I chose Alejandro after reading many walker profiles and one review stood out which ultimately helped me make the decision. Alejandro has been very easy to work with, I booked for reoccurring walks for the time I am incapacitated, he has a planned vacation in the middle of my needs. We worked out a schedule that would meet both of our needs. After a few days of being laid up, no one was helping with my pups morning walks. Asked Alejandro if he was available to do mornings and he could! What good luck?! Communication has been great, pup is panting and happy when he gets home, and the rate fits my budget. About: I have cared for animals from dogs to horses to chickens since childhood. I have had greyhounds for the last 8 years and am familiar with their idiosyncrasies, but am happy to walk and sit dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am a teacher, so during the summer I have a flexible schedule for sitting and walks. During the school year, I can board for weekends only. My dog is used to 3 walks a day in the neighborhood and an before-bed potty break, with some trips to trails and parks to keep things interesting. I live on a quiet dead-end street. I do not have a yard, but there are lots of sidewalks for neighborhood walks on leash, and a trail in the woods within walking distance. If your dog likes car rides, we can also go for adventures on other trails. I have a friendly, 6 year old greyhound, Turtle, who gets along well with medium and large dogs, so any boarders must play well with others and be up to date on shots, including kennel cough, and parasite screenings!

About: I’ve loved animals my entire life and have had three dogs and two cats over the years. I’m currently raising a golden retriever puppy with my family and absolutely love spending time with dogs. Friends have always trusted me to watch their pets while they’re out of town because they know I treat every animal like family. I’m the kind of person who stops people on the street just to ask if I can pet their dog. Caring for animals genuinely makes me happy, and I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m currently between jobs, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability to give your pets the attention, care, walks, and love they deserve. I care for every pet like my own, always putting their safety, comfort, and happiness first. I stay alert on walks, careful around other dogs, people, traffic, and our surroundings to make sure pets feel safe and secure at all times. I also have a fenced yard for safe play and experience caring for and crate training puppies since I currently have 2 dogs.

About: My first job was at Mainely Dog, a doggy daycare where I fed and entertained groups of dogs-all sizes and personalities. I’ve grown up with many dogs in my family. We also fostered and took in dogs with behavioral difficulties, even had up to 5 dogs at once so I’m used to handling multiple dogs at a time! My dream has always been to own my own business to help and love animals. I can’t wait to meet your pups! I currently work a part time job where I work 3-4 days a week from 4:30-10:30 so I am available the rest of those days and my days off. I am attentive and can keep your pets safe whether that’s in your home or outside in the yard. When out on walks, I am skilled at reading your dog and other dog’s ability to interact in a safe environment from my experience at the doggy daycare.

About: I have grown up helping at my family boarding and grooming shop! I also have had variety of pets throughout my life and love them! It provides me with exercise and time with animals between my job and relaxing at home with my own dog. I love being active and being with animals.
