Dog Walking in Portland

About: I’ve had dogs in my life as long as I can remember (32 years). Started with a Jack Russel, then a pitbull mix, and now have a wonderful 3.5 year old Canuncu mix rescued from Aruba! I work remotely and am home all day every day, and LOVE taking my dog out about once an hour, worst case once every 2! I’ve had two dogs since they’ve been puppies, and love the puppy phase - along with the older chilled out phase! I have dogsat for Huskies, Vizslas, Weimaraners, Mini Doodles, golden retrievers and Aussies! I truly enjoy playing and keeping dogs company, and feel guilty when any dogs are left to their own and ignored. I have 24hr 7 days a week attention to give, I work from home and am always able to use my dogs as an excuse to step away from the desk! On the second floor of an apt, so getting the dogs ready and taking out for a walk/just some fresh air is very easy! Usually take my dog out 4-5 times a day, and one of those is a long walk. I have a dog friendly apt, with a walking route and grass used daily! I am in the old port area, and love taking dogs around town for their walks! I make sure to incorporate grassy areas for their relief!

About: I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by animals—at one point, my family had six dogs, and five cats. Caring for animals has always been second nature to me, and I genuinely love meeting animals! With over 10 years of experience in dog sitting and dog walking, I’m dedicated to making your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness my top priority. You can count on me to give them the attention, affection, and reliable care they deserve. If you have any questions or special requests, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m always happy to help! I currently work part-time in retail, with short shifts of about six hours a few times a week. This schedule gives me plenty of flexibility—and plenty of time to spend quality, attentive care with your pet! I can stay in your home or stop by for visits—whatever works best for you and helps your pets feel safe and comfortable. I’m flexible and happy to accommodate your needs. I do not currently have any animals of my own so I would be glad to welcome them into my home as well. We also have a small unfenced where they can enjoy some additional supervised outdoor time.

About: Have grown up with dogs in my house my whole life and have always been a call away for neighbors and loved ones for help! Love pups and excited to meet some new friends! I work as a server so I have a little bit of a weird schedule but leaves my days open during the week so super helpful if you need walking at all during your work day! Available weekends as well mostly in the mornings before my shifts. Taking the dogs out for walks feels like a reward for both of us and love to spend the time outside! I live in a quiet relaxed apartment with a roomate who loves dogs as well, right by eastern prom so big area for walks there. Will be able to be present with the dog in the house full time while they are there with lots of walks throughout the day and lots of love as well!

About: We love taking care of dogs! We are the go-to pet sitters for our friends and family, and now that we are up in Portland, would love to be the go-to sitter for your pup! We've cared for a range of dogs, from puppies to senior pups, and all sizes in between. We have a wonderful 5-year old rescue pup named Dill. He is extremely sweet and does well with other dogs at the dog park and obedience classes. We request that all dogs that stay with us for doggy day care or boarding are friendly with other dogs. We do have space to keep pups separated for breaks, if needed. We both currently work full time jobs away from home, Mon - Friday 9-5, so would not be able to care for dogs that can’t be left alone for the workday. During the week, our evenings are typically spent at home and the weekends are usually open! We currently live in a large 1 bed apartment with our rescue dog Dill. Your pup would be the only additional dog that we care for and we would introduce them to our pup at a comfortable pace! We have a partially-enclosed backyard and are near the Western Promenade for adventures.

About: I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, energy levels, and temperaments. I’m attentive, patient, and prioritize safety, routine, and making sure each dog feels comfortable and cared for. As a med student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to plan my classes around pet care. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and sitting throughout the week. I follow all care instructions carefully and prioritize safety in both my home and clients’ homes. I’m respectful, attentive, and ensure pets feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for.

I'm currently between jobs so looking for regular dog walking as part of my routine. I am particularly interested in mid morning walks but am flexible and can be available at other times. I'm a devoted cat mom with an indoor only elderly cat. I'm looking forward to spending more quality time with dogs outside of my home.
