About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. I grew up with a cat who was much more than a pet—because I didn’t have any brothers or sisters, she was my best friend and constant companion. Later, after meeting my husband, who had a dog, I discovered how much joy dogs bring and how different, fun, and rewarding it is to spend time with them. Now that my own children are older and more independent, I finally have some time to do something I’ve wanted for a while: care for other people’s dogs. About: I grew up dogs from the time I was little- labs, retrievers, shepherds- and had a special needs rescue dog with my partner for many years who lived to be fifteen. When she passed, my partner and I started boarding and house sitting regularly and have built up a pretty cute little pack. I am comfortable giving oral medication and upholding your dog’s schedule, house rules, and love to take field trips whenever possible. My favorite is when a dog can come with me everywhere, so smaller senior pups have become my specialty, but I can’t help but love all the dogs who come along. As a videographer and Maine youth basketball coach I have a lot of flexibility in my work schedule and spend a lot of time working from home editing videos. I’m fairly active, always happy to take breaks from work to walk around the neighborhood or find a pet-friendly beach to run around on. I’m in an apartment very close to Deering Oaks Park and the Western Prom. The apartment is a compact second story walk up and has been carefully maintained to keep it safe for curious noses.

Claudia and Jason (Ilan) were amazing with our pup! He has some anxiety about new people and places and they moved at his pace. It’s obvious that they have a lot of experience working with dogs and genuinely care about them! They always made sure he was comfortable, happy, and had enough exercise. Josh was an incredible dog watcher for Whistler. He went above and beyond, including taking her to our wedding so that she could be our ring bearer. He also took her to the lake and she had an absolute blast with his other two dogs. He was attentive, loving, and sent us pictures all the time of her adventure with Josh!
Celine was 10 out of 10 fantastic for our dog’s weekend sleepover. She is a kind and caring person who makes sure both you and your dog are comfortable. I received many photos a day and I knew my dog was safe, happy, and enjoying his weekend with her. Overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend Celine!

Bee had such a fun time staying with Emmy and Banjo! Emmy sent me daily picture updates, was super responsive and accommodating to changes in my schedule. Bee is a high energy dog and Emmy fulfilled her exercise needs every day, getting her outside to do all of her favorite things. Bee will be excited to visit Emmy and Banjo again the next time I need a sitter!
