“Sergey was great! We hired him for house/dog sitting while we were away for a long weekend and he made it so easy for us. The dogs liked him, and he clearly gave them a lot of attention. When we came home the house was spotless. You would have had no idea someone had been staying there for 4 days. He was very easy to get ahold of, and followed up a few days before the booking to confirm and schedule a second meet & greet. Would absolutely recommend.”

About: Animals have always been the center of my world, from growing up with pets to pet-sitting countless dogs and cats across NYC. My two cats, August and Ivy, are the absolute loves of my life - My goal is simple: to provide your beloved pets with the exact same high standard of care, safety, and affection that my own two companions receive at home. I work in the office 3 days a week, but I have an hour for lunch and live only 7 min from my office. If close enough I will be able to check in midday as well as morning and after work. I have a fenced yard, though my cats are indoor only I have taken care of my neighbors dogs and enjoy playing fletch for round after round after round. I am organized and will have notes based on what you need for each drop in, will supply pictures, be there on time and stay the whole time. Having used rover myself I know how integral these things are!

About: I excel at making dogs feel calm and like their owners never even left the house. Learning their schedules, quirks, and favorite walking spots helps me make them feel comfortable for extended stays. Energetic puppy? I’ll run around w them and tire them out. Senior dog? We can relax and go at their pace. What sets me apart is my intuition and caring heart. I have a flexible, remote job so I am able to stay with your pet as long as needed through the day and take them on frequent walks in the neighborhood good or to the dog park! I do live-in dogsitting/housesitting at the client’s house. I like to learn about your dog (how they like to play, chill, etc..) so I can make them feel as comfortable as possible.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, and have been helping to care for them (walking, feeding, etc.) since I was around 10 years old. I’ve pet sit for many family friends throughout the years - dogs and cats alike. Recently I even housesat for 4 dogs and 2 cats all at the same time! I am a freelance writer, musician, and retail associate, so I’m able to make my own schedule a lot of the time. I’m free during the day Monday-Thursday to walk your pooch or for drop-in visits, and I’m available after work on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (I typically get off around 3-5 pm). “My husband, Tom, and I thought Sam was a very smart, kind, thoughtful, and a calm and experienced dog sitter. We would definitely have her, and her sweet golden retriever, Penney, stay her with our dog, Lola, again. We could tell Sam was very used to animals, she was attentive to Lola (she is a puppy), and while Sam was here watching her, Lola had no accidents. Sam brought some old toys with her for Lola to play with, which Were enjoyed. Sam also kept up Lola’s training which we really appreciated. We also loved getting updates and photos from Sam. She stayed at our home, and before we left, she came over twice to visit. She also offered to water the flowers on our porch and window boxes, and that was so helpful. Sam will be at the top of our list for watching Lola next time we are out-of-town. I would not hesitate to leave my dog or cat with her, or have her stay at my home again, she’s the best!”
