“Julia was great! A lifesaver on Thanksgiving when I had to work all day & desperately needed someone to give my older pup Zoe her afternoon heart meds. She was so sweet with my girls & above all, trustworthy & reliable. Definitely recommend Julia for any of your Rover needs!”

Courtney S.
“My family is thankful for the outstanding care that Courtney gave to our dog Rosey over the years. Courtney is attentive, kind, and responsible. Our dog loved the times when she house sat. My family is especially thankful when Courtney cared for Rosey when our dog was recovering from spinal surgery. We wish that Courtney was still in Nashville to care for our dog!”

Elizabeth P.
“I have known Elizabeth since 2009 and one of the things that I can say about her is her amazing love and connection with animals. She especially loves dogs. Elizabeth is a very responsible and dependable person. Though she has never given care to my dogs, both Winston and Wednesday love her. I have no doubt if you hire her, your dogs will love her.”

Rose M.

“Rose you’re a lifesaver! Thanks so much for caring for Bella, bringing in random packages, and allowing us to take a much needed vacation. We are so grateful! Best, Maribe & Matt♥️”

Robert B.
“Rob watches my black lab Harken whenever my wife and I leave town. He's a family friend that grew up with labs and he loves our dog just as much as we do. Whenever he watches our dog, Harken, he sends photos and takes him on long walks around Portland to the Eastern Prominade where he throws a tennis ball until my dog is content, which is no small feat. Our dog, Harken, starts to cry in the car every time we pass Rob's house because he want's to go over and visit. Rob's our favorite dog sitter.”

Addy H.

“Addy is great and my dog was a huge fan too!”

“Emilia is a loving, confident caregiver with my dog. My dog requires patience and strength when walking and Emilia handles him exactly how I have requested. Emilia’s warm, gentle personality is perfect for taking care of animals.”

“Amy was fantastic! She was able to take care of Pepper on short notice and I’m so glad we were able to make it work. Pepper absolutely loved her! We’ll definitely work with Amy again.”

Meredith G.
“We loved having Meredith watch/walk our dog! She always stayed in touch, took him for nice long walks, and was Incredibly caring for him in his old age. Meredith has a way with dogs and we trust her entirely. We love her!”

Rose B.

“Rose was great taking care of my two cats for a week while I was out of town! She was very responsive with questions I had, and made me feel very comfortable with her caring for my cats. My more social cat took to her quickly and even my very shy kitty warmed up to her because of how patient Rose was with her. I would have Rose take care of my kitties again!”

Kaylee J.

“Thank you Kaylee, the dogs were so happy!! I will definitely reach out if I need help in the future.”

Molly J.
“Molly is amazing with my dogs Bellatrix and Maverick. They are labs and Molly handles them both very well on leash. She more than just an animal person, she is an animal whisperer. Our dogs flock to Molly whenever she is around. She is extremely trustworthy, well-manored, and respectful of our home whenever we are away and she watches our fur babies.”

Melissa W.

“Melissa took very good care of my cat while I was away, and sent a lot of photos of him. She made sure his stuff was all taken care of. I felt like he was safe and cared for while I was not able to be around. I recommend Melissa for taking care of your pet!”

Gretchen F.

“Gretchen was great! She watched my very shy, asthmatic cat for a couple weeks and did an amazing job both making sure my cat got her inhaler and getting my cat to warm up to her.”

julia l.

“If you are needing someone to watch your cats in your home, you need Julia! I had never used Rover before and was super nervous and anxious to leave our four cats in the hands of someone new while I travelled for a week and a half. However, Julia was amazing and my cats really liked her. Every day I received loads of pictures of my cats, a short and clear run-down of that day's visit, and Julia was quick to communicate. I will absolutely hire Julia again!”

About: My family and I have owned dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, etc for as long as I can remember. I currently am the loving mother of our super-mutt Kaia who is 3 years old and Randy, our very large cat. Dan and I are constantly hiking, traveling, adventuring with Kaia and we will do the same with your furry family member! My family always had animals in the house, and back at my family home we have a 13 y/o. Husky/ Kelpie mix, an 8 y/o. Husky/ German Shepherd mix and 2 little kitties! Previously, my family owned a Chocolate Lab and a Siberian Husky. Over the past 20 years, I have been the go-to person to care for a friend or neighbors' dog/pet ranging from small terriers to large german shepherds for week long visits or for a quick walk around the neighborhood! I will love your dog, cat, little critter as if he/she is my own! As an avid nature lover, I care for all animals, big or small. Your pup will be safe with me! My family dog Sadie also has diabetes, so I am well equipped to administer any medication your furry friend May require. I work from home, so I’m very available to care for your pet whenever you need! We walk Kaia multiple times a day in the neighborhood or in the woods path near our house, so your pet is guaranteed to get a workout! We have a 7ft tall fenced in yard that the dogs can run around in all day! Dogs are allowed on our furniture, but please let us know if they are safe with kitties!

About: I have worked at my local humane society, dog sat and walked dogs in the past. I also had my own pup that I cared for until this January, when he passed away of old age. I love dogs with all my heart and have had my fair share of experience with them in terms of handling, socializing and walking them. I love to run so I am open to running/ playing with dogs who need an extra energy release. As I work full time, I am available on the weekends or in the evenings during the work week to walk dogs. I am flexible with certain weekdays however. I always keep pups on a leash and am cautious of interactions with other dogs/pets. I stay in let-safe areas and stop periodically for water and treats.
