My parents opened this daycare in the mid 2000s, so I was fortunate enough to be able to come around and help out, or just spend time with the dogs throughout my teen years. From this I was able to gain invaluable hands-on experience with a variety of dogs. My lifelong experience with both dogs and cats ensures that I can provide top-notch care for your furry friends. This means I am able to give potty breaks or food/medication any time of day. However, some week days I play sports in the afternoons. This would only be for an hour or 2 at most, generally between 6-9. I feel very confident in my ability to make sure your pets are safe during my visits! Working with dogs for many years, I have a good sense of what to watch for and how to make sure your animals are happy and healthy. I am constantly aware of mine and your animals surroundings when I am doing a job and I try to be very cautious and attentive in order to make sure they don't get hurt, escape, etc.

When informing him about the issues and the shedding problem , there were no hesitations on what needs to be done to keep up with the grooming. You should have no worries when you hire this person. The communication, the pictures,the condition of my dogand the level of care were outstanding. I was very lucky to find somebody on short notice and appreciate the sensitivity and kindness. About: Since I was little I’ve taken care of many pets! People have relied on me when out of town many times for a puppy and older dogs. I’ve bathed dogs, cut their hair, given medicine, etc.. No matter what it says on here I am always taking new pets! Sometimes this app randomly changes my availability or accessibility. Please ALWAYS REACH OUT!!! About: I try to provide training for your dog using simple commands and treats. I have a corgy. He likes eating poop, so I am firm with him but lovely. I believe I take my time to rub his belly or play with my dog before feeding him or going for a walk. I always keep treats and bags. I currently have a job from home, with a flexible schedule. I always go outside for walk 10 to 20 minutes o play with tennis ball. I used to go outside 2 or 3 times a day. In the morning the firts walk is longer. I have many different toys and a medium-sized blanket if he needs to rest. They can also go on my couch. If he needs more privacy, I have a big cage with blankets and pillows. I live in an apartment with 2 beds to a bath.

About: From second grade until this past year, I grew up taking care of my maltese shih tzu everyday, named Ruby. She was certainly a very spoiled and loved dog! Since she passed just a couple months ago, it's been strange lacking the comfort and company that Ruby always provided me when I was alone- whether that was on long hiking adventures or just relaxing. In spite of her passing, and my overall affection for animals, I'm eagerly looking forward to finding new furry friends to take care of, play with, and join me on my walks! Growing up, I also frequently took care of my neighbor's dogs which gave me experience with all different breeds, sizes, and behaviors of dogs as well as cats. And aside from all my love for Ruby, she was definitely stubborn and picky so I have experience in dealing with difficult dogs, keeping patience, and figuring out how to accommodate each individual dogs needs and personality. Additionally, my sister has been on rover for years and has watched countless dogs and cats through this platform, and I've helped her out a lot, which has obviously provided me with the most relevant experience possible! I will be a junior at UW-Madison, but for now I am enjoying my summer in Madison without classes going on! Therefore, I have plenty of free time and so I'd love to fill it with caring for pets! Living at a prime location in the UW-Madison campus, and having easy access to my car means I can walk or drive to you and your pet and come to your home even if it's outside of campus. Whether your dog likes to loiter around every mailbox we pass on walks, or if they like to run, then I'm the dog walker for them! I'm happy to do a casual stroll and bathroom break, and just as happy to do long, multiple-mile walks. Friends and family have relied on me to take care of their pets when they’ve needed help over the last thirty years or so. I have also worked at a dog kennel where I walked and bathed dogs of all sizes and breeds. And I currently volunteer for the Humane Society where I interact with animals regularly. 😌 I provide doggy daycare - not overnight care - as my cat does not tolerate it well. And I work a 9 to 5 schedule Monday through Friday and I’m fully remote so I have plenty of time to regularly take dogs outside, out into my fenced in yard or to take them for both short and longer walks. I can dog sit any day though I do volunteer for the Humane Society on Friday evenings so they don’t work for me. Also, my rate is for six hours or less and then I charge an additional $5/hour for each hour after that FYI. I have a fenced in yard and can easily crate your dog if desired. I currently have one cat who has lived with a dog in the past, though I typically separate her in what I call her upstairs “kitty apartment” anyway. 😌 I provide doggy daycare - not overnight care - as my cat does not tolerate it well.

“Kara took such good care of River and helped transfer him to a second sitter also. I would highly recommend her to anyone - her dogs were great and had a great yard for him to play and run. She also updated us daily on his shenanigans with pictures and narration. Made me feel so comfortable he was in good hands.”

“Erin was a wonderful, empathetic dogsitter! She watched our girl, Zuki, for six days, and she texted us updates and a few photos until we felt reassured that Zuki was adjusting to a new environment well. Our dog is a rescue, and she has some strange behaviors such as being reluctant to drink water in the house (maybe because an alpha dog “claimed” the water dish at the rescue). Erin made sure that Zuki ate enough, drank, and she took her plenty of walks. What’s more, she cuddled Zuki to make her feel more at ease. Erin even ended up sleeping on the couch near Zuki to keep her company. I could tell that Erin was monitoring Zuki’s behavior bc she knew that Zuki has “fears,” and I was glad that Zuki had the opportunity to meet Erin with us present (so that our dog would be more comfortable and know that Erin was a friend). Thank you, Erin, for taking care of our fur baby!”
“Jesse was great! He provided boarding for our dog. He responded quickly to my request for booking, we met the next morning at a dog park so my dog could get to know his dog, and he was very flexible with scheduling drop off and pick up. He sent us a bunch of pictures and videos of our dog while we were away. I would certainly recommend Jesse if you're looking for help taking care of your dog.”
