“Sergey stayed at my house for a long weekend with my 5-month-old pup. He was very responsive and responsible, and my dog loved him! He alerted me about a small medical problem during my absence and updated me the next day. I wouldn't hesitate to ask him to care for Archie again.”

“Renee was great, checking in with questions when needed. One of my dogs is more needy and she let me know so I could offer suggestions. I've invited her to come back and she said yes, so that's a good sign!”

“This was our second time having Madeleine care for our dog while we were traveling. I cannot say enough good things about her. She takes such great care of our dog as well as our home. She goes above and beyond!”

“Colby provided excellent care for our two dogs! He was easy to chat with ahead of our trip and communicative while we were away - we appreciated getting updates. Colby was tasked with administering medication to our younger dog and he did so reliably. Pups were happy when we returned and had clearly received good care. We will certainly hire Colby again!”

“John was an awesome pupsitter and we would definitely hire him again! He was communicative, thorough, and very attentive to our 2 dogs over the course of the week that he watched them. Highly recommend him!”

“Brook is AMAZING! Super sweet, great communication and she took the BEST care of my sweet kitty Lily, who loved her! Brook will be our go-to from now on — so grateful to her!”

“Ryan was amazing!! Wonderful communicator!! Sent pics and kept me updated which makes me feel such comfort! House was left even cleaner than I left it too. Such a kind person I can’t wait to book again! Thank you!!”

“Samantha is so incredible!!! The most wonderful, thoughtful, kind, respectful sitter you could ever hope for!!! The animals love her, and she takes amazing photos too!!! Above and beyond, she is the best!!”

“We would absolutely book Kayla again! She was incredibly communicative throughout, and from the photos she sent, it was clear our dog was happy and comfortable with her—his wagging tail said it all. Since he's not typically used to being around others, we were thrilled with how well he settled in. Kayla was also very accommodating to all of our requests. Thank you, Kayla!”

About: Longtime dog lover and owner, current parent of a 9-year-old Siberian Husky service dog whom I trained to myself. I love dogs of all sizes and shapes and personalities and I can't wait to meet all the wonderful furkids that I'll be looking after in the future. I'm always telling people "I may have trouble remembering your name, but I will always remember your pet's name." Though I am small in stature I'm actually quite strong and can handle large/muscular dogs (and the occasional feral cat when necessary), because I just know how to move with them/guide them. I'm also not intimidated by aggressive behavior in animals, nor do I meet it with aggression in return. I always try to calm the animal and figure out the issue, putting myself between them and anyone/anything that might upset them further. I have a personality/presence that dogs seem to love, from the timid to the social, the calm to the active. I'm a fast walker, so your dog will certainly get a workout they'll love as they keep pace with me, but I can also meander when needed for the older dogs and fumbling puppies. I have experience doing basic grooming for dogs: bathing, brushing, shaving away mats, clipping nails, trimming the fur between pawpads, brushing teeth, and cleaning ears. I do not have experience doing "style" cuts for dogs. I know snake pet care as well, so feel free to inquire if you need someone to look after your danger noodle! Pet care is my primary work focus right now as I work through completing my online schooling towards getting my degree and Vet Tech licence. I have a backyard for your dog to play in alongside my very friendly Husky. It's not fenced in, but I keep a spare long-lead on-hand, same kind as I use for my girl, for guest dogs. If your dog is an especially strong one please let me know and I'll make sure to have an lead appropriate for your dogs weight strength available. Inside the house is dog-friendly and spacious, and I can crate your dog if needed. My dog is allowed on the couch and my bed, so do let me know if those are no-go areas for your dog. If your cat likes outside time I can provide walks and/or put them out in the backyard on the spare long-lead.
“Celine was a very gracious sitter, taking her time with our pets and giving them the patience they needed while we were out of town. It was our first time having someone sit over and she's set the bar extremely high! Thank you again, Celine!”

“Elise was so caring and supportive of our pup, Juniper! She provided us with really lovely photos and updates, and clearly made Juniper feel safe and loved. We highly recommend her!”

“Jessica was punctual and easy to communicate with (before and during), sharing pics of our dogs almost immediately to reassure us that all was well. Jessica was also very attentive to our dogs' individual needs, including separation anxiety and caution towards new people. Thank you!”

“Lynne is fantastic. She is a super communicator and provides videos/photos every day. Our house was cleaned up when we arrived home and she even stripped the bedding. We will hire Lynne again for sure.”

“Amy was a wonderful cat sitter! She communicated consistently throughout our time away and provided frequent updates and adorable pictures, which gave us such peace of mind. She made sure our kitty received plenty of love, pets, and snuggles, and it was clear that he was very well cared for while we were gone. Amy also kept his area clean, made sure his water bowls were filled, and took great care of his litter box. We truly appreciated how attentive and thoughtful she was. We would absolutely recommend Amy and will definitely reach out to her again for future sitting needs!”

Celine is such a fabulous sitter. She takes great care of our two pups - in all the updates and photos she sends, they look happy as can be. She leaves the house tidy, sends regular notes about their day, and is super responsive and communicative. We feel really lucky to have her looking after our little ones - thanks, Celine, for all that you do!

Destiny was incredibly knowledgeable, capable, and thoughtful watching my dog. I'd never left my dog with anyone before, so I wasn't sure exactly how it would go, but Destiny did a great job following all of our routines, keeping my dog enriched, and sent really through updates every day. I would recommend Destiny to anyone looking for a dog sitter or walker.

Shirley is truly wonderful, I am so grateful we found her! She spent the entire day and evening with our pups (one who couldn’t be left alone), and it gave me such peace of mind to know they were being cared for by someone who clearly loves animals and is kind, thoughtful, attuned to their needs - everything you’d hope for in a pet sitter. Shirley is communicative, super friendly, professional, and a lovely person. I look forward to having her hang out with our pups again, and would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

Tiffany was great! We had a special situation where our dog had just had TPLO surgery and he needed to stay at home supervised at all times, but we had to go to a family BBQ. He can be reactive with people who push his boundaries or have the wrong body language, so she came over for a meet and greet (it went great, he turned into a puddle for her), and then she "house sat" for us for 7 hours, keeping him calm and happy and still while we were gone. Never had to use rover for dog-babysitting but was glad she helped me figure it out!
