“Trevor has watched our cats, Mira and Wren, twice and he’s been fantastic every time. He’s super responsive with messages, sends adorable photo updates, and takes the time to play with them and keep them comfortable. Thank you so much Trevor!”

“Katey provided great care for our cat while we were away for the holidays. She cuddled and played with him to his heart’s content. She was on time every day and sent many pictures and updates to ease our minds. Definitely recommend!”

About: I enjoy being outdoors and exercising, so adding a dog makes it that much better! My favorite activity is finding new parks in Portland, so adding your pet is a perk! Exercise and care are the most important aspects of pet care. I am currently not able to have my own dog, so this is an excellent outlet for me to destress and make some money. Also, prior to college, I owned a dog for 7 years and still dog-sit occasionally for friends. Housesitting is one of my favorite ways to hang with your pets. I also love drop-ins and regular walks! I am flexible and available. Dog or cat, I already love your pets! I work downtown and often work from home. Regardless of my daily location, this gives me opportunities to get out throughout my work day and after while also making some money. I am always happy to provide most requested details from pet parents. I will always be attentive to your requests as well as the needs of your pets.
“Julia was great and I will be another booking with her again. Very communicative and time great care of my two cats (one of whom is kind of a jerk 😑) Thank you Julia!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life—from Cavapoos to Corgis to Wheaten Terriors to Doodles, to Boxers! I’ve also had the pleasure of having a Goldendoodle of my own as well! My sweet pup was in an accident and required lots of specific care such as wound care and medication administration for many months. I am a very patient and dedicated pet sitter and will treat your pet like my own. I’ll keep them safe, make sure they get the attention they need, and assure that you get the updates you crave while away from your bestie. I absolutely love animals and I also know how challenging it can be to have peace of mind while maintaining your life responsibilities outside of your furry friends—I hope to have the opportunity to take that stress off of your plate! I’m currently in grad school for Speech Language Pathology and work per diem at the hospital. My schedule is super flexible and perfect for that mid day potty and play break! Safety is first! You tell me how you like things to go in your home and what makes your pet the most comfortable and I’ll make sure it happens! Let me know if your pet has any anxieties in public and I’ll keep in mind ways to keep them happy and calm on walkies!
“Julia was great at caring for our pups. She did an hour long drop in and made sure they had some time outside and our pup was not in his kennel while my wife was working. Thank you for taking care of them and helping us out.”

“Jess is GREAT! She very quickly gained the trust of our senior and special needs dog. He is comfortable with her and benefits from her visits every week! She is punctual, trustworthy, sends updates, flexible schedule, communicates clearly and quickly, and we feel she truly loves our dog. It is very difficult to find someone who would care for your pet as you would and we are so grateful for Jess!”

About: I’m a lifelong pet owner and caregiver with experience across a wide range of animals. Dogs have always been at the heart of my life—I currently own a senior dog named Ralphie, and my last four dogs were all adopted as seniors. I’m very comfortable with walking, feeding, administering medications, and following detailed care routines, especially for older pets. I also grew up in an extremely pet-centric household. At one point, my family cared for five dogs and four cats at the same time, so I’m very familiar with busy, multi-pet environments and the structure required to keep everyone healthy and happy. Beyond dogs and cats, I’ve helped care for fish (both freshwater and saltwater), reptiles and lizards, rodents, and birds, and I understand that each species has unique needs, routines, and sensitivities. I’m calm, attentive, and respectful of the fact that pet parents care deeply about how their animals are treated. My goal is simple: provide reliable, thoughtful care so your pets feel safe and comfortable—and you feel confident while you’re away. Please note that I also carry liability insurance above and beyond what is already offered under Rover’s guarantee policy. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I’m currently in between jobs, which gives me open and flexible availability for walks, drop-ins, and consistent care throughout the day. I enjoy building my schedule around pets’ routines rather than squeezing them into limited windows. Because of this flexibility, I’m able to accommodate morning, midday, evening, and weekend visits, as well as last-minute requests when needed. I value reliability and consistency, and I like knowing I can give pets my full attention without rushing. When caring for pets, I work exclusively in my client’s home, where pets are most comfortable and routines stay consistent. I follow all instructions closely regarding feeding, walking, medications, and household rules, and I’m very mindful of maintaining your space exactly as you left it. Safety is my top priority. I make sure doors, gates, leashes, and harnesses are secure, double-check medications and feeding instructions, and remain attentive to any changes in behavior or health. I take a calm, respectful approach—especially with senior pets or animals who may be anxious or shy. I understand that trust is essential when someone is caring for your pet in your home. I communicate clearly, provide updates as requested, and treat both your pet and your space with care, responsibility, and respect.
“We can’t say more about Lauren. She’s so great with our cats that we think they like her better than us. ☺️ She goes above and beyond and we’ll be using her services again and again.”

