About: I work at The Bark Yard, a fear and force free doggy daycare and boarding facility, where I care for dogs daily in a positive, stress-free environment. I’ve grown up with small to extremely large dogs—mainly Boston terriers and Great Pyrenees—and have hands-on experience with feeding, medication routines, enrichment, and reading canine body language. I also personally own and care for a cat, so I’m comfortable providing attentive, gentle care for both dogs and cats. Pet care is already a regular part of my daily and weekly routine. I work hands-on at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, so caring for animals, following schedules, and reading behavior is second nature to me. At home, I care for my own cat with consistent feeding, litter maintenance, playtime, and observation. Because pet care is built into my lifestyle—not something I squeeze in—I’m reliable, attentive, and able to adjust my routine to meet each pet’s needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize safety, trust, and maintaining their normal routine. I carefully follow all written and verbal instructions regarding feeding, medications, walks, and household rules. I respect the pet’s space, read body language, and move at their comfort level—especially for shy or anxious pets. I keep doors, gates, and leashes secure, maintain a clean environment, and leave the home as I found it. My goal is for pets to feel calm, safe, and cared for in their familiar environment.

About: I have always loved both dogs and cats since I was a kid! I have been around dogs since I was little and I live with a cat now! I would adore taking your furry friend for a walk or checking up on your cat when you are away. I am currently trying to fit dog walking into my schedule in the mornings before my job starts (STARTING IN MAY). I can also check up on your furry friend in the evening. I am also building my online business so days I am not at my other job are more flexible! I am very good at directions and pay attention to details. I will follow the directions left by the owners when doing a check in! I listen to the pet, and if they are not so sure of me, I let them come to me (especially with cats!) And of course there will be lots of pets!

About: Hi, My name is Muriel and I am originally from France. I moved to the US 9 years ago and I miss having cats in my life! I used to cat sit there (home and people's home) for 4 years. My family also owned cats when I was younger. I am used to them and they get easily used to me! At home, it's me, my husband and our 5 year old girl. Tyler and Julia are both big fan of cats. Julia is very gentle with animals and i taught her to respect them. We have a house with a fenced yard. If your cat is not supposed to go outside, I'll make sure to keep the doors and windows closed. Can't wait to meet your pet! I am working full time from home, from 8 to 5 pm. I'll be happy to have a cat keep me company! Our daughter goes to school from 8:30 to 5pm. We allow cats to use our furniture and sleep with us (hopefully!!!!) Because I work remotely, I spend most of the day at home with your cat. I love to play with them using little strings or aluminum foil balls. My daughter Julia will also help with that part of course! I change the litter several times a day to avoid smells. I am also happy to brush/comb your cat :)

About: I have worked with and cared for dogs all my life, and cats about half. I have trained dozens of dogs, even ones that have been “impossible”. I am a very active person and outside is better than in! Expect to get your pets back tired so you all can rest before you’re back at the grind. Right now I have a full-time job and just looking for a side gig doing something I love on the weekends. I love animals, even the quirky ones. Right now, just working on the weekends I’m available. I do have two small dogs at home that need to play, and love other pets. I can watch them at my home, bring them to the dog park or at your home, if I can bring my dogs with.

About: I come from the doggy daycare business, so I have tons of experience caring for dogs of all breeds and ages. My work consisted of taking the dogs on walks, providing them with enriching play time, and ensuring they feel comfortable in their schedule of alternating play and rest. I have plenty of ideas to keep your pup engaged and entertained, but I also love just chilling and cuddling. My special skills include: -training puppies on basic cues and manners -fear and force-free grooming (baths, nail trims, deshedding) I’m free to house sit overnight for you every day except Fridays, though I’m willing to negotiate scheduling on a case by case basis! I’m a writer, and I can do my work from anywhere. I like to keep an eye on your pet at all times to ensure they are staying safe and happy. If they like outside time, I’m happy to supervise them in a fenced in yard, let them roam on lead, or take them on multiple walks a day. Whatever their usual schedule is, I will match it to the best of my ability!

About: I've taken care of the family dog since I was very young. I have experience training, bathing, walking, and just being around all kinds of dogs. I am an artist finishing my last semester at the Maine College of Art looking for part time work taking care of and walking dogs. I have lots of time between classes, on days off, and on weekends to care for your pets! I am an athletic person, with a love for long walks, so your dog should always come home tired! I am very flexible and more than willing to cater to the needs of all different kinds of dogs.
