Chad P. & Amy W.
“Chad and Amy are great and my dog was comfortable with them right away. Chad stayed with our dog for a couple of nights and did a fantastic job. He played with my dog regularly, sent pictures, and communication was excellent. We were able to enjoy a weekend away knowing our dog was well taken care of. We highly recommend Chad and Amy!”

Crystal T.
“She’s great with my pets, I have one dog and two cats. She’s watched them on long periods of time while I was out of town. Very reliable!”

Caitlin S.

“Caitlin was amazing! She stayed at our house for a whole week with our dog. She was very communicative and responsive which allowed us to relax while away. She dealt with some unexpected situations that were out of her control and handled them promptly and professionally. We will absolutely use her again to watch Jaz!”

Madison B.
“Madison helped us out on 2 back to back trips and did a wonderful job! Our boys Magnus and Nico adored her. There were mishaps (on the dogs part) that she handled with expertise. We would hire her again in a heartbeat!”

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs throughout my life. From simple bathroom trips to dog sitting a couple weeks. Always cautious when bringing pets into new situations. I have a pretty open schedule right now so I’m welcoming all bookings. If there is a scheduling conflict I will let you know right away. I cannot watch dogs in my apartment but I can have cats. I can take the dogs for walks and play with them at your home

Terra B.

“Terra is wonderful! Our animals were well cared for during our vacation, would absolutely recommend. Thank you so much, Terra!”

Lily G.

“Lily was an excellent house sitter and took great care of Maverick. She was highly responsive, provided detailed updates with photos and videos, followed instructions to a T and asked great questions. Maverick seemed to have a great time as well. Having Lily at our house gave us great peace of mind and she is an excellent sitter who we'd love to work with again!”

Tyler J.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, ducks, horses, and chickens. My love of animals runs deep starting with my first dog, Duke the English Shepherd. I’ve always been a care taker and I’d love to provide kind and reliable care for your pets. I’m currently working part time, so I am wide open seven days a week! Very flexible with any time of the day that is needed for your pet. I treat other’s homes and spaces with respect and treat all pets like they’re my own. When caring for a pet, I provide exercise, enrichment, and very good ear scratches.

Jennifer D.

“Jen was so good with our dog Olivia! Our senior girl is about 13 and Jen knew exactly what she needed: short walks, potty breaks, treats, and attention. Jen is just a great person and animal lover. Highly recommend her!”

Amy Y.

“Sophie loved spending time with Amy and she was very communicative throughout the stay! Will definitely book again next time I go out of town”

Alyson P.

“Alyson was really incredible. She took really great care of our high energy dog, Lola. She kept her busy and happy and kept us fully up to date on all activity which was wanted given it was our first time using Rover. Will absolutely be using again and reaching out to Alyson first.”

Lisa N.
“Lisa, my rescue 5-year-old corgi-Jack Russell, and I were housemates for a few months, so I saw her love and care of dogs daily. She was always very careful, kind, and attentive to Spock, even when she was working from home. She was solicitous, refilling his water bowl when it got low and I didn't notice, and a confident loose leash dog walker when she'd offer to take Spock out. She'd always check with me if he could have treats, and did basic obedience with Spock when dishing out the cookies (sit, lie down, etc.). When we'd go for walks-- and Lisa walks a lot, a higher energy pooch's dream parent!-- she was always patient with Spock's frequent marking and sniffing stops, and she kept an eye out for potential chewing/choking hazards (dead crabs! deer scat!) on the sidewalks and trails. I was always shocked and delighted that even when Lisa was in a hurry to get somewhere, she'd dash across the street to give my neighbor's 1 year old Golden Retriever, Lucky, some playtime and belly rubs, since he's frequently out in his Invisible Fence looking lonely. Lisa is also a regular pet sitter for two of her friends’ dogs up the coast and talks of both of them fondly. She’s an amazing pet caregiver to dogs of all shapes and sizes and is also familiar with cat-dog siblingships from her many years with a big dog and two cats. Although I didn't know Lisa when she had Bella, the beloved golden/lab mix and Good Girl who passed away two years ago after a good long life since puppyhood with Lisa, I've been fortunate to hear many stories about Bella's upbringing and life with Lisa, and privy to the videos and photos Lisa made of Bella and keeps on her phone and prominently displayed in her home. Bella was introduced to neighborhood dogs, cats, and humans, and greatly beloved by all, so much so the neighbors had a framed photo of Bella in their hallway! I credit some of this to Lisa being a doting, responsible, and generous dog mom. Lisa was so devoted to Bella that she contracted integrative medicine practitioners in addition to conventional veterinary care to ease Bella's pain when she got sick and help her to have the best end of life possible. Trading stories about obedience school, crate training, potty training, food and treat types, grooming, and daily life with Bella compared to my own rescue dog, I'm completely convinced Lisa is a caring, responsive caregiver who builds in plenty of structure, healthy boundaries, socialization, play, love, and snuggle space using her years of knowledge. Lisa is a bona fide dog person who understands safety and love. She would have done anything for Bella from 8 weeks old to her end and beyond, and I'm sure will do anything to build the best, healthiest, longest life for the next dog who comes into her life through Rover or otherwise.”

Zanae B.
“Zanae is a hard working and reliable person with a strong love for animals whether it’s her own are not. I think she would be a great candidate for the position”

Molly H.

“Molly house sat for a long weekend and was very communicative while I was away. My dog and house were in great hands! Will definitely use Molly again in the future.”

Claudia M.
About: I've taken care of dogs for at least 7 years, both in my home as a family pet (washing, walking, playing, feeding), and taking care of I work a flexible schedule in-between 7-3 or 9-5, which means depending on your needs I can walk your dog in the mornings, lunch times, afternoon, or evenings. I'm available to house sit after 3PM on weekdays, Saturday Mornings, and all day on Sundays. A healthy, active ,and mentally stimulated dog is a happy dog. I plan to keep them entertained by playing with their approved toys only, and only feeding them their own treats and meals. I believe its critical to be aware that some dogs can have hypersensitivities. When being out in public; at the park or walking on the street it is critical to be aware of possible safety concerns, overall surroundings, and how the dog I am caring for may react to them.

mackenzie b.

“Mackenzie was fantastic!! She was responsive, kind, and cared for my senior dog so well! It was my first time using anyone from this app, and I’m so thankful for linking up with her. She gave my dog his medicine and managed his old age quirks so well. Highly recommend!!!”

Erin K.

“Erin was amazing while I was at work and my dog needed to watched. She spent all day with him and brought him to the dog park and walks as needed.”

Danielle O.

“Danielle was fantastic, great communication. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to book her services again.”

Carla V.

“Carla was wonderful with our dog and cat. Our elderly cat, Ellie, was in her final stages of life, but we felt comfortable leaving her with Carla, who updated us daily, or more, on her declining health. Unfortunately, we said goodbye to Ellie the day we got home. But, we're glad she was with such a caring person her final week of life. We would enthusiastically recommend Carla as your pet sitter.”

Lynne S.

“Lynne was amazing! She stayed at our house in July while we were traveling for a week. This was the first time for us to leave our puppy overnight, so needless to say, we were a bit worried about how our 13-month-old pup would do without us. Lynne immediately put both the dog and us at ease. Throughout the week, she sent us pictures and quick updates. We met up with Lynne again a few days after our trip and the dog was super happy to see her. We will definitely reach out to her again when we need somebody to watch our dog.”
