About: I’ve been dog-sitting for families in Portland on and off for the past two years, along with caring for dogs in my own family. Through these experiences, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and ages, from playful puppies and energetic younger dogs to senior dogs who need extra patience, gentleness, and care. I’m attentive, loving, and gentle, with a strong ability to read dogs’ cues and recognize what they need to feel comfortable and happy. I understand that younger dogs may need plenty of activity and playtime, while older dogs often benefit from a calm, patient sitter who moves at their pace and provides a warm, reassuring presence. I work remotely from 9–5 Monday through Friday, so I’m available every evening and on weekends for pet care. Since I work from home, I’m also happy to provide longer daytime stays or overnight care, as long as I’m able to work from your home. My flexible schedule allows me to give pets plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. I prioritize safety, comfort, and clear communication for every pet in my care. Before a booking, I like to learn about each pet’s routine, personality, dietary needs, medications, exercise preferences, and any potential concerns. I follow the pet parent’s instructions carefully and keep a close eye on pets so I can respond quickly if anything seems unusual. In a client’s home, I treat the space with the same care and respect I would my own. I keep doors, gates, and other escape routes secure, maintain a clean environment, and make sure pets have access to fresh water, food, and a comfortable place to rest. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so pet parents can feel confident while they’re away!

About: I have pet sat for neighbors, friends and family for six years where I was responsible for walking and feeding their animals. I grew up with an Australian Shepherd and have been walking dogs since I was 10. I am an Elementary School Teacher so I am looking for something part time or full time for the summer months. I am also looking to continue my services when the school year starts in September. I currently have two cats of my own who get along very well with other animals. My parents dog stays with me as well on some weekends. I have a large park near my apartment and my parents dog really enjoys running around there. I am an elementary school teacher, so I will be available mostly full time during the summer months and then I will transition into a part time schedule when school starts back up in the fall. I have two cats of my own, so your pet will have fur friends to play with when/ if they stay at my home. Right next to my home I have a large park that residents take their pets to. I would also love to take your pet to a nearby dog park, that way they can socialize in a safe space!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs at all stages of life. My experience ranges from young pets to senior care. It’s been an honor. I work part-time from home and have a flexible schedule. I live in close proximity to multiple Portland Trails and our home fronts the Fore River and boarders a sanctuary. I have a fenced yard and a friendly Yellow Lab named Uma, who lives for her next play date. She is respectful of senior dogs and puppies too. There’s lots of room to run around and play.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life—from Cavapoos to Corgis to Wheaten Terriors to Doodles, to Boxers! I’ve also had the pleasure of having a Goldendoodle of my own as well! My sweet pup was in an accident and required lots of specific care such as wound care and medication administration for many months. I am a very patient and dedicated pet sitter and will treat your pet like my own. I’ll keep them safe, make sure they get the attention they need, and assure that you get the updates you crave while away from your bestie. I absolutely love animals and I also know how challenging it can be to have peace of mind while maintaining your life responsibilities outside of your furry friends—I hope to have the opportunity to take that stress off of your plate! I’m currently in grad school for Speech Language Pathology (classes are online until January 2027) and work per diem at the hospital. I have two shifts per week serving at a restaurant in Portland as well, they are typically 6-8 hour shifts so if booked for an overnight, there may be a day or two that I am away for that amount of time! Otherwise, my schedule is super flexible and perfect for that mid day potty and play break! Safety is first! You tell me how you like things to go in your home and what makes your pet the most comfortable and I’ll make sure it happens! Let me know if your pet has any anxieties in public and I’ll keep in mind ways to keep them happy and calm on walkies!

About: We love taking care of dogs! We are the go-to pet sitters for our friends and family, and now that we are up in Portland, would love to be the go-to sitter for your pup! We've cared for a range of dogs, from puppies to senior pups, and all sizes in between. We have a wonderful 5-year old rescue pup named Dill. He is extremely sweet and does well with other dogs at the dog park and obedience classes. We request that all dogs that stay with us for doggy day care or boarding are friendly with other dogs. We do have space to keep pups separated for breaks, if needed. We both currently work full time jobs away from home, Mon - Friday 9-5, so would not be able to care for dogs that can’t be left alone for the workday. We would still take your pup out for a lunchtime potty break! During the week, our evenings are typically spent at home and the weekends are usually open! We currently live in a large 1 bed apartment with our rescue dog Dill. Your pup would be the only additional dog that we care for and we would introduce them to our pup at a comfortable pace! We have a partially-enclosed backyard and are near the Western Promenade for adventures.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and have always considered pets part of the family. I grew up with dogs and currently spend lots of time with our family’s high-energy Blue Heeler mix, who keeps me active and reminds me how much enrichment, exercise, and attention dogs need to thrive. My 19-year-old cat recently passed away after many years together, and during his final years I provided extensive care, including managing daily medications and supporting him through several medical needs. I’m comfortable caring for senior pets and animals who need a little extra patience and attention. I especially enjoy working with active breeds who need extra exercise, mental stimulation, and adventure. I’m happy to provide everything from neighborhood walks and drop-in visits to longer adventures like day hikes for dogs who are ready for a little more activity. I work full-time, so my availability is focused around evenings, weekends, holidays, and scheduled visits. I am available for overnight stays in your home, and I’m happy to provide cat sitting, drop-in visits, and care for pets who benefit from a little extra attention while you’re away. For dogs, I offer walks and visits during my available times, with a special love for active dogs who need exercise and enrichment. Weekends and holidays are great opportunities for longer walks, outdoor adventures, and extra quality time. I’m committed to providing dependable, thoughtful care that fits your pet’s routine and helps them feel comfortable while you’re away. My priority is making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re away from their family. I will follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, and their preferred ways of receiving attention. When caring for pets in their own home, I understand that maintaining their familiar environment and routine is often the most comforting option. I will treat your home with respect and provide updates so you know how your pet is doing. For pets staying in my home, I provide a calm, safe environment and tailor their experience to their individual personality. Cats will have a quiet space to settle in and, depending on their comfort level and my availability, can have supervised access to explore and interact. When I’m away, I prioritize safety by providing a secure, comfortable area where they can relax.
