About: I grew up helping raise several litters of kittens to healthy and happy adults, and have lived around cats all my life, so I know a lot about their behaviour. I've also bonded with many "problematic" cats who were said to have been "near-feral" or "unadoptable" and helped coax them a bit out of their trauma into being more open to human touch and affection. I have experience doing basic grooming for cats: bathing, brushing, shaving away mats, trimming claws, brushing teeth, and cleaning ears. I do not have experience doing "style" cuts for cats. I own a dog who is very friendly and gentle with cats, but if your feline is timid around dogs I can easily keep them separated.

About: I raised, trained, and cared for my family dog from a puppy when I was in high school. Post college I adopted a senior dog and cared for him for the last couple of years of his life. In the meantime I have been a sitter for friends and family dogs and cats over the years. I am used to giving medications (even when it needs to be disguised) and staying on a feeding schedules. About: Animals have always been the center of my world, from growing up with pets to pet-sitting countless dogs and cats across NYC. My two cats, August and Ivy, are the absolute loves of my life - My goal is simple: to provide your beloved pets with the exact same high standard of care, safety, and affection that my own two companions receive at home. I work in the office 3 days a week, but I have an hour for lunch and live only 7 min from my office. If close enough I will be able to check in midday as well as morning and after work. I have a fenced yard, though my cats are indoor only I have taken care of my neighbors dogs and enjoy playing fletch for round after round after round. I am organized and will have notes based on what you need for each drop in, will supply pictures, be there on time and stay the whole time. If your dog likes car rides, we can also go for adventures on other trails. I have a friendly, 6 year old greyhound, Turtle, who gets along well with medium and large dogs, so any boarders must play well with others and be up to date on shots, including kennel cough, and parasite screenings!

About: I take myself out for walks anyway, dogs are just amazing company! I'm excited to get your dogs moving outside in a safe way that burns off some energy and allows exploration! I love being outdoors in any weather condition. Being away from home, I dearly miss my own dog, so spending quality time with some of the best creatures in the world is an amazing added bonus. I’m available weekdays before 11:30, and any time on weekends! I work in the afternoons, so my availability is before 11:30 and after 6 pm on weekdays. I’m happy to be flexible to suit your changing needs, especially if something comes up last minute that you need support with! I know it’s an act of extreme trust to have another person interact with your fur babies and I take that responsibility extremely seriously!! Whether in your home, my home, or just walking around the neighborhood, I promise to pay attention to, care for, and love your pets like they are my own!

“I have never had such a positive experience. My pup was unfortunately sick during the majority of his stay with Heidi and I was unable to pick him up. Fortunately for us, he was in the best hands possible. Not only did she keep us informed constantly and ask for our opinion on how to take care of him best, but she even went out of her way to feed him a special diet that would best suit his sick tummy. I can’t recommend Heidi enough with your pets.”
“James took wonderful care of our dog Maya over a five day long weekend. He has a backyard with a deck and when I arrived to pick her up, she greeted me but went back to her spot on the deck and would have been happy to stay, I think! James sent a photo and video when I texted to see how she was doing and that was reassuring. We have another weekend away scheduled in the next couple of months and plan to ask James to take care of her then, so I would recommend him highly. He has a super friendly dog and she was good company for Maya.”
About: I was raised with cats and dogs and i have kept them into my adult life. Not having them would be a tragedy. I look forward to caring for your fur baby as they are my own. I am constantly taking care of my kitten and my 2 other cats and I help my friend with his pupper often and love every minute of it. I can go to your place or watch them here your call. If your animal is comfier at home then that is no problem at all for me. My home is quiet and currently dog free. My cats are currently livng ful time at my friends as i jist moved to this new place and into my significant others place so no need to worry about clashing.

They are very easy going and caring; real dog lovers who understand dog behavior. When I picked up Kate, she was calm and seemingly happy.
