1. Sydney B.

“Sydney was absolutely wonderful and took great care of my pup. I was so grateful to find her on short notice, and really appreciate she made time to come by for a quick meet and greet before my trip. She kept me updated on how my pup was doing, and I came home to a happy, snoozy dog. I hope I’ll have a chance to work with Sydney again!”

2. Amy Y.

“We were skeptical about leaving our two dogs with anyone but familiar family members, as they can be a lot! One of our dogs is especially anxious around new people. Amy was great and came over to meet our dogs beforehand to help ease their (and our) anxiety. Amy stayed at our house for the weekend we were away and sent many updates, pictures and videos throughout the days. Amy was very knowledgeable on how to handle our fearful pup. She was patient, kind and gentle. We are very grateful we found Amy to watch our animals. We would definitely recommend Amy to others!”

3. Stephanie J.

“Stephanie was very responsive to any questions, and best of all the animals were all very calm when we got home. They usually are overly excited when we return from a trip so this was a relief. We feel she did a great job of looking after our 2 cats and dog.”

4. Viva L.

“Viva is a wonderful communicator, consistently sending photos and videos of my happy pup. This is my second booking with her. She’s reliable, has high energy and my home looks like she hasn’t been here. 🙂 Highly recommend viva and will continue to book with her.”

5. Sergey T.

“Sergey was terrific! He came by to meet our dog before the pet sitting appointment and was very patient and caring. He was on time and dependable. If we visit Portland again we will definitely ask for him to pet sit our dog again.”

6. Jeanelle D.

“Jeanelle took great care of our girl Gretchen while we were out of town for a few days. Very communicative with us and attentive to our pup. Highly recommend!”

7. Emily B.

“Emily was great! She was responsive, sent pictures and took great care of my dog for 5 days while I was traveling. She brought in my mail and my house was just the way I left it when ai got back. I had to book a pet sitter at the last minute and Emily was quick to respond and made herself available to come meet my dog before I left. I would definitely book her again.”

8. Jackiellen B.

“Jackiellen has been perfect for us every step of the way! She's an excellent communicator, flexible and accommodating, kind and considerate. She made the whole process super easy and worry-free. And maybe most importantly, she has a very natural connection with our dog and cat, from the first moments they met. We felt super confident leaving our animals in her care and will absolutely call her again. She asked good questions to be sure she was clear on everything needed. She took great photos and sent just the right amount of updates while we were away. She took great care of our home, leaving it even neater than she found it. Honestly, I can't recommend Jackiellen enough.”

9. Silvia C.

“The second Silvia stepped out of her car for the meeting, my dog loved her...and that's saying a lot, because he doesn't get along with every human. Silvia has a great personality, and my dog sensed it right away. She was great at getting to know Oliver's schedule and preferences. And she sent me lots of pictures and communicated when she had questions. Oliver had a great time, and I'd definitely ask Silvia back.”

10. Ayreal Z.

“Ayreal was amazing! She was super communicative and cared for our younger dog’s changing needs at every turn. She went above and beyond keeping our dog happy and our house in great shape while we were away. I couldn’t recommend her more and we will definitely use her again in the future!”

11. Bryan R.

“Bryan is terrific and so kind with our dogs. He knows how to make friends with them & then they are totally content. He knows how to care & be attentively present!”

12. Brian C.
About: *GREAT AT LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS* Trying to establish a customer base, so prices are LOW and we can lock them in going forward. Im a great dog dad and genuinely love all animals. I have two dogs at home. A 12 year old chocolate lab and a 3 year old yellow lab. They have been with me since they were puppies and they are my best buds and two incredible dogs. Were often at capisic park pond daily, jewels falls, the beach, or a variety of different trails. We don't go places that require a dog leash as my dogs are trained fully off leash, and that's what they are used to. I of course would walk your dog on a leash if preferred, especially until a relationship is established. They are the happiest friendliest dogs. Perfect for a third to join us if you would like your dog to socialize, its an option for sure. I'm kind and love dogs so much but we have expectations and rules to follow in order to have a good time. I'm a teacher here in Portland and am available after school at 3pm, and open on the weekends. I'm a single man, so I am available to house sit overnight. I treat pets with the upmost respect and care for them like humans. My dogs are equal in my home and have the best quality food and treats, exercise 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and sleep (take over) my bed nightly. I respect dogs well being and put that as my top priority. I talk to my dogs all the time, anticipate their needs, and am very loving, yet at the same time have rules and expectations for them to follow. I'm very good at explaining things to my dogs if they need correction with a firm voice and a loving approach.

13. Yiran Z.

“Yiran took excellent care of Tugg! Highly recommend! AAA+++ Thank you!”

14. Crystal T.

“Crystal watched my pup for a weekend when I took a last-minute trip out of town. She was communicative and sent pictures of my happy dog throughout the weekend, which made me feel so at ease. I came home to a relaxed dog and my apartment was even cleaner than when I left it! Would hire Crystal again.”

15. Kathryn M.
“Our dog is a couch potato who just wants company, but also finds some things like walks scary. We thought she might prefer a house sitter, instead of boarding. Being our first time having someone stay at our home, we didn't know what to expect. But Kathryn was very laid back, prompt and communicative. She sent a daily update with photo and left the house clean. She made the whole experience easy. We trust her with our home and dog, we would book with her again!”

16. Katey B.

“We just had Katey stay for 9 nights at my home with our Lab, Henry and my cat, Kitty. She did an amazing job. She walked Henry twice a day and took care of watering our garden and taking in mail and packages. She sent great pics and reports each day, which I loved! A most fun tidbit: We recently moved from Pennsylvania to Maine, and she actually used to be my petsitter in Pennsylvania! She just happened to move to Maine a year before us! Small world wonders… We’re so happy to have her as our petsitter once again!”

17. Samantha V.

“My husband, Tom, and I thought Sam was a very smart, kind, thoughtful, and a calm and experienced dog sitter. We would definitely have her, and her sweet golden retriever, Penney, stay her with our dog, Lola, again. We could tell Sam was very used to animals, she was attentive to Lola (she is a puppy), and while Sam was here watching her, Lola had no accidents. Sam brought some old toys with her for Lola to play with, which Were enjoyed. Sam also kept up Lola’s training which we really appreciated. We also loved getting updates and photos from Sam. She stayed at our home, and before we left, she came over twice to visit. She also offered to water the flowers on our porch and window boxes, and that was so helpful. Sam will be at the top of our list for watching Lola next time we are out-of-town. I would not hesitate to leave my dog or cat with her, or have her stay at my home again, she’s the best!”

18. Solomon D.
“If you have a high energy dog that requires a lot of exercise, he's your man. Solomon is kind to all creatures, dependable and trustworthy, with a positive attitude.”

19. Madeleine L.

“Madeline the best dogsitter I’ve ever had. My pup, Piglet, is slow to warm up and incredibly anxious and Madeline went above and beyond to meet Piglet on her terms and make her comfortable. They quickly became best friends. Madeline was super communicative with me, sending updates and pictures and you could tell she truly loved Piglet even though it was her first time watching her. She also did great at walking her, giving her meals twice a day and her complex array of medications. And she left my house cleaner and nicer than I left it for her. I cannot recommend Madeline enough.”

20. Bret L.
“Bret accepted our short notice booking and stopped by for a meet & greet before we headed out for a weekend trip, which was great. Our pets are currently pretty low maintenance but it was important for us to have someone stay the weekend while we had some R&R. We’d have Bret back on a future vacation.”
