“We left our dog Toffee with Jenny and her family for 5 days while we attended a work conference, and we could not have asked for a better experience! This was our first time using Rover and leaving Toffee with someone we didn’t know, so we were definitely nervous at first. Jenny immediately made us feel comfortable with constant updates, pictures, and videos throughout the entire stay. Toffee had the absolute best time running around in her huge backyard, playing with her kids and her two dogs, and getting so much love and attention. It truly felt like he was treated as part of their family. You can tell Jenny genuinely cares about the dogs she watches. We were able to fully enjoy our trip knowing Toffee was happy, safe, and so well cared for. We are beyond grateful and will absolutely be booking with Jenny and her lovely family again in the future. We've had a long-term house and dog sitter who recently relocated away from town, so our dogs had never had the experience of staying away from home without us before. We were a little concerned about how that would go, but right from the start we were reassured by Michelle's friendliness, her evident dog smarts, and her long experience with (sometimes challenging) pups. Before and throughout the boarding process, communication was just right -- clear and relevant, frequent enough to be reassuring but not at all excessive. When we returned home and picked up the dogs, they were in great shape: happy, relaxed, and clearly in no rush to leave Michelle and her family behind :) We'll definitely hope to have them stay again in the future.”

About: I grew up with cats as pets but i’ve always loved being around all animals. I adopted my first dog in college and that really kickstarted my appreciation for dogs! Since then, I’ve moved to a place where I cannot have pets so sitting through Rover has helped fill that gap in my life. I currently work full time Monday through Friday but can be fairly flexible with my schedule, and I work from home a lot so I could fit a drop-in or dog walking booking into my weekdays from time to time. I am willing to care for your pets in any way needed and am open to learning new things and ways of doing things. I will take your dog on any length walk they need, play outside or inside, feeding, grooming, and just plain spending time with them. As of right now I am only open to providing care in your home, as I currently live in a no pets allowed building.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10. I’ve always loved animals, and love sitting for them. I’ve walked and taken care of dogs from puppy to senior age. I love getting to know dogs and giving them the best care! I work at a coffee shop in Madison, but I am able to walk dogs before 7 am and after 3 pm. I’m very active, so I’ll make sure your pup gets good exercise! I am good at bribing hesitant dogs to go into a kennel if needed. I’m very detail oriented, so before I leave, I’ll make sure every door is locked, every food and water is filled up, and everyone is safe

About: I’ve owned dogs, cats, horses for years. No job is too big. I work in veterinary medicine as a technician. I am comfortable with medications, injections, subcutaneous fluids, etc. I currently work full time at Spring Harbor Animal Hospital. I am able to stop morning and evenings around work and then more on weekends! If you need services overnight I do try to check on my kitties before settling in with your pet for the night. In the client home I am very respectful of spaces and leave it as found. I will follow all rules both for myself and for your pet. Your and your pets trust, safety, and comfortableness is my number priority.

About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. Growing up, I cared for rabbits, hamsters, mice, and a pet rat. Today I share my home with my 13 year old cat, Meeko, and my housemate’s friendly 12 year old dog. I recently said goodbye to my senior cat after 16 wonderful years together. During the last few years of his life, I administered medication multiple times a day and became experienced in caring for an aging pet with extra medical needs. That experience strengthened my patience, attention to detail, and understanding that every pet deserves individualized, compassionate care. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll treat them with the same love and respect I give my own pets. I work full-time during the week, so I’m available for drop-in visits and dog walks before and after work, as well as evenings, weekends, and holidays. I also offer limited weekend boarding for one dog at a time so I can provide each guest with plenty of individual attention and care. My goal is to be flexible while making sure every pet receives the time and attention they deserve. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I know pets thrive on routine, so I’ll follow your instructions closely—from feeding schedules and walks to medications, favorite toys, and bedtime routines. For boarding, I have a securely fenced backyard for supervised outdoor play. I only accept one boarding dog at a time so I can provide a calm, personalized experience and ensure every pet receives plenty of attention. My home also includes my cat and my housemate’s dog, so I only accept dogs that are comfortable around cats and other dogs. This helps create a calm, safe environment for everyone.
