About: I have worked at my local humane society, dog sat and walked dogs in the past. I also had my own pup that I cared for until this January, when he passed away of old age. I love dogs with all my heart and have had my fair share of experience with them in terms of handling, socializing and walking them. I love to run so I am open to running/ playing with dogs who need an extra energy release. As I work full time, I am available on the weekends or in the evenings during the work week to walk dogs. I am flexible with certain weekdays however. I always keep pups on a leash and am cautious of interactions with other dogs/pets. I stay in let-safe areas and stop periodically for water and treats.
14. Chad P. & Amy W.
“So happy with Chad and Amy! They came over for a meet & greet beforehand to get to know Midge, were on time, and she had a great time with both of them!”
15. Melissa W.
“Melissa goes above and beyond when she cares for my dog and cat. After feeding them and taking the dog for a nice walk, she hangs out with them and takes whatever time is necessary to make sure they have everything they need. She always sends lots of photos and detailed info about her visits. Wally and Ocho adore her (greet her at the door!) and I have peace of mind knowing they are in good hands while I’m away. You’re the best Melissa!”
16. Erin G.
“Erin was absolutely AMAZING with my sweet and at times crazy 75 pound Bernese Mountain Dog. She gave her so much love and took her on fun outings. I have rarely trusted anyone to watch my pup, I am so happy we found Erin - I know we will be seeing her again!”

About: I’ve taken care of many different types of dogs throughout my life. When I was still in school I would watch my neighbors dogs and now I have three of my own! I still watch dogs for my friends but would like to extend my reach since I love doing it so much! I work remotely from home and have a pretty flexible schedule because of that. It also gives me a lot more time to spend with your animals. I have a fenced in yard so I prefer them for potty breaks, but I also have experience taking reactive dogs on potty break walks as well.
18. Jennifer L.
“Jennifer was a wonderful cat sitter. One of my cats has recently started chemotherapy pills and Jennifer was able to give them to her while I was out of town. It was such a relief to know she was able to. maintain her schedule while I was away!”

About: I'm current dog dad to Greta, an enthusiastic 4-year-old female German shepherd rescue who hails from North Carolina, but I have grown up around dogs my entire life (except college and a few years after). These loving beasts live in my heart forever, and include my first dog named Goldie (Golden retriever), Kaila, a female chocolate Lab I adopted in New Mexico who left me way too soon (at 6-1/2), Chester, a stately black Lab whose 15 years with me outlived every other relationship in my life, except my eldest daughter (now 17), including my parents and my marriage, and Phil, a farm-bred Golden mix who was added to the pack with Chester during my married years. In the 35 dog years I've been blessed with, I've learned there are no bad dogs, only difficult situations or perhaps insufficient training. They're always happy to see us. They never ask for more than a steady diet, a few playthings, and some recognition of their status as guardians. For that, we are fortunate to have companions who never leave our side, a comfort and security nothing else in this world provides. Darn beasts ... they just don't last long enough. So it's up to us to show them love and guidance in our human pack while they are by our sides. I would be happy to substitute as the alpha in your pack while you are away. Don't worry: Although they will be very well taken care of while you are away, they will be thrilled to see you when you return. I'm a freelance PR rep who works from home with a limited client base. Thus I have a lot of flexibility to fit your best pals into may weekly schedule. I have a fenced-in yard at my place (a real luxury in Portland) which Greta would love to share. If I watch your pals at your place, I would not bring Greta with me. The only other scenario I would attempt to have Greta mix with your pals is on a leashed walk.
20. Brianna O.
“Brianna is simply amazing! My pup, Ralph, adores her (as do we) and her services have made such a difference in both his life and ours. My partner works from home, so Ralph is used to always having someone around. This made it very challenging when one or both of us had to be away, and was very anxiety-inducing for all three of us. He would always be “off” for quite a while after we’d have to be gone or even when my partner would have to go into the office for one day to work. Since finding Brianna, she is our go-to for our Ralph’s needs whenever we can’t be there for him! We always had familiar friends or family care for him when we couldn’t be there, but he would still be “off” for a bit… Ralph is very social but can be timid around new people, so I was nervous about using an unfamiliar face for the first time. To our surprise, Ralph was no different when we got home! Since regularly using Brianna, she and Ralph have formed a great relationship, and his separation anxiety and attention seeking behaviors have both reduced IMMENSELY. We’re no longer spending our time away worried about Ralph and how he will react to us being gone. We all love Brianna!”
