About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life, and especially love taking dogs on walks where they get to lead with their noses. I wish I could get a pet right now but since I can’t, I love helping out other pet owners to get my dog and cat fix! I just moved to Portland and am applying for work in conservation and/or education, so have a very open schedule as I continue my job search. I am usually gone on weekends out in the woods somewhere, but am around the city on weekdays! I cannot host pets in my home, but will happily visit your home and make sure to follow all pet care instructions you leave for me!

I grew up with dogs and currently spend lots of time with our family’s high-energy Blue Heeler mix, who keeps me active and reminds me how much enrichment, exercise, and attention dogs need to thrive. I’m also a lifelong cat lover. My 19-year-old cat recently passed away after many years together, and during his final years I provided extensive care, including managing daily medications and supporting him through several medical needs. I’m comfortable caring for senior pets and animals who need a little extra patience and attention. I currently volunteer walking dogs at the Animal Welfare Society, where I love getting to know dogs with all different personalities and energy levels. I especially enjoy working with active breeds who need extra exercise, mental stimulation, and adventure. I’m happy to provide everything from neighborhood walks and drop-in visits to longer adventures like day hikes for dogs who are ready for a little more activity. I am available for overnight stays in your home, and I’m happy to provide cat sitting, drop-in visits, and care for pets who benefit from a little extra attention while you’re away. For dogs, I offer walks and visits during my available times, with a special love for active dogs who need exercise and enrichment. I will treat your home with respect and provide updates so you know how your pet is doing. For pets staying in my home, I provide a calm, safe environment and tailor their experience to their individual personality. Cats will have a quiet space to settle in and, depending on their comfort level and my availability, can have supervised access to explore and interact. When I’m away, I prioritize safety by providing a secure, comfortable area where they can relax.

About: I have cared for dogs of all sizes from 10lbs to 100+ lbs, ages puppy to senior, all with various temperaments, energy levels and medical needs. I’ve also cared for many cats ranging from 2 years old to 13 years old I’m a middle school teacher on summer break with A LOT of availability. I regularly free weekdays during the day through the evening and even available at night and through the night most days of the week. I have a large fenced in yard with that’s mostly shaded by surrounding trees. With easy access from a back deck. We also have a screened in porch for good airflow on hotter days. I live in a nice and walkable neighborhood and I regularly visit local walking/hiking trails in the area.

About: I have had a family dog(s) since I was 16, who I would take care of: walking, cleaning, feeding and playing. Since leaving home I have watched over friends' dogs. I love to be around all animals, but especially dogs. It is extremely easy for me to incorporate taking care of dogs in my schedule, I work from home which allows me to give unlimited attention: such as play time, cuddles/pets, even teaching new tricks! I have successfully taught my friends' dogs tricks such as sit, paw, down, jump, and spin! I truly enjoy the companionship of dogs, and would give every dog so much love. I work from home and have flexibility to play and watch your dog. If they need to be let out to go potty or simply need some fresh air, I can make that happen with my schedule. I enjoy taking walks throughout my day, which would be perfect for your dog. I have a secure apartment, with two roommates who are also dog lovers and also sitters on Rover. The dogs that have been at our apartment are never alone and always have access to unlimited love! We all love to incorporate dogs to our home and living environment, they truly make us happier! We make it a priority to foster a supportive environment and we keep our apartment clean and picked up to make sure it is safe for the dogs.
