About: I’ve been dog-sitting for families in Portland on and off for the past two years, along with caring for dogs in my own family. Through these experiences, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and ages, from playful puppies and energetic younger dogs to senior dogs who need extra patience, gentleness, and care. I’m attentive, loving, and gentle, with a strong ability to read dogs’ cues and recognize what they need to feel comfortable and happy. I understand that younger dogs may need plenty of activity and playtime, while older dogs often benefit from a calm, patient sitter who moves at their pace and provides a warm, reassuring presence. Every pet and family has their own routines, preferences, and expectations. I’m committed to following your instructions carefully and caring for your dog the way you would, so they feel safe, loved, and right at home! I work remotely from 9–5 Monday through Friday, so I’m available every evening and on weekends for pet care. Since I work from home, I’m also happy to provide longer daytime stays or overnight care, as long as I’m able to work from your home. My flexible schedule allows me to give pets plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. I prioritize safety, comfort, and clear communication for every pet in my care. Before a booking, I like to learn about each pet’s routine, personality, dietary needs, medications, exercise preferences, and any potential concerns. I follow the pet parent’s instructions carefully and keep a close eye on pets so I can respond quickly if anything seems unusual. In a client’s home, I treat the space with the same care and respect I would my own. I keep doors, gates, and other escape routes secure, maintain a clean environment, and make sure pets have access to fresh water, food, and a comfortable place to rest. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so pet parents can feel confident while they’re away!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs at all stages of life. My experience ranges from young pets to senior care. It’s been an honor. I work part-time from home and have a flexible schedule. I live in close proximity to multiple Portland Trails and our home fronts the Fore River and boarders a sanctuary. I have a fenced yard and a friendly Yellow Lab named Uma, who lives for her next play date. She is respectful of senior dogs and puppies too. There’s lots of room to run around and play.

Throughout my life I have always been the family member or friend who was always asked to watch pets so I have plenty of experience with many species of animals! I am a recent college graduate and I am using the summer to build my career so I have plenty of time to look after your pets! Through my previous job at a doggy daycare, I have gained experience working with many different breeds of dogs and temperaments. I am also fear free certified so I use non-forceful or fearful tactics in handling pups!

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life—from Cavapoos to Corgis to Wheaten Terriors to Doodles, to Boxers! I’ve also had the pleasure of having a Goldendoodle of my own as well! My sweet pup was in an accident and required lots of specific care such as wound care and medication administration for many months. I am a very patient and dedicated pet sitter and will treat your pet like my own. I’ll keep them safe, make sure they get the attention they need, and assure that you get the updates you crave while away from your bestie. I absolutely love animals and I also know how challenging it can be to have peace of mind while maintaining your life responsibilities outside of your furry friends—I hope to have the opportunity to take that stress off of your plate! I’m currently in grad school for Speech Language Pathology (classes are online until January 2027) and work per diem at the hospital. I have two shifts per week serving at a restaurant in Portland as well, they are typically 6-8 hour shifts so if booked for an overnight, there may be a day or two that I am away for that amount of time! Otherwise, my schedule is super flexible and perfect for that mid day potty and play break! Safety is first! You tell me how you like things to go in your home and what makes your pet the most comfortable and I’ll make sure it happens! Let me know if your pet has any anxieties in public and I’ll keep in mind ways to keep them happy and calm on walkies!

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and have always considered pets part of the family. I grew up with dogs and currently spend lots of time with our family’s high-energy Blue Heeler mix, who keeps me active and reminds me how much enrichment, exercise, and attention dogs need to thrive. I’m also a lifelong cat lover. My 19-year-old cat recently passed away after many years together, and during his final years I provided extensive care, including managing daily medications and supporting him through several medical needs. I’m comfortable caring for senior pets and animals who need a little extra patience and attention. I currently volunteer walking dogs at the Animal Welfare Society, where I love getting to know dogs with all different personalities and energy levels. I especially enjoy working with active breeds who need extra exercise, mental stimulation, and adventure. If you have a high-energy dog who loves walks, exploring, or getting outside, I’d love to help! I’m happy to provide everything from neighborhood walks and drop-in visits to longer adventures like day hikes for dogs who are ready for a little more activity. I work full-time, so my availability is focused around evenings, weekends, holidays, and scheduled visits. I am available for overnight stays in your home, and I’m happy to provide cat sitting, drop-in visits, and care for pets who benefit from a little extra attention while you’re away. For dogs, I offer walks and visits during my available times, with a special love for active dogs who need exercise and enrichment. Weekends and holidays are great opportunities for longer walks, outdoor adventures, and extra quality time. I’m committed to providing dependable, thoughtful care that fits your pet’s routine and helps them feel comfortable while you’re away. My priority is making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re away from their family. I will follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, and their preferred ways of receiving attention. When caring for pets in their own home, I understand that maintaining their familiar environment and routine is often the most comforting option. I will treat your home with respect and provide updates so you know how your pet is doing. For pets staying in my home, I provide a calm, safe environment and tailor their experience to their individual personality. Cats will have a quiet space to settle in and, depending on their comfort level and my availability, can have supervised access to explore and interact. When I’m away, I prioritize safety by providing a secure, comfortable area where they can relax.

About: If begging my parents for a dog since birth counts, I’ve been a dog lover for 50+ years. In terms of actual pet ownership, I’ve owned and loved my cats and dogs for the past 25+ years. In addition to having my own fur family, I’ve also happily sat or walked my friends and families. I’m heading into retirement and will have oodles of time to keep your pets company while you’re at work or taking a fabulous vacation. I’m available for house sitting at any time. And currently available for dog walking Friday though Monday. In a few months, my dog walking schedule will free up to 3-4 days during the week. Having raised animals and kids, I know routines help everyone feel confident and safe. I respect whatever you know your animals need. As an example, if you need me to take them on long walks, cuddle on the couch, or bring them for a fetch and swim in the lake, I got you covered.

About: I’ve been an animal lover for my whole life! I have experience with dogs of many sizes and breeds, cats, cows, and chickens. Walking dogs is one of my favorite things to do. I have worked for a dog walking company for the past 3 years. Also, I have worked on multiple farms where I’ve cared for farm animals and dogs/cats. I will care for your pet as if they were my own! I’m working a remote part-time job which leaves me with plenty of time to walk dogs throughout the day and in the evening. Additionally, I have a very flexible schedule on the weekends. If I am caring for your pet in your home I will make sure to follow whatever schedule you have for them. I will take them out to play often and give them lots of love.
