Stephen M.

“I needed someone to watch my cat at the last minute, and Stephen was absolutely wonderful! Stephen was so kind and responsive, and I knew my cat was in good hands. I got updates throughout and I was able to adjust my pickup time when ciecumsstances changed. I would recommend Stephen to anyone!”

Whitney S.

“Whitney looked after our dog Sherman while we were away for the weekend. She was a pleasure to work with and Sherman was very well taken care of. We will be booking with her again!”

David G.

“Another successful overnight with David G! They have been so great, they even accommodated my precious pugs sleeping preferences and let her sleep with them. I couldn’t be happier or more grateful. Thank you so very much David!”

Andrew L.

“Andrew did a wonderful job watching our dog, Bond. He sent us pictures every morning and night and explained what they did every day together. Very happy with his services. Will be using again. Highly recommend.”

Susan L.

“Hands down the best sitter! Susan took amazing care of our dog, Sully, with tons of snuggles and long nature walks. She was super flexible with our drop off and pick up times and sent us tons of updates. We loved seeing how much fun the pups were having! Her dog is super super sweet and was the perfect companion for Sully. Her yard is fenced and was the best spot for them to zoom and play together all day long. Couldn’t recommend her enough!”

Anne B.

“Anne was wonderful! Beautiful yard and friendly dogs that played with my two after a long car ride from PA. Lots of updates and photos, which were appreciated as new Rover users.”

Molly W.

“Molly was able to accommodate a last minute request to watch our dog Sadie. We could not have been happier with the care she received. She enjoyed playing with Molly's 2 pups and barely noticed we had left her. ”

Lisa N.
“Lisa, my rescue 5-year-old corgi-Jack Russell, and I were housemates for a few months, so I saw her love and care of dogs daily. She was always very careful, kind, and attentive to Spock, even when she was working from home. She was solicitous, refilling his water bowl when it got low and I didn't notice, and a confident loose leash dog walker when she'd offer to take Spock out. She'd always check with me if he could have treats, and did basic obedience with Spock when dishing out the cookies (sit, lie down, etc.). When we'd go for walks-- and Lisa walks a lot, a higher energy pooch's dream parent!-- she was always patient with Spock's frequent marking and sniffing stops, and she kept an eye out for potential chewing/choking hazards (dead crabs! deer scat!) on the sidewalks and trails. I was always shocked and delighted that even when Lisa was in a hurry to get somewhere, she'd dash across the street to give my neighbor's 1 year old Golden Retriever, Lucky, some playtime and belly rubs, since he's frequently out in his Invisible Fence looking lonely. Lisa is also a regular pet sitter for two of her friends’ dogs up the coast and talks of both of them fondly. She’s an amazing pet caregiver to dogs of all shapes and sizes and is also familiar with cat-dog siblingships from her many years with a big dog and two cats. Although I didn't know Lisa when she had Bella, the beloved golden/lab mix and Good Girl who passed away two years ago after a good long life since puppyhood with Lisa, I've been fortunate to hear many stories about Bella's upbringing and life with Lisa, and privy to the videos and photos Lisa made of Bella and keeps on her phone and prominently displayed in her home. Bella was introduced to neighborhood dogs, cats, and humans, and greatly beloved by all, so much so the neighbors had a framed photo of Bella in their hallway! I credit some of this to Lisa being a doting, responsible, and generous dog mom. Lisa was so devoted to Bella that she contracted integrative medicine practitioners in addition to conventional veterinary care to ease Bella's pain when she got sick and help her to have the best end of life possible. Trading stories about obedience school, crate training, potty training, food and treat types, grooming, and daily life with Bella compared to my own rescue dog, I'm completely convinced Lisa is a caring, responsive caregiver who builds in plenty of structure, healthy boundaries, socialization, play, love, and snuggle space using her years of knowledge. Lisa is a bona fide dog person who understands safety and love. She would have done anything for Bella from 8 weeks old to her end and beyond, and I'm sure will do anything to build the best, healthiest, longest life for the next dog who comes into her life through Rover or otherwise.”

Barbara M.
“I've known Barbara for a long time and she has been a great, reliable, and responsible resource to watch my cat, Precious. She's even stayed at my house for long periods of time if I am traveling out of the country. She is constantly in contact with me, sends picture and videos of my cat, and keeps my place tidy! I trust her completely to take care of my child when I am away.”

Yuki (Xue) Y.
“Yuki was so great with our dog, Sadie! Her apartment is perfectly set up to welcome a dog and had toys at the ready. She kept Sadie entertained while we discussed her routine and needs. We felt very relieved to have found Yuki for Sadie's overnight care and we got some happy pictures of her while we were away. Yuki was very communicative and we appreciated her flexibility on timing of the drop offs and pick up. We look forward to having Yuki care for Sadie again. Thank you!”

Kate H.

“Kate is a gentle and caring person, and was very easy to communicate with. I felt good about leaving my dog Otto with her. He's a difficult animal, but she got along with him just fine. I look forwards to future visits with her, and highly recommend her.”

Kathleen K.

“We feel so confident leaving Hudson with Kathleen - he has a great time, she is so caring and kind with him and responsive and thoughtful with us. Always a great experience!”

Nishat R.

“Nishat was great, Mack had a blast with her going on walks and to the beach! Totally recommend :)”

Maddie & Emily F.

“I highly recommend Maddie and emily! My dog was nervous when we left her and they sent a picture of her 15 minutes later wading in the swimming pool assuring me that she was fine. Very nice girls!!!”

Harrison G.

“Harrison was great! He watched our pup for 5 days and sent super cute photos (that we all, and especially the kids, loved) and updated us about how she was doing. Love that she was walked so much as she loves the outdoors. We would recommend Harrison for watching your furry family member!”

Alexander S.

“Alexander was so great to our older dog and treated her with a lot of kindness and care. It was obvious to me that Alexander knows what he is doing and he really likes the dogs he takes care of.”

Lauren L.

“We felt so comfortable leaving chexmix with Lauren and her very sweet son. Our dog was well taken care of and felt right at home. Would definitely use this dogsitter again!”

Allison B.

“Allison was so great with my four month old puppy. I felt so comfortable leaving him with her for an overnight. Her home is a dog staycation paradise with a bucket full of toys and a fenced in back yard waiting. She sent me updates through his time with her which was really comforting for me. When I’m my flight home got significantly delayed, Allison was super flexible and accommodated the extra time needed to watch him until I got home.”

Josie D.

“BEST DOG SITTER EVER! I cannot recommend Josie enough! I was incredibly anxious with the idea of boarding because we have had negative experiences with other boarders in the past but Josie calmed both my own and my dog's anxiety. I did not worry about my dog the entire stay because I knew he was in good hands. Josie is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to dog behavior, training and care. She worked with my dog on some of his problem areas and he left a better dog than when he arrived. In addition to training she also had some enrichment activities for him during his stay. She surpassed every expectation, I wish there was a Josie everywhere we travel!”

Heidi A.

“I have never had such a positive experience. My pup was unfortunately sick during the majority of his stay with Heidi and I was unable to pick him up. Fortunately for us, he was in the best hands possible. Not only did she keep us informed constantly and ask for our opinion on how to take care of him best, but she even went out of her way to feed him a special diet that would best suit his sick tummy. I can’t recommend Heidi enough with your pets.”
