“Jesse takes his job of caring for dogs very seriously. I trusted Jesse to take care of my dog for a week while I was traveling. There’s not many people I fully trust with my fur-baby! Jesse loves dogs and you can see the joy is his eyes when he watches them play. He’s patient, but firm when necessary and strong enough to handle Big dogs.”

“Julia is absolutely the best! We met for a meet and greet beforehand and my dog instantly fell in love and was comfortable with her. She sends detailed updates and photos during their walks. I know my pup is in great hands which puts my mind to ease. Super thankful to have found her on Rover and would highly recommend her to others”
5. Alyssa S.
About: Since 2016 I've dog sat for my friend and her family on numerous occasions-- Her sister's dogs, her grandmother's dog and her own three dogs. Most of the pups were easy to take care of but some were a little more hyperactive and with very willful personalities. I love animals and try to find ways to make time in my life to spend with them. I'm very patient and like to hang out with dogs from all walks of life, from puppies to old dogs, and from very friendly to more socially awkward dogs. I'm currently working part-time while working on my illustration career on the side. I have a very open schedule as I mostly work 3-4 days a week, and the shifts are short. I know my schedule in advance for the month, so I'm very flexible and it will be simple to fit in time to take care of animals. I won't be providing service in my own home, but for drop-ins, pet-sitting and walks, I'm very punctual! I have my own transportation so traveling isn't a problem. I don't mind taking special care to get dogs and cats alike to warm up to me, and since I have grown up around animals I'm well-versed in their behavior. I'm confident in my ability to treat your pets as if they were my own!

“Dependable and very helpful!”
7. Lily G.
“Lily did a great job walking my dog while I was on a work trip. She was very warm and wrote some amazing summaries of their time together. Would recommend Lily as a pet sitter for anyone!”
8. Gray M.
“Gray is the perfect person to care for any of your pets! She has taken care of my (wildly) enthusiastic 1.5 year old Golden Retriever with incredible patience, love, and responsibility. Gray is my go-to with puppy care and goes the extra mile with lots of play and attention during their time with my pup. My dog gets SO EXCITED when getting to hang with Gray yet, Gray somehow manages to have a calming presence on my dog soon after the initial greeting is over. I couldn't recommend a pet sitter/walker any more highly than Gray!”
9. Annie H.
“Annie has been a dog lover her entire life. Her passion for life and all things nature is contagious as she shares this love with everyone she encounters. Her family dog is back in Cincinnati Ohio and I know she will care for your pet with the same compassion as her own Lucy.”
10. Emily V.
“Emily has over 20 years of experience living with and working with dogs. In the past, she spent many hours volunteering at the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society. She is very patient, responsible, and strong enough to handle any situation. She has experience with all different types of dogs including large, strong breeds; growing up with a Husky/Rottweiler mix and currently owning a Pitty. More recently, she has been fostering a rescue pup from a local shelter. He is about a year old and does not understand his manners yet. Emily has been extremely patient and helped teach him proper behavior and basic commands. I think she will do an excellent job taking care of your pup.”
11. Rose B.
“Rose is fantastic with our dog. Kind, prompt, and compassionate. He’s not the most active guy and can be stubborn and Rose has embraced it all. We are so lucky to have found her.”
12. Eliot J.
“My 14-yr-old miniature poodle loves Eliot. Eliot is reliable and very business-like. My older dog gets a walk suited to her energy level for the day. If she wants to dawdle along and sniff every leaf or move along at a good clip, Elliott adapts to her.”
13. Carla V.
“I met Carla V in the fall of 2021. At the time she lived in walking distance from my home. Since I was new to the neighborhood and having no family living close by, I asked Carla if she would watch my dog while I was away for a week. Bo, my newly acquired dog at the time, was a rescue from Georgia. He was not an easy dog to care for. Bo is a mixed breed off Border Collie, some field bred hunter species and Pit, but very loving. He had just turned three when I got him in 2020, and although weighing only 50 pounds, was pure muscle and needed an assertive exercise program. Also, because he had harsh beginnings in Georgia, I needed to leave him with someone I could 1) trust, 2) was comfortable with rescue dogs (her sister was a trainer), and 3) was a firm, but very caring, handler. Bo loves Carla and, to date, she has stayed with him several times. Carla is not just a dog sitter, she’s a surrogate “dog-mom” to Bo.”
14. Brittany E.
“Brittany was amazing and so patient with our new, energetic puppy! She was super sweet with our other pets as well, and took the puppy on a much-needed walk to calm her down. So happy to have found her for our weekly Rover walk! Would absolutely recommend!”
15. Aaron R.
“Aaron is amazing and we highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable, kind and great with big/small/old/young pups-kind of person. He is also great with pup pics and capturing the moment! We are moving and we all will miss him!”
16. Lucy P.
“On time and friendly! Pepper had a good time”
17. Sarah S.
“Sarah is amazing! So good with my pup and always takes the best pictures of her on their daily walks, which I really enjoy. She knows a lot about dogs and has given me lots of tips! It’s so nice to go to work and not have to worry about my “child!” Don’t hesitate to book her!”
18. Harrison G.
“We did a meet and greet with Harrison before my pups overnight stay. Harrison was kind and sweet to Sesame and I know she will feel right at home!”
19. Brandon L.
“Brandon was a great pet sitter! I have a cat with special needs and he was attentive and always kept me updated- it made me feel so much more comfortable with going out of town. He was also SO good with my other cat who is super shy. I will definitely be using him again!”
20. Dan D.
“Dan is so great! He's super professional but also a really nice, genuine guy who just really loves dogs. He has experience with dogs who are nervous, shy, anxious and knows how to treat these pups that sometimes need a little extra TLC. Dan is reliable and responsible and he will treat your pet like his own!”
