When we came home the house was spotless. You would have had no idea someone had been staying there for 4 days. She sent great daily updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind and let us see how happy and relaxed they were. One of our dogs is a bit skittish and can take time to warm up to new people, but Amy truly worked her magic — by the end, our pup loved her! About: Animals have always been the center of my world, from growing up with pets to pet-sitting countless dogs and cats across NYC. My two cats, August and Ivy, are the absolute loves of my life - My goal is simple: to provide your beloved pets with the exact same high standard of care, safety, and affection that my own two companions receive at home. I work in the office 3 days a week, but I have an hour for lunch and live only 7 min from my office. If close enough I will be able to check in midday as well as morning and after work. I have a fenced yard, though my cats are indoor only I have taken care of my neighbors dogs and enjoy playing fletch for round after round after round. I am organized and will have notes based on what you need for each drop in, will supply pictures, be there on time and stay the whole time. Having used rover myself I know how integral these things are!

Learning their schedules, quirks, and favorite walking spots helps me make them feel comfortable for extended stays. Energetic puppy? I’ll run around w them and tire them out. Senior dog? We can relax and go at their pace. What sets me apart is my intuition and caring heart. I have a flexible, remote job so I am able to stay with your pet as long as needed through the day and take them on frequent walks in the neighborhood good or to the dog park! I do live-in dogsitting/housesitting at the client’s house. I like to learn about your dog (how they like to play, chill, etc..) so I can make them feel as comfortable as possible.

What an absolute gem Hilary is! She stayed in our home with our elderly dog, Islay, for 12 days, including several days of a July heat wave. She provided empathetic, thoughtful care throughout, creatively problem-solved to help Islay get comfortable in the heat, administered daily meds (plus some extras to help keep Islay calm during July 4th fireworks), sent regular updates and photos, and stayed attuned to Islay’s signals and needs. We are very thankful to have found Hilary for our trip to visit family abroad, and we came home to a happy, healthy, and relaxed girl, plus a very tidy house (not necessary but always appreciated). Thank you so much, Hilary! Islay misses you already.

Tiffany was an amazing caretaker for our two cats and two dogs while we were away for a week. She was communicative, sent lots of photos, and truly got to know our pets. She followed their routine and made them feel safe and happy. She comforted the nervous pups through fireworks AND thunder in one night (the horror!!!) and left the house super tidy. We definitely hope to have her back!
Samantha did such a great job taking care of the dogs! Walking, snuggling, doing meds and generally helping them feel like they were home (they were!) and nothing had really changed (except I wasn't there). She sent me pictures of them so I could feel connected.
Justin was an absolute treasure! I came home to a very happy and tired little man. Justin was incredible at keeping me updated on the adventures of the day. My dog has pretty bad separation anxiety and Justin was very patient with Uncle Peanut after I left and managed to comfort him quickly. I cannot recommend him enough!!!!!
We had to leave town unexpectedly, and Jenna jumped in to help us on very short notice, which we were incredibly grateful for. Our dog Jun is a pretty anxious boy, so we were definitely nervous leaving him with someone without all of us meeting in person first, but Jenna immediately made us feel comfortable. She was super responsive, communicative, and thoughtful the whole time. Jun looked relaxed and comfy in the photos she sent, which really eased a lot of our stress while we were away. When we got back, he looked happy, healthy, and very well taken care of. Really grateful for how quickly she stepped in and took such great care of our furry boy. We’d absolutely book with her again.
Erin was absolutely wonderful and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away for a full week. She took incredible care of our two greyhounds and cat, kept up with all of their routines, and was extremely thoughtful and attentive the entire stay. We especially appreciated the regular photo and text updates — it made it so much easier to relax knowing everyone was happy, comfortable, and loved. She also took amazing care of our home, communicated clearly, and went above and beyond with little details like refreshing frozen Kongs, washing linens, and making sure the dogs were settled before leaving. One of our dogs has separation anxiety and had an accident while Erin was out, and she handled it with total kindness and understanding. You can tell she genuinely enjoys spending time with animals and pays attention to their personalities and needs. We came home to happy pets and a well cared-for house and would absolutely book with her again.
I had a family emergency, and Heather went above and beyond to care for my cat Rasmo. I can't thank her enough for continuing to extend her time with him, and for her wonderful care. Normally when I get home Rasmo is always a little bit skinnier (a picky eater who knows well how to bend me to his will). This time he is as nicely dense as when I left him. Heather was responsive to questions and gave me lots of pix and videos of a very contented cat . I'm incredibly grateful to her and would not hesitate to hire her again - though hopefully for a more fun time away next time!
