I have recently moved back to Maine from California. I have had/have pets of all kinds. I currently have 1 dog, 2 cats, chickens and two snakes. I have fostered over 48 dogs in the last 5 years(including 4 pregnant moms and then their litters). I have a lot of experience with puppies and seniors requiring specialized care. My cat of 21 years passed several years ago and she required subcutaneous fluids (and meds)every day for years. My senior dog with Cushings disease and Dilated cardio myopathy recently passed. I have experience with most breeds and sizes (from 4 pounds to 120) I have NO breed restrictions! I have worked extensively with highly reactive/triggered dogs as well as shutdown/extremely shy dogs. I also have experience with most farm animals(chickens, goats, horses, sheep, cows, llamas) and am able to do what I call "whole farm check ins" in the greater Portland area.

I prefer to stick to your animals routine as much as possible for their comfort and ease...so I always appreciate notes/info about feeding style, energy level, sleeping arrangements. If doing drop ins I am always conscious to hide a key properly and bring in mail on doorsteps.

Jesika was a fantastic, caring, and communicative cat sitter! I really appreciated all of her updates, especially because my cat needs two daily medications. She even cleaned up a huge mess my cat made in between visits, not to mention she watered my plants because they were looking thirsty!! It was such a relief to have someone trustworthy and thoughtful looking after Rey while I was out of town for Thanksgiving. I highly recommend Jesika and look forward to booking with her again in the future!
Jesika went above and beyond to help me out. On short notice, she took on this shift on Thanksgiving, which is a busy day. She arrived on time, handled all my requests efficiently, and managed to complete the task without ever being at my home. She even left everything in the same condition and sent me photos and videos as a thank you. I highly recommend her services.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about our pet sitter Jesika She took incredible care of my 16-year-old, 5-pound Yorkie and treated her with the gentleness and attention she truly needs at her age. She walked her, fed her, spent quality time with her, and made sure she was always comfortable. Her communication was outstanding — she kept me updated constantly, sending messages and photos so I never had to worry. She was respectful, reliable, and genuinely caring from start to finish. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pet like their own, I absolutely recommend Jesika. She went above and beyond, and I’m so grateful for the peace of mind she gave me.

Schedule
I have a fairly flexible schedule. I prefer late morning drop ins, but am also available for evenings if needed. I am available most holidays and weekends. Please be prepared to do a video "meet and greet", if you require one. My schedule often does not allow for prior in person "meet and greets", especially when booked last minute. If there are injections and/or numerous medications involved in the drop in...please be prepared for the possibility of an additional fee.
