**I have much more daytime availability/flexibility for the summer- please reach out to see if my schedule and your pet care needs align** :) I work full time during the week, but I have availability for walks, drop ins, and potentially boarding on the weekends (with some possibility for evening availability depending on your specific needs).

I have one large dog. He is a 6 year old Great Pyrenees. I would require a meet and greet for all pets that are interested in boarding and would prefer a crate for dogs that will be boarded. The safety of the dogs in my care is my top priority. I walk my dog 2-3 times per day, have a long line for extra outdoor time, and would be happy to take your dog out as often as needed. At this time, I am prioritizing drop ins/walks in your home, as dogs tend to feel the safest in their own environment :)

Information Anna K. would like to know about your pet
I think the most important thing to learn about any animal before sitting them would be if they have any aggressive behaviors towards other dogs or humans (and if so, how they present and what triggers them). I also love to know about their typical routine, their favorite toy, and any other special instructions that may be unique to each pet.
A typical day
Exercise (both physical and mental) is so important for dogs! I take my dog for multiple walks each day and make sure to also work his brain through play and training experiences. I enjoy being active and running, hiking, and camping with my dog. When I was in college I even had a job to run with a yellow lab twice a week. I also enjoy taking my dogs to the lake for extra space to play, swim, and socialize. I would love to enjoy runs, hikes, or dog parks with your dog upon request! I know my dog also enjoys puzzle toys and these can be great for dogs who are missing their humans, so I would be happy to give your dogs any special toys or treats that you have for them!

Please reach out to discuss my availability :) I have owned dogs my whole life and currently have a 6 year old Great Pyrenees, who I adopted 5 years ago. I grew up with many dogs with various personalities and needs (labs, golden retrievers, shepherds, and a heeler mix). I also grew up with a cat for 15 years and love all animals. I spend most of my free time engaging with and caring for my dog. We often go hiking, camping, or play with our friend's dogs. I have expansive experience caring for other people's children and pets since I was 12 years old. This includes overnight stays and recurring house visits for dog walks and runs, playtime, and feeding. I would love to speak more and answer any questions you may have about my experience or availability!
