This was our first time using Rover and leaving Toffee with someone we didn’t know, so we were definitely nervous at first. Toffee had the absolute best time running around in her huge backyard, playing with her kids and her two dogs, and getting so much love and attention. About: Hi! I have experience fostering three cats (at different times) needing specialized medical attention including surgery recovery, wound care, and giving medicine via syringes. Aside from fostering, I have babysit multiple cats for up to a week long. I recently just adopted a 10 year old siamese mix! About: I have always loved animals. I was the kid that would bring stray animals home asking my parents if I could keep them. I have always had dogs in my family homes. I graduated from Iowa State University with an Animal Science degree in May of 2016. I have dog sat for other families in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area. I honestly love dog sitting and I have even taken care of some turtles and tortoises. I don’t really think of pet sitting as a job, but rather an opportunity to provide a safe and loving environment for your family pets while you are on vacation or if you have other obligations. About: I took care of my family's dog until I moved to college, and I really miss having a dog! Rover is perfect because it will allow me to satisfy my love for dogs while fitting with my schedule and helping you. I am also hoping to get a dog in the near future. I enjoy running and walking so having a dog with energy is not a problem as long as they are leash trained. I’m currently working from home full time. I can be flexible on when walks occur but am fairly busy between 8-5 and need some heads up to plan around meetings. I do not have a fenced in yard but will take your dog on frequent walks or as needed if you’re booking that service. I’m careful to follow instructions on how to get into your house for walks and lock up on the way out.
About: I have been caring for dogs since 2013, starting when I was just 9 years old! In 2010, we rescued our first dog, Belle, a rat terrier. In 2021, we adopted another senior dog, Destiny, a miniature poodle, to keep Belle company. Sadly, they both passed away due to old age in 2024. The following summer, my family and I realized how incomplete our lives felt without dogs, so we decide to rescue two more senior dogs, Beanie and Pam! I am heartbroken to say Pam passed away May 17, 2026. My family believes that senior dogs are often overlooked and forgotten, but I love dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds. About: I've had dogs ever since I was a little kid and would do anything for them. I've also worked with dogs for the past 2 years. I have a Rat Terrier of my own and will make sure to treat your dog like they're my own. I'm a student with lots of breaks between my classes meaning I’m usually only gone for less than two hours and I have lots of free time on the weekends. I live near the lake and can take your dog out often as there’s a nice trail along the lake and campus is pedestrian friendly. I live in an apartment, so I’m looking to host dogs who are comfortable in a quieter environment. Since I share walls with neighbors, I’m best suited for dogs who aren’t big barkers. That being said, I love dogs with a personality! A little energy and playfulness is totally welcome, I just ask that barking is kept to a minimum. Dogs are allowed to free roam around the apartment whether I’m with them or gone. If your puppy has energy to burn but knows when to settle down, we’ll get along great! In your own home I will take on any type of dog with any energy level! I will make sure to care for your dog while you are away just as you care for them while you’re in your house. About: I love dogs. My family has had dogs since I was a young kid. I also have experience as a dog sitter/walker for previous bosses. I'm a recent graduate of UW-Madison. Flexible schedule for at least the next three months. I am working another part time job with flexible hours. I would prefer notice for sitting bookings. Normally it takes a bit to warm up to someone, but not the case. She went right to Manu and was very happy and content with her stay. She was loved, played with, and walked. I would highly recommend Manu and if in the area will hire her again. She was someone that I would count on to take excellent care of your fur baby.”
