About: I have always lived happily in the company of animals. My earliest memories are of "riding" my parents loving and loyal black lab, Blue. I grew up with one sister, three dogs, some fish, one bird, two cats, and a guinea pig along the way. Pets are family in my eyes and each has their own sense of personhood that is uniquely valuable and irreplaceable. I can offer as many bathroom breaks as needed while present though would be at work for up to 8.5 hours a day. During this time, I may be able to stop by for a bathroom visit if local to downtown Portland. Otherwise, a drop in service from another provider would be necessary to fill in so your dog would be able to go out. I can't say enough great things about Paige! It's never easy leaving your pets however, Paige made us feel at ease from the moment we met her. During her visits she always checked in and sent photos. We had a few little mishaps while we were traveling (water was accidentally shut off and a missed connecting flight) and Paige immediately offered assistance. She also had ideas on how to help calm our incredibly anxious dog. She was truly incredible and we will definitely use her again!
Madeleine was absolutely wonderful. My puppy Sammy LOVED her and she was able to do an extended evening watch for me and my boyfriend to go to the movies. She truly is an amazing dog sitter! Highly recommend, and hopefully she will see my little Sammy again in the future :)

Julia was incredibly accommodating to our ever evolving schedule. Our dog Bernie took to her right away and happily walked off for a walk with her. She watched him for us for several hours and gave him an incredible walk and play session. He came home and crashed out for the rest of the day. She sent some sweet pics and was very easy to communicate and quick to respond. I would definitely hire her again and again!!!
We are so grateful to have Anna as our friend of Nahla while we travel occasionally. She faces Nahla's occasional old lady grumpiness with treats in hand and wins Nahla over in a minute. I especially appreciate Anna's use of the Rover card so I know exactly when Nala is out and about and whether or not she peed and pooed and what she ate and when she's back home. To have such thorough communication while we are far away is a great comfort.
Lindsey was professional and clearly a dog person! Our pups had a great time playing with her. She sent pictures and updates so we were never wondering how they were doing.
