Im currently a full-time student at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. This past summer I spent almost every day working at Dogtopia as a canine coach as well as a front desk coordinator! I'm prioritizing my school/classes but I still need my dog fix, so I'm excited to start my journey with Rover!

A typical day
My experience at Dogtopia has taught me a lot about dogs and their behavior! I have learned to pick up some of the smallest cues that a dog expresses. I also learned how to keep a room full of dogs entertained for hours on end by making up fun games, listening to music, and encouraging good behavior!

I've been surrounded by pets my entire life! From my early days walking dogs solo in high school to my recent time working at PetSmart and Dogtopia here in Eau Claire as a canine coach, I've got a knack for handling all sorts of pups. Right now, I've got quite the dynamic duo at home: a hyperactive 2-year-old German Shepherd who's always on edge and a chilled-out 6-year-old Shih Tzu who's the epitome of zen. So, whether it's calming anxious canines or keeping up with playful pups, I've pretty much seen it all!

Sonora was great with my two anxious pups! I felt at ease leaving them in her care. I would definitely book with Sonora again!
Sanora was fantastic! She housesat for my dog and two cats for a long weekend. During the stay she was communicative and let me know how things were going. She also handled a very last minute change in feeding instructions with ease. When I got home, everyone was happy and healthy and the house was in perfect condition :) I would absolutely rebook with Sanora!
Sonora is great with my two dogs. I feel totally comfortable with her staying at the house and watching them while I am gone. You can tell from the first time meeting her that she loves animals. She has great communication and definitely makes you feel peace of mind when you are away. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter. Definitely will book with her again!
Sonora dog and cat sat for us while we were away for a two week vacation. She was diligent about the care and attention to our animals and provided lots of love to make our pets feel comfortable. We trusted her to pet sit and house sit and would be happy to have her back! A true animal lover and responsible individual.
