It was quite challenging but it’s fun! When I came here, we adopted Maggie and Lyka when they were still puppies. Maggie is a 7 years old Pug and Lyka is a 3 years old Boston Terrier. I love them so much! They are both lovable and friendly. Our neighbors and friends have relied on me to groom, walk, feed and bathe their dogs while they were away. My house sits in a shady private area and is surrounded by parks and trails so there will be a lot of running around and play time when your dog is cared for by me. I can do oral medication administration, I have had a senior dog experience and can provide daily exercise for your pups. My schedule is flexible so I can usually take on new dogs at a moment’s notice. I will update you regularly with pictures and videos to give you peace of mind during your time apart. I am working from home so most of my time will be caring for your fur baby. Daycare drop-off no earlier than 6:00 am and pick-up hours anytime in the afternoon. We have a large fenced backyard and our two dogs, Maggie (Pug) and Lyka (Boston Terrier) are very good with all dogs. They love to play and will keep your fur baby company during their stay. The dogs are in and out all day using 9 steps. We have security cameras and limited access to our property.

About: I've had dogs every year of my life. Moved around the country with them, and taken care of them like family since before I could walk. I've taken care of all ages. I'm currently working part time to help put me through college, so I have plenty of time most days to come in and take care of your dogs. I know how to make sure your dogs is safe and taken care of, and will follow any instructions about how you specifically want things done. Everyone does things differently, and I want to try and keep their habits as similar to normal as possible.

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, and horses, and have experience in oral med administration with both cats and dogs. I have a soft spot for the big dogs (they're lap-sized if you commit!). I run half marathons so getting good exercise in will be no problem (even in Wisconsin weather!). I'm currently training for distance running, so you can expect great exercise for your pet! Whether it's a long meandering sniff-ari or an intense loop around the neighborhood, I would love to know what fits your dog best. As I'm in your home, your instructions are paramount. You know your pet better than anyone, and I am happy to keep their normal routines in place. I like getting to know each animal and their unique personality, and while I *love* giving snuggles and pets, I understand some pets prefer their space.

About: Hello! I was fortunate enough to grow up in a home that always had a myriad of animals. Taking in and caring for strays was something my parents encouraged. As an adult, I adopted my five dogs (including bringing three home with me from Morocco after I finished my Peace Corps service) and three cats. I was also a foster parent with Underdog Pet Rescue for years where I had the privilege of caring for dozens of dogs and cats in my home and setting them up for a happy life with their adopters. In addition to dogs and cats, I have pet-sat for families with chickens, pot-bellied pigs, and various reptiles and amphibians. I am happy to care for any creature (only thing I am unable to do is snakes that require live feedings). I own my house and have a large, fenced-in backyard. I work from home and create my own schedule so I am easily able to accommodate most drop-in times as well as give your loved one plenty of attention and love if they’re boarding with me.
