Lifelong experienced dog owner/love
Hey, I'm Amy! I've worked in a vet clinic for 5+ years (but don't anymore) and have owned dogs my entire life. I volunteer with several dog shelters and am familiar with all breeds/sizes/ages. I can administer all sorts of meds and love playing with, walking, hiking with, beach days, or just hanging out with pups. I have a car and love taking dogs to the beach and/or parks. I have extensive experience with senior dogs, dogs requiring medications, high energy dogs, younger dogs, big and small dogs - everyone :) For the past 8 years I lived in Brooklyn and volunteered for an organization called PAWS, where volunteers have recurring dog-walking sessions for low-income, low mobility people. I sometimes fostered dogs while their owners received medical care in addition to have a regular weekly dog walking schedule 5 nights a week, from a shihtzu to a pitty mix to a geriatric pug requiring a stroller.

Amy was so so so amazing and the best for my kittos! She sends lots of pictures and I love her for it. Nimbus and Alto (probably) trust her with their lives!
Amy is incredible, she goes above and beyond to make sure my pup is loved and cared for. My dog Lilo is almost 10 and dog reactive, but Amy not only won Lilo over immediately she was also able to take her for walks while effectively managing Lilo's triggers. She goes out of her way to make sure Lilo has plenty of attention and stimulation and I feel so much more relaxed about having to leave my pup with Amy taking care of her.
Amy was fantastic with our senior pups! She gave us plenty of updates and pictures which we really appreciated.

I love long walks with dogs who like that sort of thing, hanging out outside or inside with the lower-energy kids, beach days and hiking when possible, strolling dogs who might enjoy the outdoors but don’t have the energy they used to, lots more.
