About: We love taking care of dogs! We are the go-to pet sitters for our friends and family, and now that we are up in Portland, would love to be the go-to sitter for your pup! We've cared for a range of dogs, from puppies to senior pups, and all sizes in between. We have a wonderful 5-year old rescue pup named Dill. He is extremely sweet and does well with other dogs at the dog park and obedience classes. We request that all dogs that stay with us for doggy day care or boarding are friendly with other dogs. We do have space to keep pups separated for breaks, if needed. We both currently work full time jobs away from home, Mon - Friday 9-5, so would not be able to care for dogs that can’t be left alone for the workday. During the week, our evenings are typically spent at home and the weekends are usually open! We currently live in a large 1 bed apartment with our rescue dog Dill. Your pup would be the only additional dog that we care for and we would introduce them to our pup at a comfortable pace! We have a partially-enclosed backyard and are near the Western Promenade for adventures.

About: I’m a lifelong pet owner and caregiver with experience across a wide range of animals. Dogs have always been at the heart of my life—I currently own a senior dog named Ralphie, and my last four dogs were all adopted as seniors. I’m very comfortable with walking, feeding, administering medications, and following detailed care routines, especially for older pets. I also grew up in an extremely pet-centric household. At one point, my family cared for five dogs and four cats at the same time, so I’m very familiar with busy, multi-pet environments and the structure required to keep everyone healthy and happy. Beyond dogs and cats, I’ve helped care for fish (both freshwater and saltwater), reptiles and lizards, rodents, and birds, and I understand that each species has unique needs, routines, and sensitivities. Because of this flexibility, I’m able to accommodate morning, midday, evening, and weekend visits, as well as last-minute requests when needed. I value reliability and consistency, and I like knowing I can give pets my full attention without rushing. When caring for pets, I work exclusively in my client’s home, where pets are most comfortable and routines stay consistent. I follow all instructions closely regarding feeding, walking, medications, and household rules, and I’m very mindful of maintaining your space exactly as you left it. Safety is my top priority. I make sure doors, gates, leashes, and harnesses are secure, double-check medications and feeding instructions, and remain attentive to any changes in behavior or health. I take a calm, respectful approach—especially with senior pets or animals who may be anxious or shy. I understand that trust is essential when someone is caring for your pet in your home. I communicate clearly, provide updates as requested, and treat both your pet and your space with care, responsibility, and respect.

About: I can care for single or multi-pet households. I've dog and cat sat for over 10 years. I started dog and cat sitting for friends and neighbors during college and graduate school. I can provide care to senior cats, and some senior dogs. I've owned animals for my entire life. I currently own two wonderful cats (one adult, one teenager) , and grew up with pets, including a dog, a cat, a hamster, and a guinea pig. I am available all days of the week for drop in visits and walks. I can accept some house-sitting and overnight stays during the week/weekend. I would care for your pet with the utmost love and respect, as well as treat your home with respect. It takes a lot of trust to invite someone in to care for your beloved pets and I would never want to violate that trust. I would follow all instructions and be clear on communication/vet/health/feeding information.

About: I enjoy being outdoors and exercising, so adding a dog makes it that much better! My favorite activity is finding new parks in Portland, so adding your pet is a perk! Exercise and care are the most important aspects of pet care. I am currently not able to have my own dog, so this is an excellent outlet for me to destress and make some money. Also, prior to college, I owned a dog for 7 years and still dog-sit occasionally for friends. Housesitting is one of my favorite ways to hang with your pets. I also love drop-ins and regular walks! I am flexible and available. Dog or cat, I already love your pets! I work downtown and often work from home. Regardless of my daily location, this gives me opportunities to get out throughout my work day and after while also making some money. I am always happy to provide most requested details from pet parents. I will always be attentive to your requests as well as the needs of your pets.

I chose Alejandro after reading many walker profiles and one review stood out which ultimately helped me make the decision. Alejandro has been very easy to work with, I booked for reoccurring walks for the time I am incapacitated, he has a planned vacation in the middle of my needs. We worked out a schedule that would meet both of our needs. After a few days of being laid up, no one was helping with my pups morning walks. About: I've been around animals my entire life. I grew up with creepy crawlies (reptiles, amphibians, and the like), little furry friends (hamsters, guinea pigs, dogs, cats and ferrets), and even a few fish. I love animals and would love to get to know yours! I am available nearly 24/7 with a very flexible schedule. I can also care for elderly dogs, administer oral medication, and exercise your high energy dogs. Im currently working part time, so Ill have plenty of time to walk, play, and generally show love and attention to your pet(s)! Im free Friday-Monday from 8am-10pm every week and can do late drop ins during the work-week after 7pm. Im a very intuitive person when it comes to animals emotions/needs and am able to respond accordingly while following pre-established rules by the owners. For example; If a dog has high energy and is barking a lot for seemingly no reason, they may be feeling anxious. So ill do a check in where a run through things they may need (food, out, pets) and if that doesnt work, ask them to show me the problem so we can adress it together. All whilst exuding calm, confident tone and body language to show that everything is okay despite what they may be feeling. Im also extremely committed to your pets safety and comfort. Im very comfortable and quick when high stress situations arise. Whether it be removing a chicken bone from somebodys mouth who shouldnt have it and is being aggressive, dealing with other pets off leash, or on the rare occasion there's a medical emergency, I will keep my cool and make sure they get the help they need, no matter what.
