About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, and have been helping to care for them (walking, feeding, etc.) since I was around 10 years old. About: Longtime dog lover and owner, current parent of a 9-year-old Siberian Husky service dog whom I trained to myself. I love dogs of all sizes and shapes and personalities and I can't wait to meet all the wonderful furkids that I'll be looking after in the future. I'm always telling people "I may have trouble remembering your name, but I will always remember your pet's name." Though I am small in stature I'm actually quite strong and can handle large/muscular dogs (and the occasional feral cat when necessary), because I just know how to move with them/guide them. I'm also not intimidated by aggressive behavior in animals, nor do I meet it with aggression in return. I always try to calm the animal and figure out the issue, putting myself between them and anyone/anything that might upset them further. I have a personality/presence that dogs seem to love, from the timid to the social, the calm to the active. I'm a fast walker, so your dog will certainly get a workout they'll love as they keep pace with me, but I can also meander when needed for the older dogs and fumbling puppies. I have experience doing basic grooming for dogs: bathing, brushing, shaving away mats, clipping nails, trimming the fur between pawpads, brushing teeth, and cleaning ears. I do not have experience doing "style" cuts for dogs. I know snake pet care as well, so feel free to inquire if you need someone to look after your danger noodle! Pet care is my primary work focus right now as I work through completing my online schooling towards getting my degree and Vet Tech licence. I have a backyard for your dog to play in alongside my very friendly Husky. It's not fenced in, but I keep a spare long-lead on-hand, same kind as I use for my girl, for guest dogs. If your dog is an especially strong one please let me know and I'll make sure to have an lead appropriate for your dogs weight strength available. Inside the house is dog-friendly and spacious, and I can crate your dog if needed. My dog is allowed on the couch and my bed, so do let me know if those are no-go areas for your dog. If your cat likes outside time I can provide walks and/or put them out in the backyard on the spare long-lead.

About: I am a pre-vet college student looking to spend some time taking care of people's furry friends this summer. I have basic animal first aid training, I am pretty well versed in senior care in cats (having had a few of my own), and I LOVE working with/training puppies and young dogs. Elise was wonderful. There were a few bumps in the road the first day (on my side) she handled calmly and effortless. I came home to a very happy dog (she is a rescue and not happy being left alone so when she was not anxious when I got back that is a plus) and my house was spotless.
Kari did a wonderful job caring for our dog, Butters! She took care of his medical needs and was very good at communication, providing us routine updates and photos. She also left the house clean, which was greatly appreciated. We would be happy to have Kari back to help us out in the future and highly recommend her!

Samantha did such a great job taking care of the dogs! Walking, snuggling, doing meds and generally helping them feel like they were home (they were!) and nothing had really changed (except I wasn't there). She sent me pictures of them so I could feel connected.
Justin was an absolute treasure! I came home to a very happy and tired little man. Justin was incredible at keeping me updated on the adventures of the day. My dog has pretty bad separation anxiety and Justin was very patient with Uncle Peanut after I left and managed to comfort him quickly. I cannot recommend him enough!!!!!

We had to leave town unexpectedly, and Jenna jumped in to help us on very short notice, which we were incredibly grateful for. Our dog Jun is a pretty anxious boy, so we were definitely nervous leaving him with someone without all of us meeting in person first, but Jenna immediately made us feel comfortable. She was super responsive, communicative, and thoughtful the whole time. Jun looked relaxed and comfy in the photos she sent, which really eased a lot of our stress while we were away. When we got back, he looked happy, healthy, and very well taken care of. Really grateful for how quickly she stepped in and took such great care of our furry boy. We’d absolutely book with her again.
