I currently work during the day at an elementary school, Monday - Friday. My availability during the week is limited to afternoon/evenings. During the summer months (starting in later June), my schedule opens up to morning, afternoon and evenings. Weekends, I am typically available morning, afternoon and evenings. I will try to be as flexible as I can be to work with your schedule!

I love to interact with your dog(s) both mentally and physically. We always go for a nice walk, depending on the dog's activity level, and then spend time at home playing with toys and interacting. It is important to not only physically provide your dog(s) with activity, but to mentally stimulate them and have them feel comfortable and content each visit.

My life has been filled with the joy of both dogs and cats. As a child, I grew up with Collies and adopted my first cat in college. In my adult life, my husband and I have raised a black lab/golden retriever, three Great Pyrenees and five cats. Our current household is with our beloved 14 year old Great Pyrenees, Dolly and our two cats, Licorice and Ken. My love and care for my own pets is something that I would like to offer now to others. I am a dedicated pet owner and enjoy taking my own dog for daily walks every day, and enjoy spending quality time with my indoor cats. I am comfortable with all breeds, sizes and ages of both dogs and cats and would love to offer my love and care to your fur babies!

Melissa is the best! She has cared for my senior cat for several years and I always have great peace of mind knowing he is in good hands. Melissa spends time hanging out with my kitty and he really enjoys her company. She sends me lots of wonderful pictures and updates. I highly recommend her.
Melissa agreed to check on my kitties last minute and I'm very grateful for it! She always sends pictures and a detailed check-in. The cats run to meet her - even my skittish one!
Melissa is the best!! She always makes us feel so at ease when we need to leave our senior cat. She does a fantastic job administering her meds, and always goes above and beyond. We feel so lucky to have found her!!