“Madeleine is kind, responsible and great at checking in with photos! In fact, she took one of my favorite pictures I have of my kitty, ever. Highly recommend.”

“Yiran was so great with our two cats! Especially with our shy cat who takes awhile to feel comfortable with new people. Yiran is communicative, kind, and responsive! I felt like my cats were in great hands while I left to go camping.”

“Viva is so attentive and dedicated to our dog when she comes to walk her! We always get the best photos and reports back from Viva after her visits. She asks about our training goals to keep things consistent for our dog! Highly recommend!”

“Jesika is WONDERFUL! We were able to enjoy time away knowing our dog, Penny, was in such capable hands. Jesika is an outstanding communicator, she goes above and beyond, and Penny absolutely adored her! Thank you Jesika!”

“Stacey, Was very accommodating quick to respond and most importantly took good care of our cats. She shared a lot of pictures and was punctual. She even helped shovel our front walk.”

“She is a fabulous pet sitter. Always appreciate her level of communication and how much she cares for our kitties. We travel what seems monthly and she’s our go to sitter!!”

About: Willing to walk most nights a week Worked with large dogs (mainly Great Danes) Have worked with a reactive dog (Family Pet) Dog was reactive on lease with other dogs. When walking I had to be very aware of other dogs that were around and had to be able to move quick when I did see a dog also had treats to distract him from the other dogs. Any time after 4:00 on weekdays due to other job Saturdays: 7 AM - 10 AM and 6:30 PM - 9 PM Sundays: All Day I care for my parents dog and love him very much, when I watch him we usually will hang out in the house or go to the dog park because that is where my parents take him. When I watch someone else dog I like to follow their rules and listen to what they are asking of me. I have watched my sister's dog who is reactive and when watching him I have made sure that I am aware of what he is doing, what I am doing and what is around me. Personally I don't think that the way I care for my parents and families pets would be different from a clients because all pets should be loved!
“Anna was so wonderful. She watched our cat while we went away for the 4th of July. She was incredibly communicative and sent wonderful pictures/updates. Would recommend Anna to anyone looking for a kind and reliable sitter!”

Priscilla is amazing! She took such good care of my two cats that even my shy kitty opened up and initiated playtime. Her updates are thorough and include lots of photos, she’s friendly and communicative over chat, and she executes the care plan to a T. It was wonderful to know my kitties were in such excellent hands while I was away and to not need to worry about them. Will definitely be booking with Priscilla again!

Muriel was very sweet with the pets and communicated really well. When a storm threatened our flight, she stayed in touch and worked around her schedule to be able to bridge the gap so that care continued until we got home. I would definitely recommend her anytime.
Annie has a detailed introduction and clear information she left with me from the free intro/meet and greet. She was on schedule for all the days my dog needed a walk and very prompt with replies by text/rover message. I am rarely sure about giving people access to my house when I'm not there but I was totally comfortable with Annie doing so. Thank you for keeping Finn exercised, his paws clean, and making sure he was cozy in his coat when it was snowy!

Sera was amazing!! She watched my cat for three weeks while I was on vacation, she was very thoughtful and attentive and my cat loved her! She always sent lots of cute pictures and updates for each visit, which I really appreciated. My cat has asthma and needs an inhaler and Sera was very open to and did a great job learning how to give the inhaler! She left my apartment very neat and I came back to a happy cat, would absolutely recommend Sera as a cat sitter!!
