About: I’ve taken care of dogs at all stages of life. My experience ranges from young pets to senior care. It’s been an honor. I work part-time from home and have a flexible schedule. I live in close proximity to multiple Portland Trails and our home fronts the Fore River and boarders a sanctuary. I have a fenced yard and a friendly Yellow Lab named Uma, who lives for her next play date. She is respectful of senior dogs and puppies too. There’s lots of room to run around and play.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life—from Cavapoos to Corgis to Wheaten Terriors to Doodles, to Boxers! I’ve also had the pleasure of having a Goldendoodle of my own as well! My sweet pup was in an accident and required lots of specific care such as wound care and medication administration for many months. I am a very patient and dedicated pet sitter and will treat your pet like my own. I’ll keep them safe, make sure they get the attention they need, and assure that you get the updates you crave while away from your bestie. I absolutely love animals and I also know how challenging it can be to have peace of mind while maintaining your life responsibilities outside of your furry friends—I hope to have the opportunity to take that stress off of your plate! I’m currently in grad school for Speech Language Pathology (classes are online until January 2027) and work per diem at the hospital. I have two shifts per week serving at a restaurant in Portland as well, they are typically 6-8 hour shifts so if booked for an overnight, there may be a day or two that I am away for that amount of time! Otherwise, my schedule is super flexible and perfect for that mid day potty and play break! Safety is first! You tell me how you like things to go in your home and what makes your pet the most comfortable and I’ll make sure it happens! Let me know if your pet has any anxieties in public and I’ll keep in mind ways to keep them happy and calm on walkies!

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and have always considered pets part of the family. I grew up with dogs and currently spend lots of time with our family’s high-energy Blue Heeler mix, who keeps me active and reminds me how much enrichment, exercise, and attention dogs need to thrive. I’m also a lifelong cat lover. My 19-year-old cat recently passed away after many years together, and during his final years I provided extensive care, including managing daily medications and supporting him through several medical needs. I’m comfortable caring for senior pets and animals who need a little extra patience and attention. I currently volunteer walking dogs at the Animal Welfare Society, where I love getting to know dogs with all different personalities and energy levels. I especially enjoy working with active breeds who need extra exercise, mental stimulation, and adventure. I’m happy to provide everything from neighborhood walks and drop-in visits to longer adventures like day hikes for dogs who are ready for a little more activity. I work full-time, so my availability is focused around evenings, weekends, holidays, and scheduled visits. I am available for overnight stays in your home, and I’m happy to provide cat sitting, drop-in visits, and care for pets who benefit from a little extra attention while you’re away. For dogs, I offer walks and visits during my available times, with a special love for active dogs who need exercise and enrichment. Weekends and holidays are great opportunities for longer walks, outdoor adventures, and extra quality time. I’m committed to providing dependable, thoughtful care that fits your pet’s routine and helps them feel comfortable while you’re away. My priority is making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re away from their family. I will follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, and their preferred ways of receiving attention. When caring for pets in their own home, I understand that maintaining their familiar environment and routine is often the most comforting option. I will treat your home with respect and provide updates so you know how your pet is doing. For pets staying in my home, I provide a calm, safe environment and tailor their experience to their individual personality. Cats will have a quiet space to settle in and, depending on their comfort level and my availability, can have supervised access to explore and interact. When I’m away, I prioritize safety by providing a secure, comfortable area where they can relax.

About: I have two years of experience working in a doggy daycare facility and over 13 years of experience providing more intimate in-home care for families. I have worked with young animals to seniors and understand the patience that is required while working with animals. For previous families, I have provided drop-in visits, including walks and playtime, and provided longer-term overnight care, including feedings, supplements and medication, and all the loving attention. I, too, have been a pet parent to: dogs, cats, ferrets, parrots, and fish, to name a few, so I understand how important it is to find a sitter you feel comfortable with, who connects with your pet(s), and who takes care of your animals and your home. I currently own and run a small private wellness practice in Portland, which gives me flexibility with my schedule some days. With enough notice, I can commit to specific morning or mid-day time frames I may be needed for drop-in care, walks, or feedings. Unfortunately, I am not available for boarding at my house, overnight stay care, or evening drop-ins since I have two senior miniature dachshunds and a 6-month old baby whom I have to pick up from day care. In the past - for overnight care or boarding, I preferred to arrange a time for me to meet with you and your furbaby before deciding if I am a good fit for what you need. For walks/mid-morning or mid-day drop ins, I’m open to discussing details over the phone before meeting in person.

About: I have pet sat for neighbors, friends and family for six years where I was responsible for walking and feeding their animals. I grew up with an Australian Shepherd and have been walking dogs since I was 10. I am an Elementary School Teacher so I am looking for something part time or full time for the summer months. I am also looking to continue my services when the school year starts in September. I currently have two cats of my own who get along very well with other animals. My parents dog stays with me as well on some weekends. I have a large park near my apartment and my parents dog really enjoys running around there. I am an elementary school teacher, so I will be available mostly full time during the summer months and then I will transition into a part time schedule when school starts back up in the fall. I have two cats of my own, so your pet will have fur friends to play with when/ if they stay at my home. Right next to my home I have a large park that residents take their pets to. I would also love to take your pet to a nearby dog park, that way they can socialize in a safe space!
