About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, and have been helping to care for them (walking, feeding, etc.) since I was around 10 years old. I’ve pet sit for many family friends throughout the years - dogs and cats alike. Recently I even housesat for 4 dogs and 2 cats all at the same time! My family dogs both recently passed away and I’ve been looking for something to fill the whole in my heart. Would love to take care of your pets! I am a freelance writer, musician, and retail associate, so I’m able to make my own schedule a lot of the time. I’m free during the day Monday-Thursday to walk your pooch or for drop-in visits, and I’m available after work on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (I typically get off around 3-5 pm). About: Ever since I was born, my family always had dogs in the house as they would often provide foster care, we also ended up adopting a few of them! When I was older, around 14, I began looking after and caring for animals from my friends and family. Because of this, I have great experience with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, reptiles and even pigs! I'm currently searching for a new job - so I have plenty of time to fit in animal care daily. For the meantime, I treat this as my part-time job! I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex. My apartment has doors separate my room and the kitchen, so its easy for me to watch animals within my space. There is also an enclosed outdoor area for easy walks!

About: My first job was at Mainely Dog, a doggy daycare where I fed and entertained groups of dogs-all sizes and personalities. I’ve grown up with many dogs in my family. We also fostered and took in dogs with behavioral difficulties, even had up to 5 dogs at once so I’m used to handling multiple dogs at a time! I currently work a part time job where I work 3-4 days a week from 4:30-10:30 so I am available the rest of those days and my days off. About: For many years in San Francisco, I was a house and Pet Sitter. It started off with just doing it for friends and then word got around and I had a couple of regular gigs. I’ve been an animal lover all my life and have owned several different types since I was a child. I have a 13 year-old daughter who also loves animals and would love to accompany me at times if you are OK with that too. Hello, I currently work part-time so I have most mornings and evenings to feed, walk and play with your critters. I live in Portland so prefer things that are in the town or nearby. I am open to house sits and boarding animals within 45 minutes of Portland. I do have two cats so if I am boarding, they need to be OK with that. If at your home… I will do your routine for the animals. If at my home…I currently live in a large house, I have a yard that is not fenced in that they can go out to the bathroom and on leash in, as well as the Back cove two blocks away and a safe residential neighborhood to walk in. I love taking dogs to dog parks and on adventures to walking trails and beaches. I have two cats that have been around other animals and after warming up seem to do well coexisting.

Samantha did such a great job taking care of the dogs! Walking, snuggling, doing meds and generally helping them feel like they were home (they were!) and nothing had really changed (except I wasn't there). She sent me pictures of them so I could feel connected.
We had to leave town unexpectedly, and Jenna jumped in to help us on very short notice, which we were incredibly grateful for. Our dog Jun is a pretty anxious boy, so we were definitely nervous leaving him with someone without all of us meeting in person first, but Jenna immediately made us feel comfortable. She was super responsive, communicative, and thoughtful the whole time. Jun looked relaxed and comfy in the photos she sent, which really eased a lot of our stress while we were away. When we got back, he looked happy, healthy, and very well taken care of. Really grateful for how quickly she stepped in and took such great care of our furry boy. We’d absolutely book with her again.
Alyson spent two weeks house/pet sitting for us while we were traveling around Japan and we came home to a happy dog and spotless house! She is wonderful to work with and navigated a tricky situation that came up involving a neighbor’s dog (dog inappropriately on our property, 100% neighbor’s fault) perfectly. We’ve worked with Jackiellen before and she’s been great with our furry guy every time. He can be anxious, and she’s always been patient, calm, and really understanding with him. Johanna did an excellent job taking care of my senior dog GiGi! She is very responsible and reliable. Johanna is lovely. Another Rover house sitter, whom I had booked months in advance of my prepaid resort vacation, was unable to fulfill her obligation- just one week prior to my departure. Johanna was a lifesaver! She immediately accepted the house sitting job. GiGi is very particular about her daily schedule and Johanna had no problem following all the detailed instructions. I came home to a very happy pooch and a house in perfect order- just as I’d left it. I’m about to book her for another upcoming trip. I had a family emergency, and Heather went above and beyond to care for my cat Rasmo. I can't thank her enough for continuing to extend her time with him, and for her wonderful care. Normally when I get home Rasmo is always a little bit skinnier (a picky eater who knows well how to bend me to his will). This time he is as nicely dense as when I left him. Heather was responsive to questions and gave me lots of pix and videos of a very contented cat . I'm incredibly grateful to her and would not hesitate to hire her again - though hopefully for a more fun time away next time!
Shannon was an angel! Odie ended up really sick and needed to go to the emergency vet. Shannon took him, and took such good care of him the following days! She administered meds, cooked him rice and chicken and was his champion the whole time! I cant recommend her enough. She was amazing! I was so lucky she was there to take such great care of my baby!
Savannah clearly loves animals and took good care of my pup who is anxious and has some daily medications. She was communicative and sent lots of pictures! It put my mind at ease knowing how well cared for my pup was. The house was very clean and neat as I had left it when I got back as well!
