About: I’ve always had dogs in my life since I was a little kid. Unfortunately, my current residence doesn’t allow me to have any of my own. I am an avid runner and mountain biker, and would love to help out local pet parents by tiring your pups out! I am a merchant marine, meaning I go out to sea to work for long periods of time. I am home for equally as long periods, with nothing but free time! I am very familiar with working with pets of all needs. I worked at a kennel for 4 years and cared for dogs and cats with all sorts of special medical requirements.
“Katey was fantastic. Our dog is anxious around new people and she made her feel very comfortable. Highly recommend! Responsive and great experience with animals.”

About: Nice to meet you, I'm Jay. Since 2015, I've cared for anxious, reactive, or happy-go-lucky pups. From a shelter environment to dog walking, doggy daycare, and vet emergency rooms, I've had hands-on experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments. I'm currently studying positive reinforcement training and have successfully supported 20+ reactive dogs in a day to day enrichment program tailored to each of their needs from Sept 24-June 25 before fully focusing on one on one services. I am able to care for animals for around 30-40hrs a week. I am used to working a full time job with animals and enjoy being able to spend my day working them. Your home is your safe place and your dog's favorite place to be. I work hard to make sure your dog's routine is followed and your home stays just as neat and clean as you left it.
About: We love taking care of dogs! We are the go-to pet sitters for our friends and family, and now that we are up in Portland, would love to be the go-to sitter for your pup! We've cared for a range of dogs, from puppies to senior pups, and all sizes in between. We have a wonderful 5-year old rescue pup named Dill. He is extremely sweet and does well with other dogs at the dog park and obedience classes. We request that all dogs that stay with us for doggy day care or boarding are friendly with other dogs. We do have space to keep pups separated for breaks, if needed. We both currently work full time jobs away from home, Mon - Friday 9-5, so would not be able to care for dogs that can’t be left alone for the workday. During the week, our evenings are typically spent at home and the weekends are usually open! We currently live in a large 1 bed apartment with our rescue dog Dill. Your pup would be the only additional dog that we care for and we would introduce them to our pup at a comfortable pace! We have a partially-enclosed backyard and are near the Western Promenade for adventures.
“Thank you Emily for all the awesome love and care you show Blake last week was amazing! I would have you come back again. Blake really enjoyed you. Thank you again, you're awesome!!!!”

About: I've been around animals my entire life. I grew up with creepy crawlies (reptiles, amphibians, and the like), little furry friends (hamsters, guinea pigs, dogs, cats and ferrets), and even a few fish. I love animals and would love to get to know yours! I am available nearly 24/7 with a very flexible schedule. I can also care for elderly dogs, administer oral medication, and exercise your high energy dogs. Im currently working part time, so Ill have plenty of time to walk, play, and generally show love and attention to your pet(s)! Im free Friday-Monday from 8am-10pm every week and can do late drop ins during the work-week after 7pm. Im a very intuitive person when it comes to animals emotions/needs and am able to respond accordingly while following pre-established rules by the owners. For example; If a dog has high energy and is barking a lot for seemingly no reason, they may be feeling anxious. So ill do a check in where a run through things they may need (food, out, pets) and if that doesnt work, ask them to show me the problem so we can adress it together. All whilst exuding calm, confident tone and body language to show that everything is okay despite what they may be feeling. Im also extremely committed to your pets safety and comfort. Im very comfortable and quick when high stress situations arise. Whether it be removing a chicken bone from somebodys mouth who shouldnt have it and is being aggressive, dealing with other pets off leash, or on the rare occasion there's a medical emergency, I will keep my cool and make sure they get the help they need, no matter what.
About: I grew up my whole life with dogs. First we had a black lab/coon hound mix named Bear, then a Black Lab/Weimaraner mix named Reilly, then a teacup chihuahua named Beans. I currently am a cat owner with my partner Chloe; we have a brown striped tiger named Hobbes who is surrounded by dog cousins! My parents currently own a Papillon named Skipper and a Cockapoo named Willa; my sister in law has a Great Pyrenees named Nellie; my sibling owns a Pit Bull named Beau; my mother and father in law have two full blown mutts. He also has a neighbor named Yogi who is a German Shorthair. All these guys have visited to be sat and have all basically got along with Hobbes (except the Papillon, but Hobbes still likes him even if he isn’t chill about their friendship). All this to say, I may be a cat owner, but I am a dog owner first and foremost, and have just as much love for the small loud ones as I do for the huge energetic ones! Happy to help you out if your pet needs a walker or a sitter. I work in the outdoors during the summer/fall season, so during the winter I’m mainly picking up gigs and part time work. I will make sure I’m available for long visits periodically throughout the day as needed. When I use rover for my cat Hobbes, it’s to make sure that he is getting love and attention and that I can get updates of him to make sure he’s doing good, and I carry that into my work caring for your pets as well. I want to know about where your dog’s favorite walks are near the house; what your pet’s favorite toy to play with is. I’ll give them the time they need and will make sure to take plenty of pictures to send over to you to update you with, and make sure your pups and cats are getting the best visits they can get!
“Molly is so wonderful! She is very communicative and eased my anxiety about being a new dog owner. The peace of mind that I had knowing Daisy was being taken care of and enjoying her time with Molly's little Tostito was so helpful. I highly recommend Molly!”

About: I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by animals—at one point, my family had six dogs, and five cats. Caring for animals has always been second nature to me, and I genuinely love meeting animals! With over 10 years of experience in dog sitting and dog walking, I’m dedicated to making your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness my top priority. You can count on me to give them the attention, affection, and reliable care they deserve. If you have any questions or special requests, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m always happy to help! I currently work part-time in retail, with short shifts of about six hours a few times a week. This schedule gives me plenty of flexibility—and plenty of time to spend quality, attentive care with your pet! I can stay in your home or stop by for visits—whatever works best for you and helps your pets feel safe and comfortable. I’m flexible and happy to accommodate your needs. I do not currently have any animals of my own so I would be glad to welcome them into my home as well. We also have a small unfenced where they can enjoy some additional supervised outdoor time.
