I bring a lifelong love of animals and a wide range of hands-on experience. I grew up caring for animals of all kinds, have walked dogs and supported adoptions in shelter environments, and have provided reliable in-home care through years of house sitting. I’ve also lived with and fostered cats for most of my life—including young, feral, and undersocialized ones—which has given me a strong intuition for reading animal behavior and offering calm, compassionate care. I'm skilled in administering all types of medications and am happy to handle the day-to-day tasks, from walks to litter box deep cleans, with real care and attention.

When boarding cats in my home, I provide a calm, private room just for them—completely separate from my own cats—to ensure they feel safe and stress-free during their stay. In a client’s home, I’m attentive to any specific routines or safety needs, including crating dogs if requested. I always prioritize a pet’s comfort and well-being, keeping their environment clean, secure, and aligned with what they're used to.

Heather was amazing!! A kind presence and extremely dependable, she took Buddy for wonderful neighborhood walks and gave him great attention and care in our home. Buddy immediately felt comfortable with her. Would highly recommend and I hope we see her again!
I had a family emergency, and Heather went above and beyond to care for my cat Rasmo. I can't thank her enough for continuing to extend her time with him, and for her wonderful care. Normally when I get home Rasmo is always a little bit skinnier (a picky eater who knows well how to bend me to his will). This time he is as nicely dense as when I left him. Heather was responsive to questions and gave me lots of pix and videos of a very contented cat . I'm incredibly grateful to her and would not hesitate to hire her again - though hopefully for a more fun time away next time!
Heather's calm and tender care immediately put my cat Rasmo (and me) at ease, and they became fast friends right way. She was great about keeping in touch and providing pictures. I'd hire her again in a heartbeat!
My pup has a hard time trusting people and he LOVES heather. She is so attentive and gives the best updates. We are so so lucky to have her!!!
Heather did a tremendous job! Our dog is really nervous with new people and has very few people in his circle. She met him a few times the month leading up to her overnight with him. We expected him to keep his distance (as he usually does). She spent lots of time with him, gave him lots of treats and worked on gaining his trust. By the end he didn’t want her to leave! Heather works magic!

Schedule
As a self-employed person with a very flexible schedule, I’m able to accommodate pet care throughout the week—including weekdays, evenings, and weekends. This allows me to tailor my availability to meet the specific needs of each pet and household, whether it’s daily visits, drop-ins, or walks at off-peak hours.
