About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. I grew up with a cat who was much more than a pet—because I didn’t have any brothers or sisters, she was my best friend and constant companion. Later, after meeting my husband, who had a dog, I discovered how much joy dogs bring and how different, fun, and rewarding it is to spend time with them. Now that my own children are older and more independent, I finally have some time to do something I’ve wanted for a while: care for other people’s dogs. About: I’ve been an animal lover for my whole life! I have experience with dogs of many sizes and breeds, cats, cows, and chickens. Walking dogs is one of my favorite things to do. I have worked for a dog walking company for the past 3 years. Also, I have worked on multiple farms where I’ve cared for farm animals and dogs/cats. I will care for your pet as if they were my own! About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of family and friends since I was in my teens, but more extensively in college and since. For 3 years I boarded and sat for three different family friends. I’ve personally helped raise 3 dogs and 2 cats. I’ve even helped herd sheep and tamed alpacas! I work nearly full-time as a server at a restaurant, so Wednesday to Saturday night I’m unavailable for somewhere between 6-9 hours on those days. When I have my off days I’m usually at home or out for a walk. I’m usually efficient with my errands and have extensive free time on off days. My apartment is a one bedroom, so if I’m not playing around the apartment with the pet, I’d want to bring them on a walk or to the park. I have a very comfortable bedroom conducive to nap time, and I live in the heart of Old Port. Whenever I am with pets in my house I am always looking to set up a cozy space for them to relax with blankets, pillows, their favorite toys. I try to make them feel like a proper guest in my home like anyone else. My apartment is always very quiet despite being downtown, but I would hope to find activities we could do in and around Portland to help keep them active and entertained.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life—from Cavapoos to Corgis to Wheaten Terriors to Doodles, to Boxers! I’ve also had the pleasure of having a Goldendoodle of my own as well! My sweet pup was in an accident and required lots of specific care such as wound care and medication administration for many months. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so pet parents can feel confident while they’re away!
About: I have pet sat for neighbors, friends and family for six years where I was responsible for walking and feeding their animals. I grew up with an Australian Shepherd and have been walking dogs since I was 10. I am an Elementary School Teacher so I am looking for something part time or full time for the summer months. I am also looking to continue my services when the school year starts in September. I currently have two cats of my own who get along very well with other animals. My parents dog stays with me as well on some weekends. I have a large park near my apartment and my parents dog really enjoys running around there. I am an elementary school teacher, so I will be available mostly full time during the summer months and then I will transition into a part time schedule when school starts back up in the fall. I have two cats of my own, so your pet will have fur friends to play with when/ if they stay at my home. Right next to my home I have a large park that residents take their pets to. I would also love to take your pet to a nearby dog park, that way they can socialize in a safe space!
