Longtime dog lover and owner, current parent of a 9-year-old Siberian Husky service dog whom I trained to myself. I love dogs of all sizes and shapes and personalities and I can't wait to meet all the wonderful furkids that I'll be looking after in the future. I'm always telling people "I may have trouble remembering your name, but I will always remember your pet's name." Though I am small in stature I'm actually quite strong and can handle large/muscular dogs (and the occasional feral cat when necessary), because I just know how to move with them/guide them. I'm also not intimidated by aggressive behavior in animals, nor do I meet it with aggression in return. I always try to calm the animal and figure out the issue, putting myself between them and anyone/anything that might upset them further. I have a personality/presence that dogs seem to love, from the timid to the social, the calm to the active. I'm a fast walker, so your dog will certainly get a workout they'll love as they keep pace with me, but I can also meander when needed for the older dogs and fumbling puppies. I have experience doing basic grooming for dogs: bathing, brushing, shaving away mats, clipping nails, trimming the fur between pawpads, brushing teeth, and cleaning ears. I do not have experience doing "style" cuts for dogs. I know snake pet care as well, so feel free to inquire if you need someone to look after your danger noodle!

Simon saved us in a pinch! We were planning to leave Bibi at our hotel while we went out but she wouldn’t let us leave her. Simon rescued us last minute and took very good care of Bibi!
Simon took exceptional care of our chill husky and rambunctious Shiba Inu mix! It's great to find someone who understands the nature of these breeds given that he also has a husky companion as well. Would recommend him every time if you want a happy home and a lovely person. Thanks again!
Simon was so nice and welcoming, and my dogs seemed very happy. I got a bunch of pictures showing me how comfortable and at home my dogs felt from the first moment. We will certainly call Simon when we are in the area again!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a backyard for your dog to play in alongside my very friendly Husky. It's not fenced in, but I keep a spare long-lead on-hand, same kind as I use for my girl, for guest dogs. If your dog is an especially strong one please let me know and I'll make sure to have an lead appropriate for your dogs weight strength available. Inside the house is dog-friendly and spacious, and I can crate your dog if needed. My dog is allowed on the couch and my bed, so do let me know if those are no-go areas for your dog. If your cat likes outside time I can provide walks and/or put them out in the backyard on the spare long-lead.

A typical day
I love to keep dogs engaged, either through active play (outside and in) or just talking to them about what I'm doing at any given moment. I give lots of love and attention, and enjoy taking them for walks around my peaceful neighborhood.
