About: Hi! I’m Nicholas, a lifelong dog lover and experienced dog sitter here in Portland, ME. I enjoy providing walks, hikes, playtime, and belly rubs to make sure your dog feels loved and safe while you’re away. I’m happy to accommodate any special needs required for your dog. This could include administering medications, handling dietary restrictions, and following your dog’s routine. Your dog’s happiness and comfort are my top priorities! My wife and I are the go to dog sitter for our circle of friends, and hope someday to get a dog of our own! I’d love to meet your furry friend and provide them with excellent care! I work from home Monday-Friday till 5pm. I could do any dog walks after work, or any other care needed. I will be available some weekends. I would make sure to take special care of your dog, and make your dog feel comfortable. If I only did a house visit, I would make sure your dog has everything they need, before I left your house.

About: In the past, I had a Rottweiler German Shepherd mix who was 100lbs. His name was Huckleberry. I loved taking him on walks, grooming/brushing him, and giving him lots of pets. My friends also hired me to take care of their dogs who ranged in different breeds and sizes. I also love taking pictures of all animals. You're sure to get some pretty pictures of your pooch! I am currently working part-time at The Maine Mall and have some free time to help out as much of the Portland dog loving community as possible. Dogs make me happy and feel good about what I do! I make sure your pet(s) are cared for by giving them plenty of water on walks, making sure they are not acting out of the norm (panting heavily/having heat exhaustion). I was working at a veterinary hospital in Chicagoland, so I feel confident at making sure your dog is well taken care of, kept hydrated, fed well, and that all the normal everyday tasks (peeing, pooping, breathing) are being well monitored. I will also send pictures/videos if I suspect something is not right/concerning. I hope to take care of your cute pooch soon!

About: I've done plenty of pet sitting in my past, but I have a 2 year old energetic, pit mix of my own so I'm versed in strong, big dogs. And love the little shrimps too. I'm a local math teacher on summer break, needless to say, I'm super available. Particularly, the weekdays are good for me during the day, while I contemplate the next big equation I will teach the youth. I love a long walk on the beach (or through town) with your little angel. And am more than happy to play a little fetch or just people watch at the park.

I currently have an elderly cat who receives medication by hand twice a day, so I have experience working with senior animals that need more advanced care. I would love to work with your pet!! I am available Friday - Saturday when you need me and can make myself available in the late afternoons and evenings Monday - Thursday as needed for repeat pet sitting! I am a calm, patient individual and want to get to know your pet at their speed. About: My first job was at Mainely Dog, a doggy daycare where I fed and entertained groups of dogs-all sizes and personalities. I’ve grown up with many dogs in my family. We also fostered and took in dogs with behavioral difficulties, even had up to 5 dogs at once so I’m used to handling multiple dogs at a time! My dream has always been to own my own business to help and love animals. I can’t wait to meet your pups! I currently work a part time job where I work 3-4 days a week from 4:30-10:30 so I am available the rest of those days and my days off. I am attentive and can keep your pets safe whether that’s in your home or outside in the yard.
