student-led organization that works with puppies in partnership with Ears Eyes Nose and Paws of Chapel Hill on their journey to becoming service animals. I’m currently working part time, so very flexible with the times and days that I am available to help out with your cats or dogs! I have no pets currently so full attention will be devoted to your animal! I have grown up with dogs my entire life and feel comfortable handling all sizes and breeds.

About: I am a current college student. I have had dogs since I was 1 while also starting pet sitting at 12. I currently have a dog at home that is my best friend. We love to play frisbee, go on walks, and sunbathe together. I don't have time to have a dog at school, so I would love to help you out with yours! I am currently a full-time student while also working two jobs. I am typically always available before 11:00AM, some mid afternoons depending on location, and always after 3:45. I am also available any time on Friday except between 10:30-1:00PM. I am also available on weekends. I am very punctual and orderly. I am very attentive to animals and their body language, so I feel comfortable catering to your pets' personality. I currently live in a home with two roommates who are very clean and also love animals.

About: I’ve taken care of many kinds of animals for about 4 years now. This is the first time I’m doing this on a site, however, I am very familiar with the needs of dogs and cats and am very open and understanding regarding dogs with specific and unique needs. I have raised 2 female puppies myself and have been entrusted with friends animals as well while they have been away. This is not just a “side gig” for me. Animals really bring me happiness and joy into my life and I don’t see myself enjoying anything more than this! I do have a full time job currently and don’t get home until 5pm on tues-thurs. Mondays and Fridays I work at home. I have off the weekends. I have one ESA dog of my own that would enjoy the company of other dogs in our home! I prefer to bring my pup with me when I house sit, however, if not allowed by the client, I could do house sitting at daytime! Where I spend most of my time with your pet but I wouldn’t sleep overnight at your home as I have a pet at my home.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was around 5 years old. I grew up in the country in Texas and at one point we had around 20 cats and 9 dogs. We took care of the strays that made their way onto our property, and sometimes adopted from shelters and random people. I was taught love and compassion for animals since I was a young child. I continue to embrace the kindness I have in my heart for animals everyday. I’m usually available most of the time, as I don’t have any full time work to tend to. I also do not celebrate holidays which can benefit pet owners very much because they can count on me being available as long as I have not already booked with someone else. I would be wonderful to your pup insuring they get enough potty breaks, walks if you would like, maybe the dog park upon your approval, and even car rides if you’d like! I offer complimentary treats.. I keep some in my home. And of course I would get them approved by my client first. For cats in my clients home, I would do the same things. I would also insure the cat box is clean, and lots of play time if that’s what the kitty likes :-)

About: I've been caring for animals for years, both through personal experience and by helping family members. I currently have a cat of my own and previously cared for my family's beloved dog throughout his entire 14-year life, giving me experience with every stage from playful puppyhood to senior care. I'm also the only sitter my sister trusts to care for her three dogs, so I'm comfortable managing multiple pets at once while making sure each one gets the attention, exercise, and affection they need. I treat every pet as if they were my own and I'm always willing to learn more about a pet's individual needs and temperaments. I think being with pets allows me to be more active, especially when I'm in the coursework mindset. Sometimes my day has a lull in it, but having a pet means that there is a part of my routine that must stay somewhat similar and active. I never mix boarding bookings from different families. I exclusively host one household's pet(s) at a time, ensuring a calmer, safer, and more personalized experience. If your family has multiple dogs or cats, they're always welcome to stay together! Every pet is different, so I adjust my care to match their personality, making sure to keep an eye on their behavior, respect their boundaries, and provide safe, engaging play when they want it.
