About: I grew up helping raise several litters of kittens to healthy and happy adults, and have lived around cats all my life, so I know a lot about their behaviour. I've also bonded with many "problematic" cats who were said to have been "near-feral" or "unadoptable" and helped coax them a bit out of their trauma into being more open to human touch and affection. I have experience doing basic grooming for cats: bathing, brushing, shaving away mats, trimming claws, brushing teeth, and cleaning ears. I do not have experience doing "style" cuts for cats. I own a dog who is very friendly and gentle with cats, but if your feline is timid around dogs I can easily keep them separated.

About: I grew up dogs from the time I was little- labs, retrievers, shepherds- and had a special needs rescue dog with my partner for many years who lived to be fifteen. When she passed, my partner and I started boarding and house sitting regularly and have built up a pretty cute little pack. I have had greyhounds for the last 8 years and am familiar with their idiosyncrasies, but am happy to walk and sit dogs of all shapes and sizes. About: I grew up dogs from the time I was little- labs, retrievers, shepherds- and had a special needs rescue dog with my partner for many years who lived to be fifteen. When she passed, my partner and I started boarding and house sitting regularly and have built up a pretty cute little pack. I am comfortable giving oral medication and upholding your dog’s schedule, house rules, and love to take field trips whenever possible. My favorite is when a dog can come with me everywhere, so smaller senior pups have become my specialty, but I can’t help but love all the dogs who come along. As a videographer and Maine youth basketball coach I have a lot of flexibility in my work schedule and spend a lot of time working from home editing videos. I’m fairly active, always happy to take breaks from work to walk around the neighborhood or find a pet-friendly beach to run around on. I’m in an apartment very close to Deering Oaks Park and the Western Prom. The apartment is a compact second story walk up and has been carefully maintained to keep it safe for curious noses.
