About: I am a pre-vet college student looking to spend some time taking care of people's furry friends this summer. I have basic animal first aid training, I am pretty well versed in senior care in cats (having had a few of my own), and I LOVE working with/training puppies and young dogs. I'm happy to work with any age, size, energy level, and temperament of animal -- just tell me their favorite treat and we'll get along great :) I'm available for pet sitting, house sitting, and dog walking! My rates are negotiable, especially since I'm new to Rover. Message me if you have questions! I'm home for the summer, so excluding a few one-time conflicts, I'm free and clear! I would be happy to set up a repeating walk schedule. I'm happy to work around any comfort level your pet has with new people. I'd prefer to do a meet and greet before taking them out for the first time, just to make sure that your furry friend is comfortable with me (or has at least met me) before we spend some time together.

About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life, and especially love taking dogs on walks where they get to lead with their noses. I wish I could get a pet right now but since I can’t, I love helping out other pet owners to get my dog and cat fix! I just moved to Portland and am applying for work in conservation and/or education, so have a very open schedule as I continue my job search. I am usually gone on weekends out in the woods somewhere, but am around the city on weekdays! I cannot host pets in my home, but will happily visit your home and make sure to follow all pet care instructions you leave for me!

About: I have been the go to dog sitter for my friends and family for years. I am experienced with small/medium sized dogs of all ages. I'm very flexible and will do my best to accommodate special requests that are within my skill set. I also like to form long term relationships with pets and their families to ensure consistent care and the best experience for all involved. I am currently available 24/7 for my dog, we like to go to the beach, walks in the woods, naps and daily training exercises. I am flexible to work with your dogs needs and schedules! About: Middle-school teacher with extra time (and love) over the summer. New to Rover, but not to pet sitting! My primary experience is with my two cats, Norman (8yo) and Bucky (2yo), but I have been helping watch pets for family, friends, and neighbors in southern Maine for the past 8 years. I'm a middle-school teacher on summer break with plenty of extra time/love. I can be flexible with times/specific preferences and am open to all days of the week. I am caring, knowledgeable, and tidy and will treat your pets + space with the utmost respect and care. Drop-ins will be for 30 minutes unless longer is requested and agreed upon. Please do not hesitate to message me with any questions or concerns!

About: I take myself out for walks anyway, dogs are just amazing company! I'm excited to get your dogs moving outside in a safe way that burns off some energy and allows exploration! I love being outdoors in any weather condition. Being away from home, I dearly miss my own dog, so spending quality time with some of the best creatures in the world is an amazing added bonus. I’m available weekdays before 11:30, and any time on weekends! I work in the afternoons, so my availability is before 11:30 and after 6 pm on weekdays. I’m happy to be flexible to suit your changing needs, especially if something comes up last minute that you need support with! I know it’s an act of extreme trust to have another person interact with your fur babies and I take that responsibility extremely seriously!! Whether in your home, my home, or just walking around the neighborhood, I promise to pay attention to, care for, and love your pets like they are my own!

About: Growing up with dogs all around was and continues to be a fun and deeply rewarding experience. I have cared for dogs (and cats, etc.) since I was a kid, and still often take care of family and friends' pets. Providing enrichment and engagement, anticipating and caring for needs, wrangling wily actors, managing space and time in a positive attitude, and thinking and acting flexibly, attuned to diverse and changing needs, are not only things required from a good dog walker - these are tasks I complete daily as a middle school teacher. I am available all day most Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with some availability on the weekends. During the school year, my availability will mostly be on the weekends, though I will be available during school breaks and holidays. As a dog walker, safety is the most important aspect. I am a very perceptive individual and take care to be aware of all of my surroundings. Any and all information you can share about your pet is greatly welcome.

About: I have 2 cats of my own and also spent some time in college as a puppy co-raiser for the Guide Dog Foundation, which means I have some experience training dogs to have fantastic house manners! I believe in positive reinforcement training and in the importance of attunement to animals’ needs and unique personalities! I enjoy taking long walks with dogs (even in the cold!) and would be happy to do drop-ins and house sitting for both dogs and cats. I’ve always had cats and dogs in my life, and I really believe they are such special parts of our lives. I have flexibility during the morning and early afternoon, as well as on weekends! I’m an ideal candidate for those needing drop-ins or midday walks. I am dedicated to caring for your pet(s) as gently and thoroughly as possible! I know I’d want to leave my cats in the best hands possible, so I want to provide that peace of mind to others.

About: I’ve spent the majority of my life taking care of horses so rest assured I’ll be able to handle your dog! Have owned German shepherds so big or crazy dogs are fine by me as well. My dog passed last year and I am desperately missing all the time I spent outside walking and playing with him. I am currently working part time in the evenings so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your pups during your nine to five! Happy to take care of your pet at your home and work with the set up you have! I will work with what you’ve got.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages—from energetic puppies who need structure and playtime to senior pups who require patience and gentle care. What sets me apart is my focus on making each dog feel safe, loved, and at home, whether that means long walks, belly rubs, or sticking to their exact routine. I’m reliable, attentive, and quick to notice changes in behavior or needs, which gives pet parents peace of mind. If your dog needs medication, extra exercise, or just a little extra snuggle time, I’m happy to provide it. Every dog has their own personality, and I love tailoring my care to make sure they’re comfortable and happy. I am currently in medical school so my schedule is busy but with plenty of time free on the weekends! I have full days (8am-6pm) Monday and Friday, but only brief afternoon classes on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and would love to spend my non-class time with a pup! I am additionally free any time on weekends as my weekends mainly entail staying at home to study. I am currently unable to offer pet care in my apartment. I live in an apartment building that is not pet friendly. I am able to travel wherever is needed!

About: I've grown up with cats and dogs, and love spending time with them. I like to go for long walks, play with pets, or just hangout and keep them company. Also love art, and can paint a watercolor or acrylic portrait of your pet, if you like! I'm currently working full time from 8-4:30, but have plenty of time in the evenings! Also, most Wednesdays and Fridays I work from home, so I can help out during the day if I'm in your area. I will care for your pet in your home in accordance with whatever rules you follow, whether that's keeping them in certain areas and off furniture, or giving them plenty of freedom to run around and cuddle.
