What can I say? Destiny was amazing! She provided plenty of updates and pics, was super patient and attentive with both my pets (who both took to her VEYR quickly) and she even left the house in better condition than when she arrived! Destiny went above and beyond. I'd give more than 5 stars of I could!

I cannot recommend Ryan enough! She dog sat for my two fur babies and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Responsive, communicative, kind, respectful, and a calming force - the perfect care taker for my two high energy, very spoiled dogs. We look forward to booking her again soon!

Madeleine is kind and caring with My cocker spaniel. She grew up with animals, including a cocker, so she knew just what my dog needed. I have many items in the daily routine, and she tried to make it work. She’s very loving with him. And since this was also a house sit, Madeleine made a great effort to Clean up bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. I would recommend her without reservation.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, and have been helping to care for them (walking, feeding, etc.) since I was around 10 years old. I’ve pet sit for many family friends throughout the years - dogs and cats alike. Recently I even housesat for 4 dogs and 2 cats all at the same time! My family dogs both recently passed away and I’ve been looking for something to fill the whole in my heart. Would love to take care of your pets! I am a freelance writer, musician, and retail associate, so I’m able to make my own schedule a lot of the time. I’m free during the day Monday-Thursday to walk your pooch or for drop-in visits, and I’m available after work on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (I typically get off around 3-5 pm). I can walk, feed, or house sit for your dogs or cats. Also just love spending time with them in general! Whatever you need, I’m here to help.

Ashton was a great sitter for our dog and cat while we traveled out of town for a few days. My dog can be a bit anxious so it’s always a bit nerve wrecking leaving her with someone else but Ashton was up for the challenge and my anxious girl warmed right up to her. She even made an extra trip over during the day when my dog was having a little bit of a panic moment. Will definitely use her again!

About: Longtime dog lover and owner, current parent of a 9-year-old Siberian Husky service dog whom I trained to myself. I love dogs of all sizes and shapes and personalities and I can't wait to meet all the wonderful furkids that I'll be looking after in the future. I'm always telling people "I may have trouble remembering your name, but I will always remember your pet's name." Though I am small in stature I'm actually quite strong and can handle large/muscular dogs (and the occasional feral cat when necessary), because I just know how to move with them/guide them. I'm also not intimidated by aggressive behavior in animals, nor do I meet it with aggression in return. I always try to calm the animal and figure out the issue, putting myself between them and anyone/anything that might upset them further. I have a personality/presence that dogs seem to love, from the timid to the social, the calm to the active. I'm a fast walker, so your dog will certainly get a workout they'll love as they keep pace with me, but I can also meander when needed for the older dogs and fumbling puppies. I have experience doing basic grooming for dogs: bathing, brushing, shaving away mats, clipping nails, trimming the fur between pawpads, brushing teeth, and cleaning ears. I do not have experience doing "style" cuts for dogs. I know snake pet care as well, so feel free to inquire if you need someone to look after your danger noodle! Pet care is my primary work focus right now as I work through completing my online schooling towards getting my degree and Vet Tech licence. I have a backyard for your dog to play in alongside my very friendly Husky. It's not fenced in, but I keep a spare long-lead on-hand, same kind as I use for my girl, for guest dogs. If your dog is an especially strong one please let me know and I'll make sure to have an lead appropriate for your dogs weight strength available. Inside the house is dog-friendly and spacious, and I can crate your dog if needed. My dog is allowed on the couch and my bed, so do let me know if those are no-go areas for your dog. If your cat likes outside time I can provide walks and/or put them out in the backyard on the spare long-lead.

Bret accepted our short notice booking and stopped by for a meet & greet before we headed out for a weekend trip, which was great. Our pets are currently pretty low maintenance but it was important for us to have someone stay the weekend while we had some R&R. We’d have Bret back on a future vacation.

About: I am a pre-vet college student looking to spend some time taking care of people's furry friends this summer. I have basic animal first aid training, I am pretty well versed in senior care in cats (having had a few of my own), and I LOVE working with/training puppies and young dogs. I'm happy to work with any age, size, energy level, and temperament of animal -- just tell me their favorite treat and we'll get along great :) I'm available for pet sitting, house sitting, and dog walking! My rates are negotiable, especially since I'm new to Rover. Message me if you have questions! I'm home for the summer, so excluding a few one-time conflicts, I'm free and clear! I would be happy to set up a repeating walk schedule. I'm happy to work around any comfort level your pet has with new people. I'd prefer to do a meet and greet before taking them out for the first time, just to make sure that your furry friend is comfortable with me (or has at least met me) before we spend some time together.

About: I take great pride in my attention to detail to ensure people’s pets are receiving the best care possible. I am happy to learn from owners and to fit best into their pets lives ensuring commands are consistent and clear! I work in the public schools around Portland making weekends free. I’m also available early afternoons after about 3 pm. I’m happy to stop by before and after work hours! While in clients homes I’m always aware of the hazards that could present. Even with a fenced in yard, I’m always out watching to ensure nothing goes wrong.

You step through the door with a whispering grace, A gentle smile, a warm embrace. Soft paws dance at the sound of your feet, A love so quiet, yet pure and sweet. By moonlight or sun, through purrs and sighs, You soothe their hearts with tender ties. A careful touch, a voice so low, A world of trust begins to grow. And though you leave when duty ends, In feline hearts, you’re more than a friend. For love lingers where kindness stays, A cat sitter’s warmth in golden rays

Highly recommend Maddie! She was fantastic with my elderly dog, Oliver, who has separation anxiety. During our initial visit, she was wonderful with him and asked detailed questions to understand his needs. Throughout my entire work trip, Maddie was highly communicative and sent regular photo updates, giving me total peace of mind. I returned to a clean house and a very comfortable, happy dog. It is rare to find someone who provides this level of specialized care, patience, and affection. I will absolutely use Maddie again!

“Everything went really smoothly with Meagan” said Clover when being interviewed after the weekend. “Belly rubs, treats and cuddles were top notch. Though the guy that normally rubs my belly wasn’t hear, I barely even noticed since Meagan was clearly a pro. She took care of me and my little heart condition awesomely”, she continued. From that guy that is normally around, thanks for making that part of my quick weekend away stress free.

Elise was wonderful. There were a few bumps in the road the first day (on my side) she handled calmly and effortless. I came home to a very happy dog (she is a rescue and not happy being left alone so when she was not anxious when I got back that is a plus) and my house was spotless.

We had to leave town unexpectedly, and Jenna jumped in to help us on very short notice, which we were incredibly grateful for. Our dog Jun is a pretty anxious boy, so we were definitely nervous leaving him with someone without all of us meeting in person first, but Jenna immediately made us feel comfortable. She was super responsive, communicative, and thoughtful the whole time. Jun looked relaxed and comfy in the photos she sent, which really eased a lot of our stress while we were away. When we got back, he looked happy, healthy, and very well taken care of. Really grateful for how quickly she stepped in and took such great care of our furry boy. We’d absolutely book with her again.
