I grew up with a cat who was much more than a pet—because I didn’t have any brothers or sisters, she was my best friend and constant companion. My apartment is always very quiet despite being downtown, but I would hope to find activities we could do in and around Portland to help keep them active and entertained.

“Anne is the best! She very obviously cares a lot about all dogs, but especially the ones in her care. She sent me lots of updates, photos, and videos - possibly more than she normally might because this was the first time I’d ever been apart from my dog and was a little nervous! She asked me great questions and was very considerate; for example asking first if it would be ok to give my dog a certain treat. She’s very mindful of animal interaction and knows each dog and situation are different. This was my first Rover experience and I hope they’re all as good as this was. Thank you Anne!”

I am currently doing Rover full-time. For many years i have lived in homes with pets and helped care for them. Currently living in a home with 1 cat, 1 dog, and 12 chickens. We also do doggy day care and do boarding- so we keep pretty busy. I always walk dogs on their leashes. I make sure to keep medications and other harmful things locked away. We have a fenced in yard, but i’m always out there with them. I try to take as good care for your animals as if they were my own.
